Angelina Jolie addresses the IVF question
August 4, 2008 by Sherry
As many of you will remember, there was a lot of talk that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did In Vitro Fertilization to conceive twins, and even rumors that they had purposely chosen to have one boy and one girl. IVF is a wonderful advance to help parents who are struggling with infertility, but it is not usually taken lightly. Also, while IVF has helped many families, and is thus a positive thing, the problem was that the tabloids and blogs were twisting it into something negative, saying they were controlling how many babies they had and whether they were boys or girls. That was why I refused to post about it at the time.
However, in the interview, Hello asked them directly and Angelina cleared the air.
There were reports that the twins were conceived through IVF. Would you like to comment on that?
Angelina: If they had been conceived through IVF we would have been happy to discuss it. But we have been fortunate never to have had fertility problems.
I know not everyone is going to believe that, which is fine. But I have to figure, Angelina is so outspoken and so blunt about everything else in her life. If she had indeed had fertility problems and they had gone the IVF route with a successful outcome (after all, there’s no guarantee!), then I feel pretty sure that she would have talked about it with pride and honesty.
So, I guess the tabloids will have to put their thinking hats on and come up with some new garbage instead!

Hi, Angela.
Yes, my mom’s a fan of Angelina - but not as active as me (her church activities keep her busy). She really enjoyed the Shiloh issue.
Heh, maybe if there’s a Jolie-Pitt fan convention someday I can show you the scrapbook & art collage.
Or maybe at a Pittwatch reunion.
a Jolie-Pitt fan convention.. that would be nice. i hope the JP family could attend. LOL:)
