Angelina and Brad dance the Cannes-Cannes
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have already hit the Cannes red carpet in style. I love seeing them in their downtime but goodness knows I also love seeing them dressed up and rocking the cameras.
When People magazine asked Angie what their plans were after they were done presenting A Mighty Heart, Angie brought up their kids who are back at the hotel, and had this to say:
“We’ve been playing with them since the moment we landed, And we plan to go home to them as soon as we are done with this.”
They attended a press conference today to discuss the film. Angie admitted to being unsure about taking on the role of Mariane Pearl at first, stating she was very nervous about getting it right. In regards to how she thinks she did, she said:
“Mariane seems to think we’ve done all right.”
The family of six is staying at Hotel du Cap in a villa. Angie said that the hotel in Cap d’Antibes is a beautiful place and she’s happy to be able to enjoy it with her whole family.
An amusing moment came about when the mediator at the conference asked Brad to comment unexpectedly on one of Angie’s questions and Brad referred to her as “what’s-her-name”. Then he talked for a bit about how, as a couple, they plan to work together to make the planet a better place. He said:
“As a father, too, I look at my kids and realize they will inherit this world. And we want to do everything we can to throw our weight in and make it a little bit better. “
When asked by People how he was enjoying Cannes, he answered:

They are such good parents - playing with the kids right up till show time and heading back to their arms as soon as it’s over! I love it! I also love what Brad said about making the world a better place for our children - truer words have never been spoken. Finally, I say #@^ damn - what a hot couple those two make. Yowsers! I can’t help but notice how “so Mom” (and a very gorgeous one!) because she wears the same shoes for 3 occassions now. You know how Moms just packed minimal for themselves because she has to think of the kids first????
I believe I have never seen Angelina so happy and content ever than these last couple of months!! She’s such a content, intelligent Mom!
