Angelina Jolie goes shopping with Zahara and Shiloh

Over the weekend, Angelina Jolie took Zahara and Shiloh to a supermarket for a bit of shopping. Both the girls are getting so ridiculously big, I can’t believe how fast they’re growing up!
In their trademark form, everyone stuck to their “uniform” so to speak with Angelina wearing black pants and a black tank top (and looking fabulous of course!), Zahara dressed up in a pretty purple dress, and Shiloh in her tomboy favorites, wearing a hat and a tie.
I’ve read such mean things about clothing choices for the Jolie-Pitt children but I love the way the kids all dress. It’s clear that Brad and Angelina let the kids dress the way they like and don’t try to change what is comfortable to them. I think it’s a great way to be. There are approximately ten million things parents and kids can argue about throughout the course of a single day and if you don’t pick your battles you’ll go completely nuts. I’m all for letting children choose what they want to wear as long as it’s appropriate (i.e. no shorts in the dead of winter, nothing trashy, etc).
I wonder what Angelina was buying! Whatever they were there for, Shiloh and Zahara looked so happy with big smiles – even the paparazzi-hating Zahara. Also, the two of them holding hands just about killed me with the cuteness!

i love the fact that zahara has the presence of mind to adjust the strap on her dress despite the commotion. this little girl has poise. and her smile….so gorgeous! love her flowing dress and flip flops. brad and angelina are lucky their children are so well-behaved in public. it speaks volumes on their parenting skills.
I suspect since Shiloh is really to young to be losing her baby teeth yet, that she probably fell down….it happens. Boy I will say one thing the Voight gene is very strong, she looks like her grandpa.
Amy- That makes sense, and I agree with you. I’m sick of Shiloh being compared to Suri, and vice versa!
joliepittfanatic – I couldn´t agree with you more. I´m also so sick and tired of those people who are comparing Shiloh and Suri. They both are beautiful little girls. In a way I feel a little bit partial here because I´m such a big fan of the JP family. Tom and Katie have their style of raising Suri and Brad and Angie have their own way of raising Shiloh and her siblings. If Suri wants to wear only designer clothes that´s fine with me. But I really admire the way Brad and Angie let their children be children. I´m not saying that Tom and Katie aren´t letting Suri to be a child but these families live such a different life styles. I think that a child should wear those clothes he/she feels comfortable in. Shi obviously feels comfortable wearing her big brothers´ old clothes and Zee wearing girly clothes. So enough of that whole Suri/Shiloh comparison. I just can´t get enough of these pics. Especially today when it´s been raining since early morning here in Finland these pics have lifted my spirits enormously. Love Shi, Zee, Angie and the rest of the family! Keep up the good work, Sherry and post new pics of the family as soon as you get some! God bless the JPs!

Shiloh is so cute and adorable! love the tie and shirt! that green skull shirt makes me so envious of her, haha! i want it too! Princess Zee is so pretty in purple dress..
about Suri comparing to Shiloh, please! you can’t compare a kid to another one because each kid is unique! even twins are different in a way! and Suri has no relation to the JP kids.. i love the way Shi dress, the way she express herself at that young age is really something! and what’s the fuss if Shi wants to wear Madz clothes? i used to wear boyish clothes, if Shi is confortable with that I don’t see anything wrong with that.
Susan – I partly agree with you. I, too, can detect some of that famous Voight gene in Shi but I still dare to say that Shi is her dad´s mini-me. All those facial expressions and blond hair come from her dad. Her face will change many times in the coming years and it´s still too early to say which side of her family – the Voight side or the Pitt side – she will look more like. But what´s more important than her outlook is that she´s happy and healthy and well-cared for. I´ve never been a kind of person who chooses friends based in their outer beauty. To me the inner beauty means more. And for the last time:let Shi wear what she wants! She´s just a three year old girl and can wear whatever she wants! Amen!
though it’s not fair to compare shiloh with suri, i have to say shiloh is very well behaved. i’ve seen pictures of suri lose her temper in public. she had a terrible meltdown once and pictures were taken unfortunately. that is very normal. but i’ve never seen shiloh do that and that’s remarkable for a child so young.
shiloh is projecting someone in what she wears,could be daddy or an older brother. or maybe she is playing a new character that she saw in a movie. obviously, she is an actress already and she just wants to express herself.
Yes, from the way of immersing herself in some character Shiloh seems to have inherited acting gene from Brad and Angie.

Stratoula – I agree with you. The girls both look so happy and content in these pics. They sure missed their mum and dad while they were in Middle East with the twins. And naturally they sure missed Knox and Viv. The way those two hold hands tell how close they are. Brad and Angie truly are wonderful parents. They have raised their children well. I´ve never seen a pic in which Zee or Shi or the older boys have had a public tantrum. They know how to behave and it´s always a pleasure to see well-behaved children. If only people would stop fussing over Shi´s clothing. She has her own personality and she dresses as she wants. She looks so cute in these clothes she´s wearing in these pics.
Zahara truly has that million dollar smile and it just makes my day to see that, since she usually has that look of disdain whenever the photogs are around snapping pictures. She really radiates true joy and inner beauty. The pictures of her and Shiloh holding hands together as 2 sisters is too cute for words but speaks volumes about love and family. Growing up together they will not see the color differences of their skin. Love the Jolie-Pitt family!
I was just looking at these pictures again…and a couple of things caught my eye. In the first picture, where the door of the J-Ps vehicle is open and we can see inside a bit, there appears to be some sort of mesh sheet-like thing hanging between the driver’s and front passenger’s seat and the first two back seats (it it is also visable in the second picture).
In pictures number 3, 4, and 5, where the vehicle door is closed, you can clearly see what looks to be like a smaller window attached to the main window. Anyone have any idea what those two things (the mesh sheet and the smaller window on the main window) are for?
The mesh sheet in particular surprises me, as we’ve seen plenty of evidence that Angie and Brad often do the driving themselves, and I’d think they’d want to have very easy access to the kids if any of them (especially the twins, who are still young enough that they depend on their parents for almost everything) should need it. The mesh sheet looks like it would make that difficult.
joliepittfanatic- have you ever seen this van before in any pictures? I dont remember it at all. I dont think it is even their van. Maybe its a driving service they use or their bodyguards van. But in any case, it seems to me that angie was probably sitting in the back with the girls. I dont think that brad or angie would ever drive a vehicle that they couldnt see their kids in.
Zahara and Shiloh look so gorgeous, love Zahara’s beautiful smile and also love the way they are holding hands. You can see they are happy little girls, and that is because they have wonderful parents. God Bless all the Jolie-Pitt family

how adorable is Zahara’s smile! you rarley see her smile for the paparazi but when she does its so cute! she is so elegant, deffinatly going to grow up to be a model or singer or actress like her mom. shiloh is adorable too, i think she will be a musician or somthing like that. the whole family are beautiful!
