  Wow, she bought a lot. They must be for all the kids and costumes for Halloween. What is HSM? It was cloudy in southern California on Saturday but on Sunday, it became sunny and warm. Still the air quality was really bad. So I hope the other kids are home indoors.

  my mom has the same parrot toy that angie is looking on the 13th photo. he mimicks words that you are saying and you can record some voice messages and when you clap your hands it will say the words that you have recorded. it can make you smile when you are bored. haha.

  Yeah, the Parrot toy is cool, it speaks and moves with his wings. I had one as kid too.

  I was also wondering about the playguns. I thought Angi wont like to have playguns for their kids … may she changes her mind or Madd wanted one and she couldnt resist ;P Who could resist such a cute smile :)

  Cattie, perhaps you don’t live in the U.S. We don’t have Royalty here. This is not a Royal family, it is a Celebrity family. I am sure Brad and Angie would be the first to laugh at them being referred to as Royal. Especially since most of the fans have commented on how down to earth they both are.

  A quick Google search for “Hollywood Royalty” will show a great deal of results showing that the term has been used for a very long time, especially in the days of Old Hollywood.

  Since Angie’s Dad is Old Hollywood, I guess he would fit in that category also but have never heard of Jon Voight referred to as Royalty. I still would say that Angie and Brad would think it was funny to have themselves referred to in such a term. George Clooney would tease Brad about it for sure since they are such good friends. I do see that Stars like Elizabeth Taylor and Lauren Bacall would be definately be called Hollywood Royalty.

  and in regards to the moniker “ROYAL FAMILY” that is being used in reference to them, it shows a respect for the manner in which they conduct themselves. they have been nothing but gracious, and showed dignity in the midst of all the nonsense being said about them on a daily basis. when you talk about class you talk abou brad and angie.

  A reader in Just Jared mentioned that it seems like it is the girl behind Angelina who is holding the High School Musical box, not Angie, and I think she’s right! If you look very closely at the position of the lower arm/hand, it is not a natural position in line with Angie’s arm. Anybody else notice this?

  I think the reason people refer to Angie about how the children are raised is because she herself said she is the one to give any discipline or say No, not Brad. She is obviously the strong one and the Leader in the family.

  It seems there are a lot of people who go beyond being fans to being obsessive with this couple. They are human beings who are still like ordinary people in many ways other than being famous celebrities, and have said more than once they didn’t want to be treated any differently.

  ligaya, regarding Sherry, this is her site, she can decide definately what she wants said or not said, since I am used to the First Amendment in this country I thought we could voice our opinion and comments as long as they weren’t malicious or downright nasty, which I have not.

  I have read more than one post about them like they were people to be revered, not just admired. People can change and I think Angie has, for the good, but she is not and has not ever been an Angel like she is made out to be, however, I do think she is a good person and will continue to help many people have a better quality of life, not just her immediate family.

  If you want to idolize this couple that is your choice, it isn’t mine.

  Throughout all the threads so far you have been spoiling for a fight…why?

  Admiration and respect is not idolatry(sp). This is the majority of BAMPZS fans, yes there are a few who are very devoted; there’s nothing wrong with this if it hurts no one.

  Your “voice” sounds very familiar to me. There is someone who visits other Brad&Angie sites with the same arguments, WHILST swearing-hand on heart- that she is a fan.

  Does suggesting that Brad is weak make you feel better? With MOST families, the Mother is the anchor in the family. The ideal is a myth. How many husbands/father’s find themselves going on holidays, to parties or moving house because the wife/mother wishes it that way?! The majority.

  Johnny Depp moved to France, has stayed there to bring up his family. No one calls him weak and V. Paradis “the strong one”. Why? This idea that Brad is somehow playing at father at Angies whim is irritating and unjust. JJ and tabloids do this a lot.

  Recently Ben Affleck was “a stay at home Dad” whilst J Garner worked Broadway. The whole article was positive in tone.

  However Brad is always referred to as Mr. Mom, Daddy Brad, babysitter to Angies’ kids etc.

  The connotations are obvious yet hidden, but they manage to sink into the subconcious and AID people to form their “opinions”.

  I understand that you have issues about this couple, but jumping on everyone who echos the crap they read out there and use it is hypocritical of you. The fans didn’t invent the term “Royal Couple” but they owned it. Brad and Angie are appauled about this, they said so Dec 2006. But the tabs, Ent. News and blogs sites at times still use it.

