Okay folks, did we call it or did we call it? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie hit the red carpet for the Independent Spirit Awards. No more loose and flowing dresses to make us wonder like before. Wearing a clingy (and sexy) black dress, Angelina Jolie has shown us that she is indeed pregnant. No need for formal announcements when your belly is sticking out that far - that’s a pregnant lady right there.
Congratulations to Brad and Angelina on the pregnancy! It won’t matter if she doesn’t win an award tonight, looks like she’s got one coming before the end of the year!

It comes at just the perfect time for their family, I think. Shiloh will be two, Zahara three and a half, Pax four and a half, and Madd nearly seven, so none of the kids will be too close together in age. Hopefully this new baby will take some of the intense focus off Shiloh, as well. In the end, they might have so many kids that they are all seen as equal (and the paparazzi won’t be *able* to yell out their names, cause there will be too many of them!)
Now let the speculation on names/gender begin! :) Yay! Congratulations to the lovely, happy, glowing couple!

Yeah, that’s true about the focus being on the new baby Phoebe, but they probably won’t take him/her out for many months after the birth (as they did with Shiloh - we didn’t get many pap photos of her until she was nine months old). And in the meantime hopefully Shiloh will be able to enjoy some time with her siblings not being the youngest/most sought after. Here I’m thinking of the time she was taken out to Lee’s Art Store with Maddox, and when they walked past the whole crowd was yelling out things like “Oh my god, look at the BABY! She’s an ANGEL!” when poor Maddox was right there too. At least this time around there will be two biological children, so it won’t be as big ‘news’ as the first time.

It’s as though Angelina kept getting more beautiful… I think she looks lovely. With all the things she does, it’s amazing she manages not to look worn out. It’s probably because she’s living the life she wants and because she and Brad are so happy together.
I think Brad’s outfit for the Independent Awards is a little silly. He reminds me of the pictures I’ve seen of Jon Voigt back in the 70s ! : )

Does anyone know how tall Brad is? Angie does not look short and even with heels, he is quite a bit taller. just curious, I assumed jen is shorter than Angelina. Anyone know the particulars??
They are just too cute together. She just seems like she is happier than at anytime in her life. When you have a jerk for a father it is really hard to trust a man and I think it took a while for her to trust and to drop that protective wall some of us develope.Losing her Mom and Brad really being there for her probably sealed the deal. I seriously doubt it’s been photoshopped/altered in any way. It’s from Wire Image and I don’t think they would risk their integrity by doctoring images.

Pregnancy suits her…she is pretty generally, but she really glows when she’s expecting. I’m sure they’re excited and Brad must be over the moon. To go from no kids to 5 (maybe 6) in 3 years must be so fulfilling for him, especially given the things he said about wanting to be a Dad in 2004. Coupled with sharing parenthood with a woman he seems to adore and I’m sure he feels extremely blessed.

I guess it’s difficult acknowledge that they were wrong on two count at least:
1) She got pregnant-even though they believed she wouldn’t ‘cos she doesn’t like her bio child
2) She didn’t sell her bump pictures like Lies Weekly said.
I believe she is just past her 1st trimester and it’s safe’ish now to announce it.

Oh sorry BlessAngelina for questioning it. Excuse me. The first pics I saw looked seriously photoshopped. I still wonder if some sites did make her bigger (PerezHilton) because I have not seen her look as big anywhere else as I did there. And you have to admit, it is a bit funny shaped in a couple pics. Some newer pics that have surfaced look much more normal shaped. So, just because some of us questioned, doesn’t mean it is done in ill-will.

I am NOT a detractor. If I was, I would hardly bother visiting this fan site.
I am a fan of Angelina Jolie and the pregnancy is very exciting news HOWEVER that does not mean I believe EVERYTHING I read and see.
I have seen doctored photos before. There was a famous case where a magazine did it to Kate Winslet (made her appear slimmer than she was) and I believe she sued them.
To be honest, unless I see an article in People magazine, I tend not to believe it.
I realise now (since seeing other photos) that her baby bump looked overly large because of the angle the photo was taken at.
I think I was also shocked at how big her bump was, that is why I thought they may be some trickery going on. She has certainly kept that well hidden, thought it would have shown through her other clothes.

First, this is not meant to sound negative towards anyone, so please don’t take it that way.
I don’t understand why we need something from Brad’s publicist to make it true. Why do we need a formal announcement at all. Brad’s publicist has never even acknowledged they are a couple either for that matter.
This is their announcment and it is good enough for me. They are both beautiful and best wishes to the entire family.

If you were genuine, then my statements don’t apply to you. However just as you have seen photoshopped pics (I actually read and saw the K. Winslett one first hand), I have read “opinions” by people who are more than they present themselves to be.

I never bought that again after that incident was first reported on, before the resolution.
AND really I suggest you be careful about the sites you frequent…everyone knows PerezH does not like Angie very much.

Eh guys. Let’s just keep it positive :)
Now, for Perez. Well, he’s schizo when it comes to Angie, but really, he does like her. The guy just feels the need to be snarky all the time, and at times, Angie receives that brunt. But that’s not often. Heh, so, I’d pay him no mind.
This is all so exciting. Yeah, I wonder how far along Angie is … She’s glowing.
And kudos to Brad for participating in the Jimmy Kimmel vid. Such a total surprise. Harrison Ford cracked me up, too.

Did anyone hear the Brad and Angie were not invited to the Oscars. I thought the show was boring. No fun people to watch and hear from. I did enjoy George, but who would not. Please respond
