Angelina Jolie is still hard at work on the set of Salt

Everyone has been wondering where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are these days since they’ve been keeping out of the spotlight for awhile. They manage to do this from time to time, and I sort of think this may show some truth to the story that they had rented a house in Long Island, because if they had a nice, private yard then the kids could run and play without the family having to go out among the cameras – if they were renting in Manhattan they’d have to go out more to keep the kids from developing cabin fever.
Anyway, at least I can tell you that Angelina Jolie was seen in New York City the other day, doing some more filming for Salt. There haven’t been as many photos of the filming lately, they may have been filming indoors, maybe even in a studio. The other day, though, the cast and crew were busy on Park ave and 50th, with Angie sporting her big black coat to keep warm.
I’m hoping for a Brad and Angelina date night soon because it’s always nice to see the two of them out together – or a family outing! – but for now I’m happy that they’re just relaxing and not being trailed by a hundred people with cameras at every step. One thing though, despite the rumors that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and the Jolie-Pitt kids are on vacation in the Philippines, it seems clear that they’re still on U.S. soil!

They are getting out. There are lots of sightings of them around the place where they are staying in Long Island.
The paparazzi just can’t get them.
They also can’t get to the Studio where they have been for more than 2 weeks and will be filming most of the movie.
You better get used to the lack of pictures.

A present for you people. In Italy a Collectors edition of OGGI was released speaking about famous couples of the past and Angie and Brad had the cover and a 6 page spread. They are considered the extra plus by us and the top couple.
I’ll gift you with the cover. In Italy todays a sad day.

BT – That’s okay, like I said, as much as I enjoy seeing them, I’m very happy that they’re having some time away from the cameras to just be a normal family. I never mind the breaks in photos, though it does force me to be more creative in what I write here!
Angela50 – Thanks for that photo! I was very saddened when I watched the news this morning. Last I had heard, there were just over 40 confirmed dead, but that was several hours ago and I know the numbers have probably climbed, especially with the number of people who were still missing. It’s just awful and my thoughts are with them.

With a little luck maybe they manage to escape the paparazzi until the end of their staying in Long Island.
In the end of March they’ll be filming in Albany. It’s outside. Maybe Angelina will be there.

New pics yey! Great to see a glimpse of our girl. Well, I was reading about the Sassafras mansion an tried to locate it on the google maps. Looks like a great area and its supposedly bordered by this huge park. Plus supposedly, J.Lo has a mansion there up in the area. You know J. Lo showed up for one of Angie’s premieres or was it Brads. I wonder if their sets of fraternal twins are having playdates. J’los was born on Feb 2008 and Angies July 2008 – 5 mos difference. It was just an interesting thought. Glad the kids can run around freely without the paps around. God bless the JPs!
That info about them staying @ Sassafras estate was a tabloid rumor .Newsday says they may be staying at Rosehearty owned by Rupert Murdoch in Centre Island Long island There have been mutiple sightings of them Google Newsday

BT – i think everybody is used of not seeing there photos already, although we missed seeing them, it’s nice to know that they are having a great time with the whole family without the papz. but just like any other fan, it would be a treat to see them every once in a while.
Nice to see a picture of Angie. Where ever they are I hope they are all enjoying peace and quiet.

I am glad that they are enjoying their privacy. Brad is winning the paps’ games. As he said in the W Feb issue… his motto is to be like a shark…you have to keep moving…or something like that.

I didn’t think they would be in the Philippines. I wouldn’t be a surprise if it were a publicity stunt by the the hotel to promote its opening.

I am glad that Angie and Brad are in an area where they can move about with the papz after them. I am sure the papz know where they are but can’t get to them. If we know, I know the papz know.
Angela50, I am sorry to hear the news about the earthquake that devastated Italy. My thoughts and prayers are with those people who have suffered so much loss. Italy is one of my favorite countries to visit and to see those pictures of the devastation just breaks my heart. Thank you also for the beautiful cover picture.

Neela- I agree! I also just cannot see Angie and Brad going to the opening of some hotel. That just doesn’t seem like something they do. In generally, they don’t seem to do the “Hollywood thing” (showing up at hotel openings, showing up at club openings, go to celeb parties, etc.).
I mean, they usually don’t even attend the after parties of the various awards shows (SAGs, Golden Globes, Oscars, etc.).
I also have to laugh at the fact that the media, or at least the Filipino media, seems to have forgotten the fact that Angie is in the middle of filming a movie. How would they possibly even have time to go to the Phillipines (then again, Brad got a few week-long or so breaks during the filming of Inglorious Basterds in Germany, so maybe the press assumed the same is true of Angie)?
All of that said, I can’t wait to see the new discussion topic! Also, I wonder what the J-Ps will be doing for Easter?

I just clicked the link the gena posted, and that house is gorgeous! Also, I searched around trying to find more pictures of it (which I didn’t succeed in) as only one picture was posted on the site that Gena linked…and found out something interesting.
Per Newsday, Sassafras IS the mansion the J-Ps are leasing in Long Island, but renovations are being done there at the moment, so they are temporarily staying at Rosehearty.
Anyway, whatever the case may be, I agree with Sherry that the lack of pictures of the J-Ps DOES seem to confirm the rumors that they have leased a mansion somewhere in Long Island.
We didn’t see very many pictures of them while they were staying at the Chateau Mireval last summer, either. I just hope that the paps don’t tresspass onto their property in Long Island and take pictures of them like they did in France!
Of course, the main reason the paps did that was to try to get the first photos of the twins, so, hopefully, that was a one-time occurence!

Have you heard the rumour that she fainted after shooting a scene which involved running?I’m just wondering if it’s a story that only gossip portals in my country made up and spread around:P They also say that she’s exhausted beacause she decided to loose 9 kg…
Sharis, sounds like a rumor, especially about the weight loss. I think even Angie knows there wouldn’t be anymore fat to lose.

I remember reading about those rumors (fainting & weight loss) on Perez Hilton’s site. He linked it to a British tabloid. I’m sorry to be cross, but I’m just wondering, what’s up with the deluge of tabloid references in the comments section lately?
I guess people just want confirmation??? Usually, tabloids are non-stories. 
Yesterday someone mentioned that J Lo and Marc have an estate near where the Jolie-Pitts are staying. If they are renting the Murdoch estate, then they are near my ex-daughter-in-laws uncle. He is next door to J Lo and Marc.
these are not new pictures, they are few weeks ago.
Im on the island of Boracay PH, sightings of the couple are at the shangri la hotel.
To Ryan: Boracay? I thought they were staying at Surigao for surfing?
