A great post-Cannes Ocean’s Thirteen article
I found a fantastic article explaining how the cast of Ocean’s Thirteen is very close. Although it’s the last in the Ocean’s series, you can tell that the boys have become like a band of brothers thanks to the filming and promotion of all three films over the years.
The highlight of the article for me is reading what has been quoted in various locations, the joking banter between Matt Damon and George Clooney about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Damon: “Brad has had it tough. He’s . . . ”
Clooney: “Hobbled with children . . . ”
Damon: “And that wife . . . ”
Clooney: “That horrible, ugly wife.”
Damon: “I mean, to go home to her every day . . . ”
Clooney: “What do you do?”
Damon: “Well, you have your work. That’s about it. You can take refuge there.”
I also had a good laugh at the mental image of a story that George Clooney shared:
Clooney, still single, reminisced about turning up at the makeshift bar on the Ocean’s Thirteen set and finding it overrun by children.
“Matt said, ‘We should take a photo of this’ because I’m in here with a bunch of, like, kids in diapers, and I’m sitting here having a vodka,” Clooney said.
It’s always so nice to find out that the chemistry that we see on-screen between actors translates to a real camaraderie off the set as well. (Of course, Brangelina fans are all about good, solid chemistry in a film becoming chemistry off-screen as well. Hello, Mr & Mrs Smith!)

I seem to be in the minority, looks like. I think it’s in incredible bad taste for Matt and George to say those things. When a joke depends on whether or not you can see a coy smile, it’s not funny. It gets misquoted, and misinterpreted. What Angelina doesn’t need right now is people saying, in public, that’s she’s horrible and she’s ruined Brad’s life.

Hey Sherry, di you read the latest internet headlines, that Brad & Angie are FINALLY getting married? Do you think it’s true? I just read that they are in the process of making plans, maybe for late autumn, and that the wedding may be twice the size of the one he had with Jennifer Aniston.

There is a picture of George C and Matt’s family vacationing at George’s villa in Lake Como from Lainey’s site. I don’t think that wedding rumor is true. There is also a rumor that JA has a new mystery guy boyfriend or fiance who is blond and handsome. I saw this at AH and heard on KBIG.

Am just wondering how come Shiloh & Angelina does not have photos together — aside from Angie’s photos when she gave birth of Shiloh? I mean the photos I usually see is Shiloh with Brad and Angelina with their other kids…Like I said, am just wondering.

Ina, there were pictures the newest ones of angie holding shiloh on their way to the airport to go off to cannes. both mommy and daughter wear black outfits.

Nice to know that they are back to the States, they all look like that they jumped out of bed & off to the airport, they must all be exhausted specially Brad after flying back to Prague from Montreal to be with his family.I can’t wait to see them at the premier of Ocean Thirteen. More power to them.
