Angelina Jolie Got Kicked During Conference

While Angelina Jolie was at the “Iraq, Education, and Children of Conflict” conference this week, she ended up being kicked. Not metaphorically, literally kicked. But don’t worry, it wasn’t malicious.
It turns out that since it’s very obvious that she’s expecting, Angelina Jolie is finally talking about her pregnancy a little bit. According to People.com, she said that while she was sitting there at the table discussing Iraq, she suddenly felt her baby kicking around inside. Meanwhile, she managed to stay focused, which is not easy to do when there are somersaults and aerobic workouts going on in your uterus!
Angelina said that she is savoring this time and said, “It is a very special time in our lives.”

first! it’s great she “shares” her pregnancy with other people. i don’t know a lot of things about pregnancy: at what age the baby began moving?

Hi Melodie! It depends on the person, but a lot of people tend to feel movement around the 18-20 week point, around halfway through the pregnancy. You can feel it sooner, but the earlier it is, the harder it is to tell if it’s movement or just your stomach rumbling around. :)
It may not be the first time it happened for her, but it’s the first time she’s talking about it to the media. Some people find the kicking to be strange or bothersome, but I always loved it, it was my favorite thing - definitely distracting though! I used to like to put things on my stomach (like the TV remote) and watch it get kicked right off. :)

When I was pregnant I thought the kicking was great. But when my son decided to try and put his elbow or maybe his knee through the side of my stomach for 3 days that was kinda weird. My husband was really weirded out seeing this big bump sticking out. And I definitely don’t miss the last month when I was so big I felt like a house. It is definitely not a tickle and much more like a kick or poke.

i love holly, she ’s a great person, discreet and i find her really beautiful. she is probably angie’s best friend. we don’t see her on the pics but when you see larger view of the same pics, you can see holly, everytime there to help angie and brad. god bless her.

That’s really cute when for the first time Angie talks about her baby & it’s about her/him kicking. I bet, Brad put his head & listen to his baby inside Angie’s tummy. My husband did that when I was pregnant, it was exciting for the both of us.
The way Angie’s tummy looks like, she must be on her 5 months. I can’t wait for her to give birth so we’ll know if it is a girl or a boy. I don’t think they will announce until the later part of her pregnancy. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

I hoping that Brad and Angie are so involved with many different efforts that they will stay in the states to have their baby. I wonder when the baby is due. Question, who is Holly? And what is her relationship to the JP’s. I guess I must have missed that somewhere along the line. This getting old and forgetful is not fun. I have said it before and I will say it again, Sherry you have a wonderful site. The commenters are young (Melodie & Angela) all the way up to us seniors. When I just want to relax and feel good I sign on here to see what every one is discussing. The JP’s sure have alot of people thinking and talking about them. When I see them on other websites (JJ & TMZ) there are hundreds of comments. Of course not all are nice, but I just laugh to myself and come back here to Pittwatch.

Holly is Angie’s assistant, when Holly got married Angie was the maid of honour. Madd was with her at the wedding. Angie treats her like a family.

Mary Ann, like you, I am hoping that this new baby will be born here in the States but because of the papz gets so crazy about them, Angie may opt of to somewhere where the laws against the papz are more strict than in the States.
I am so excited about their second bio child, she/he maybe Brad’s spitting image since Shi looks more like her mom but when I look at Shi longer, I see Brad’s face.

Wow,,,this makes me wonder if the twins rumor is true. Even though the baby moves from the beginning, moms usually feel it for the first time around 18-20 weeks. She is big, and even though you do show earlier with the second pregnancy, she appears larger than what would be normal for 18-20 weeks. I HOPE she is pregnant with twins, although she will feel miserable toward the end, but somehow she doesn’t seem like the type to complain. However, just one baby is exciting enough!!!! Good for these two……they truly belong together.

That is the cutest story ever. I guess wee baby Brangelina approves of her mom’s good work!
I hope they can get somewhere really private and peaceful to have their new baby. Namibia seemed to work out well for them with Shiloh. It was nice that Angie had as much time as she needed to recover before facing the hungry press, and so sweet that the Namibian Government protected them so well.

Angie DOES look way too big to be 18-20 weeks. Especially given that she is so small-framed to begin with, you’d notice that she was 20 weeks along WAY sooner than when we “officially” found out when she wore that ever-so-stunning black dress with an obvious “bump”. I’m voting twins…. and God Bless them either way. They’ll either end up with 5 or 6 kids now, all under the age of 10! I’d be bonkers…

I love that picture of Angelina in the blue bridesmaid’s dress with Maddox - one of my faves of the two of them together.
Holly is such a great friend - many personal assistants & others who work for famous people betray their trust to get the big money from the tabs.
I’d like the birth to happen in a safe place, where the family is least disturbed. It’d be wonderful if the baby was born in New Orleans. France would be nice too because of Angie’s mere. But who knows, maybe it’ll be in a new continent.

Thanks for sharing the video. This is the first time I have seen this video. I did’nt think Angie like mushy things like being in a wedding. Nevertheless, Angie looks absolutely adorable and beautiful in blue, and Madd is really cute at that age. He still is cute. The wedding was beautiful.