  These are the people you should be directing your disdain at…not the fan who uses the term, fondly :)

  What’s wrong with you lori? This is a very quiet & peaceful site mostly very positive about Brad & Ange, I know you are just stating your opinion but you also have to respect other opinions. There are so many parents in HW but not being criticize as they criticize Brad & Ange, there’s nothing wrong the way they are raising their kids, they should be applauded despite of their tight schedules, they still manage to spend quality time with their kids & do a lot of charity works. They are such a very loving & good parents. They are doing an excellent job as parents. I admire the Jolie-Pitt’s.

  BlessBrangelina, I will try to respond to some of your comments with my opinions as politely as possible.

  First of all, I do think Brad is a very weak man. He was weak to have stayed with Jennifer for years when she kept promising as soon as Friends was over she would have a baby. That did not happen. He was weak with Gwyneth, she broke it off with him, not vice versa as many thought. She just admitted that recently. I also think he was weak way back with Robin Givens. Angie is just the strongest woman he has ever been with and I do think it is a love match, I think they will stay together if she doesn’t get bored with him.

  From the words used to describe them on here from some “fans” I would say it goes way beyond admiration and respect for what some of them feel.

  As for my “voice” being familiar as to being a Fan, when did I ever do that? I am not a Fan, over never claimed to be one. I do find many admirable traits about both of them and I think they are good examples to set for society in lots of ways, that is all.

  As far as Brad being Mr. Mom, and Daddy Brad, isn’t that the case sometimes, as far as Mr. Mom goes? And I have never said there was anything wrong with it, in fact I think that is how it should be.

  irma, when did I say they weren’t good and loving parents? When did I say they weren’t raising their kids right and spending quality time with them? I do think that they should spend just AS much quality time with Shiloh like they do the older kids but what would be wrong with that?

  I would like to see them settle in one stable enviornment but I don’t think Angie would be happy doing that, that doesn’t make them bad parents and I never said that. Where did you see that I stated that?

  so I guess that means that my two sons who are in their early 40’s are weak. Because that is the way the father and I raised them to be. Brad Pitt is all of the above and his parents should be very proud that he has been in Hollywood a long time and never forgot what he was taught.

  To Lori, I’m an American living in England. So I kinda know who is of the Royal Blood Line.

  I call them Royalty because they are a Regal Family. Royal peeps are not perfect heck no human is but I can see this “celebrity” couple trying to do good in this world and not solely focusing on their riches (unlike some) even though they clearly are rich! And that is “Royal” in my eyes.

  Brad and Angie are referred to as Hollywood Royalty. The Hollywood usually goes first to make it clear that it is just a celebrity term, not monarchical. There’s nothing literal about it, and I think everyone’s smart enough to realize that they don’t actually come from an actual monarchical blood line. Sheesh. Even though they are referred to as a Royal Couple, it’s just a showbiz tag, nothing more. It’s just a label, like Golden couple to indicate that they are a powerful and famous couple. Why is this even being discussed? Lori, you’re usually okay, but you do tend to take things too literally and just kinda nitpick a bit, and over something as trivial as a label, a label not really perpetuated or initiated by the fans, but by showbiz news and gossip blogs.

  AN APPEAL TO SHERRY

  I don’t express my appreciation of your time, energy, hard work, patience and level-headedness (is that a word?) enough. Pittwatch is a precious and rare site, I treasure it, you, and almost all of the posters. I’m concerned that the Lori brouhaha is on the brink of consuming Pittwatch. It seems that most or at least half of the comments lately are from Lori or responding to Lori, instead of focusing on the Jolie-Pitts.

  I think it’s time to consider the T-word - troll. Up until BlessBrangelina’s post (”spoiling for a fight”), I’d seen Lori as a cantankerous, mixed-up person, but not a troll. There have been visitors here before who have been anti-JPs, sometimes outright, sometimes saying they were fans BUT…then spew all the lies. (Refreshingly, Lori has posted she is NOT a fan, which begs the question of why she’s on a fan site.) I’ve re-read Lori’s posts from the last 6 weeks. Whether Lori is a troll or not, it’s clear to me that she behaves like a troll, and is extremely disruptive on this board. I don’t want L’Affaire Lori to be destructive to our peace.

  Remember that old lie about mean Angelina making poor Maddox give up his toys to donate to Third World kids? It just struck me how many of our JP photos are from trips to toy stores, art stores and bookstores. Angelina doesn’t stint on toys for Mad, Z, Pax & Shiloh. (and there are trips to Office Depot especially for Shiloh!…kidding). The kids have a great balance because Mama & Pappa don’t over-indulge them either (I’m sure Mad’s & Shiloh’s birthday parties could have been a lot more elaborate, over-the-top, and celebrity-like had they chosen.). When is Pax’s bday? I hope there are pics & reports about the party.
