Angelina Jolie on Larry King Live
June 15, 2007 by Sherry
Angelina Jolie appeared on Larry King Live on CNN last night. Unfortunately, I can’t find a full video on YouTube yet, only a small segment.
However, you can see the entire interview on the CNN website here. Just remember to come back and discuss!
I love listening to her talk about her beliefs and the things that are important to her.
Angelina Jolie doesn’t hate the paparazzi
June 15, 2007 by Sherry
I’m sure that she gets properly fed up of it sometimes, but Angelina Jolie is willing to help out those in need - even a photographer. One of Splash News’ celeb photographers, James Ambler, was busily working and following Angie around NYC to catch all her promotional moments. While cruising around on his bike, he hit a nail and popped one of his tires.
Lo and behold, Angelina had her car stop so she could offer the photographer a lift. She even called out, “Come on Lance, hop in!” Lance is the nickname that the Jolie-Pitt family has for James, after Lance Armstrong, because of his bicycle riding.
James was very cute, saying that time stood still when he was asked how long he was in the car with her. He also said that Angie had mentioned she appreciated that more photographers were giving her children some space. Overall, James/”Lance” had this to say about Angie:
“Really down to earth, really lovely,”
You can see video footage of James describing the experience here. (Flash required)

Angelina Jolie on The Daily Show
June 15, 2007 by Sherry
Before I head out, here is the interview Jon Stewart did with Angelina Jolie on Thursday.
Enjoy!
(Thank you, lujane, for the link!)
A quick note
June 14, 2007 by Sherry
I just wanted to say that I just finished watching Angelina Jolie on The Daily Show and she was incredibly charming, poised, and very sweet. I *love* Jon Stewart tremendously, the man is awesome and he made me laugh with quite a few comments and questions (such as offering up a chance for a playdate, then saying if the kids want to come along too that would be okay, ha!).
I just wanted to let everyone here know, since you’re all awesome, that I will do my beset to find a video clip of the segment tomorrow as soon as I can but that I will be out of the house for a good portion of the day since my toddler is having surgery; it’s considered “minor” surgery and it’s not for a life-threatening problem but it will definitely be my priority to care for her when we get home so I may not get to post again until late afternoon or evening. I just wanted to let you know I’m not slacking off and I will be back to work to provide you with your Jolie-Pitt fix as soon as I can, so don’t worry if you don’t see anything in the first part of the day!
Angelina Jolie greeted before The Daily Show
June 14, 2007 by Sherry

As Angelina Jolie finished up with The Daily Show, she was greeted by a pack of fans. She was more than happy to stop and sign autographs for her fans and smile for the cameras before heading off.
Catch Angelina on The Daily Show tonight at 11PM on Comedy Central or if you’re up here in Canada with me, see it at midnight (Eastern) on CTV.

Angelina talks about her weight
June 14, 2007 by Sherry

The most common thing I hear about Angelina’s appearance is that she is so thin and that she needs to put on some weight. It has never once crossed my mind that she was anorexic or that she was somehow trying to be as thin as possible.
That’s why I’m so glad that during some interviews, Angelina talked about her weight. This is what she had to say:
“Someone saying to me that I’m thin is not a compliment,” Jolie said. “I’ve always been lean and this year I lost my mom and I’ve gone through a lot. I have four kids and I finished breastfeeding - it’s been hard to get my nutrition back on track. Instead of people saying I look like a person dealing with something emotionally, they assume it’s because I want to fit into skinny jeans.”
I don’t know why people are so quick to write her off as another Hollywood stick figure. Of course her grief and her busy life has contributed to her weight loss. I’m (as Angie put it) lean too, and if I lost my mother and was grieving while also trying to take care of my two kids, do my work, and all my day to day obligations, I would probably end up very thin as well. I know I certainly wouldn’t want everyone whispering that I must be anorexic and I’m in awe that Angie continues to handle the downside of fame .

Brad takes Pax to the doctor
June 14, 2007 by Sherry

This morning, Brad Pitt was seen carrying Pax into a pediatric center in New York. No word on whether it was something as routine as a scheduled vaccination or whether he was sick or had hurt himself. He doesn’t look too upset in the pictures, though he does look wary of the cameras and people.
Let’s hope Pax is doing just fine and that it wasn’t anything too serious!

Angelina and Brad at the Mighty After Party
June 14, 2007 by Sherry

Luckily for fans, there are plenty of beautiful pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at the after party for A Mighty Heart on Wednesday night.
Poor Brad and Angelina. They both look great, and I’m still in awe of Angie and her $26 dress - not to mention I *love* her shoes. However, I have to say they both look tired. I recognize that look, that’s “tired parents” look; I’ve seen it on my own face countless times. They definitely still look happy and gorgeous though, tired or not.

Last night, after the premiere for A Mighty HeartBrad Pitt and Angelina Jolie grabbed a quick snack before leaving with Marianne Pearl for the after party at the Metropolitan Club. The after party was in honor of Reporters Without Borders, which protects the rights of journalists and photographers.

Angelina and Brad’s Mighty Heart red carpet
June 13, 2007 by Sherry

Wednesday in New York City, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt walked the red carpet again for the premiere of A Mighty Heart at the Ziegfeld Theatre.

Angelina proved that some star beauty is just something you’re born with seeing as how she looked ridiculously stunning - while wearing a velvet dress that only cost $26. Proof that not everyone needs a high priced name brand dress to look incredible because Angie shops vintage stores. Her shoes had crystal heels and I am hoping to find a close up of them, but considering how gorgeous she looked, I don’t imagine any of the photographers were aiming for her feet.
After the premiere, the pair were intending to head off to the after party at the Metropolitan Club, and hopefully there will be photos of that event as well.

There are a ton of pictures below the cut, brace yourself!
