Angelina Jolie is in Iraq
It seems that the story about going to Jordan was a cover for the sake of privacy and security. It turns out that Angelina Jolie is back in Iraq to draw attention to the refugee crisis there. She is trying to push the humanitarian efforts which aren’t doing enough to help the two million displaced individuals in the country. She said:
“There doesn’t seem to be a real coherent plan to help them,” said Jolie, speaking in an exclusive interview with CNN’s Arwa Damon Thursday.
“There’s lots of goodwill. Lots of discussion, but there seems to be a lot of talk at the moment, and a lot of pieces that need to be put together. I’m trying to figure out what they are.”
You can see some video footage and read more about her work in Iraq here on CNN’s website.
Some people have pointed out that Angelina Jolie was deflecting personal questions during the interview and that it was a sign that she must be pregnant. I don’t think it’s that unusual though. Whenever she’s doing humanitarian work, she usually does avoid personal questions because she would rather keep the focus on the situation at hand. She’s generally quite accommodating during interviews at other times but discussing a refugee crisis isn’t the time for personal questions, so while I do think she might be pregnant and would be very happy if she is, I don’t think it’s necessarily a fact just because she’s avoiding personal details in the interview.
This is Angelina’s second visit to Iraq within a year.
(Also, my apologies to anyone who has comments still waiting in moderation or who has been having difficulties in getting this site to load. We’re having some server issues at the moment and the brilliant tech team is working very hard to restore everything to normal. Thank you for your patience, I know how frustrating it is when things like this happen but hopefully it will be back to normal soon!)

Time will tell & soon we will find out if she is pregnant or not. For now, I am happy that her mission in Iraq has wrapped up & she is probably on her way back to the US. So proud of Ange. She gives morale boost to the US troops just by being there with them. I’ve seen some of the videos of her eating lunch with the troops, they were like all over her one soldier keeps on talking but I can’t blame the soldier, once in a lifetime chance to sit down & eat with Ange. Go Ange. God bless her & be safe. She will be back tomorrow to the US or on the weekend. Brad & the kids misses you.

She is such an inspiration to me. She’s brave and always seems to be present with those who are with her. AJ shows her open heart. A theory: all those years of darkness and despair helped her empathize now with those who are in a dark place….those years showed her the depth of living, and now she can soar equally in the opposite direction…high degree of appreciation for life and love. So glad she has the support of Brad Pitt to hold the home & kids place. They will be together a very long time, hopefully this entire life time as they have so much to work on besides themselves. She’s a 21st century woman - Hillary take note!

What an amazing person. Brad and Angelina are a couple to be proud of. Yes, I would love to know if they are expecting, but we must wait and see if they annouce it. Sherry, so happy you were able to get the problems solved. I was yesterday and last night, saying is it my computer or what? I love this site and would be real disappointed if it wasn’t available.

I heard, on the radio this morning, that someone has threatened to kidnap Shiloh; therefore, she and Brad had to toughen up on security. If so, those damn pappz need to die, because they are to focused on taking to many pics of Hollywoods small children. But, have you heard this rumour and how true is it?

Part of her humanitarian work is traveling to dangerous country. Angie is brave with a big heart helping needed people. I hope she is pregnant.

I just made the mistake of going to Popsugar and Perez Hilton blogs, and reading the comments. My
God, what horrible people we have living in the world today. Some of these posters who write these hateful things about Angie have got to be either very bitter, or just sick individuals, who hide behind their computers and pour out all the vile and poisonious feelings about themselves onto Angie. You cannot convince me this is still about a divorce that is three years old, and had nothing to do with them. This is a reflection of their empty lives, and somehow Angie going about her life being productive and altruistic embarrasses them, and makes them feel even less baout themselves. It would have been funny, if it wasn’t so sad and SCARY.
I know that God will always bless Angie and her family, because of their capacity for tolerance and love. She will continue to be successful and prosperous, so we as fans will forever be bombarded with all the hatred directed at them. I have therefore made a conscious decision, that as of today, i will no longer read blogs or magazine articles that are negative and inflammatory in nature. I am sure my blood pressure will thank me. lol.

I remember Angie saying something about celebrating all sorts of holiday in the Jolie-Pitt household so I bet cha Brad is doing something special with Pax since its also Vietnamese New Years.
Today at my school was Ovarian Cancer day and I would like to send my prayers to all the people who lost love ones due to this cancer including Angelina.

It’s a dangerous trip, even if she’s got some security given to her. So I truly admire her for actually going on trips to these regions and areas of conflict. I wish and pray these fightings would already stop and that there’ll be less hate in the world. Praying for Angie’s safe return to her family too.

Passerbye, Happy New Year. My granddaughter who is 8 came home from school today all excited about the Chinese New Year. They made masks, lanterns, and sang a Chinese song. I am sure that Brad will make it special for Pax.

Angelina is in Iraq to help the children while Brad is shopping at the GAP - Patronizing a company with no regard whatsoever for fair trade and a history of child-labor offenses? I have maintained a healthy respect for Brad & Angelina and felt they have truly offered a “mold” for their celeb counterparts - but this strikes me as…stupid. That is the only word I can come up with. Sorry.

It still amazes me how far Angelina has come. She had so many problems when she was young, but she’s overcome them and has managed to become a vision of peace for everyone.
I’ve got some great photos over on my site as well - you can really see how much she cares about the soldier she’s talking to.

To Passerby “Happy New year”. Are you from China? Just wondering. They showed a footage of Ange in Iraq today on NBC international news, she was talking & mingling with the US troops. She is really an inspiration to all of us, what a remarkable change from her wild days to a very smart, humanitarian & very committed mother & partner to Brad. God bless her & her family.

Irma,
I’m was born and still live in Massachusetts but my parents were from China (My mom) and Cambodia (My dad).
Angie is living proof that you choose your own future and destiny. She was once that wild hollywood girl with her crazy ways but now she is a very mature loving women who is respected around the world. Her ability to change is what I admire MOST about Angie. This is the one characteristic about Angie that separates her from other pretty humanitarian celebrity parents. The fact that Angie doesn’t have a perfect life and have had failed relationship proves she’s human and that just makes her a very real person to look up to.
That’s why I idolize Angelina!

I never know my Angie got so much brian. i love and respect her the more. Look at the way she shawn off that nonsense question when they are on important issue. it shows people still never realizes that this woman is a serious person. Did you also see how Brad and she shawn the Red Carpet interview at Actors Award to avoid all those Ryan Seacreat cirtism. Way to go Angie, Kudos to you. You are power pack. God bless Bradangelina and all their children…….
