Thanks for this latest post Sherry! I know Angie has worked with both Queen Noor & Queen Rania on humanitarian activities. She even helped inaugurate the 24th Arab Children’s Congress in 2004 which was held in Amman. I am praying for her safe and successful trip.
Hello to all the lovely J-P fans!

I hate that this is being reported now! Would have felt better if it was kept secret for her safety. God be with her on her trip.

I remember her wearing those awful boots in Paris. When she was pregnant with Shiloh, she wore very comfortable boots over there, and I remember those uglies. Love her and Bless her with God’s grace.

I’m sure Brad miss her already. I hope she comes back safely and fulfill her mission successfully. As far as turning on a computer, I hope she is joking because in M & M Smith, she is supposed to be very knowledgeable in technology and she looks like she can type very fast. Also, that answer regarding Jon Voight, if you check the interview with James Lipton in 2005, she said the same thing. There is a “rumor” that she had called Jon during the holidays and they wished each other well in private. She also mentioned this in one of her previous interviews that when they communicate again, it will be more private.

I have to say she doesn’t look very pregnant (even if she is) and I wonder if she wore the flowing dress to the awards night at least partly because it amuses her to have us all buzzing around! I think she has quite a sense of humour.

Would she do this pregnant? I guess she would. She went to Haiti when she was pregnant with Shiloh.

Why would she not go to Jordan when pregnant?
Pregnancy is NOT an illness.
Why would she not be safe?
Jordan is NOT that dangerous.
Why is everyone ALWAYS worried about something?
Do you people generally worry about anything OR would you rather prefer to enjoy your lives and do whatever you please and enjoy?

you can’t tell if Ange is pregnant or not in this pic anyway..the colour black makes it very hard to see any bulging tummy! I’ve read more about her being pregnant recently than any other time..did anyone else read that Ange is having twins due to IVF treatment??

I was looking at the pictures at X17 and I believe that her outfit is another very loose top. I is dressed down, probably because of where she is going and to be comfortable for the long flight. God Bless her and keep her safe. I have no idea why anyone would have anything bad to say about this women any longer. She is tireless in her effort to help others. She should be an example to other young stars that are having problems.

The only places I’ve seen stuff about possible twins/IVF treatment have been on the tabs’ front pages and their online equivalents - nowhere reputable.

Hi Trinity…
Are you familiar with CIA World Fact Book and the travel warnings the issue through TSA and the Federal travel agencies? You should check them out.
Thanks

Queenbee, thanks for being the Queen of VideoClips. ;-)
The interviews by the kids should be how all entertainment videos should be done. It’d be so much more informative, useful, and fun. They did their homework and asked intelligent questions.

One of the most dangerous things I do is drive a car – the statistics about car accidents says I’m far more likely to die while in a car than in a foreign country.
I’m from the Philippines – which is on the State Department’s Travel Warnings list. That’s probably because there’s been a Muslim independence movement in the south. From what I remember, there was a group that was supposed to be connected with Al Qaeda. And in a gruesome parallel to Daniel Pearl, there was a U.S. national (Filipino, I think, not white) who was kidnapped then beheaded when he wasn’t ransomed.
So do you think this stops 100,000s of tourists who visit the pristine white sand beaches likeJFK Jr. did, go scuba diving, see the festivals and scenery like the Baguio rice terraces? Do you think it stops the 100,000s of expatriate Filipinos from visiting their families? No, because unless people go to Mindanao, it’s safe.
Mexico is on the travel warning list – how many Americans (including celebrities) let that stop them from enjoying themselves there? For the most part, the trouble is confined to a geographical area – easy to avoid. Other tourist meccas on the warning list: Indonesia/Bali, Nepal, Israel, Saudi Arabia. France, Spain, England, Ireland, Germany were all on the list at times there was a civil war and acts of terrorism.
The State Dept. has travel warnings and alerts for good reason. The warnings & alerts are meant to insure that travelers are making informed decisions if they need or want to travel to hotspots. Kenya was a hot spot for tourism, now it’s just a hot spot – I doubt anyone would travel there unless they are journalists.
There’s a stereotype of Oakland as being dangerous & crime-ridden. It does have urban crime like all cities, it also has many more beautiful, peaceful places. You just have to do your homework. We all know San Francisco’s reputation – everyone wants to come visit and stay. But San Francisco also has its urban crime – you just have to do your homework and make wise choices.

Oops, forgot. Yes, Angelina can be safe in Jordan. And let’s remember that almost all of Angelina’s missions were in dangerous territory like Darfur. She’s like Lara Croft in that way.

Hey Susann, thats exactly what I thought. May they are so cosey not just because they are mad in love but also because they made a great joke with the voluminous dress. It would be a little revenge to the paps that are always stalking them haha.
I like the interviews done by the teens. They both seemed amazed to get interviewed by kids and took time for them, realy lovely (I wish I would have been the interviewer ;))
As for Jordan. I think compared to Dafur it is a very safe place. A friend of mine has just been there last year. Jordan must be a beautiful coutry with a very old village in the sand, the ancient city is called Petra. You might have seen it in Indiana Jones, … think she will have a nice time there and hopefully she will get to see Petra.

HI, Ligaya! I’m from Mindanao in the Philippines currently residing in the US. Sorry to say that there’s some misinformation about Mindanao. It is not as bad as what people think. It’s been stereotyped as a moslem area thus it’s not safe. Not all people in that region are moslems, the president had made a visit there more than once. I think that insurgencies are spread out in our country. The part where I live( in fact I’ve been home to visit from US more than 10 times), is peaceful and beautiful. I would be more concerned if you travel further south, though. Even so, it’s beautiful in there, I heard, and a shame coz people hesitate to visit because of it’s reputation. This is not a hate response, just an educational correction esp. when your statement is “unless people go to Mindanao, visit to Philippines is safe”, which is not true at all. Tourism is booming in Surigao which is becoming the next Boracay and surfing there beats the one in Hawaii(international competitions are held there), Butuan is known for it’s antiques , Davao for it’s Pearl farm and Durian, Cagayan/Bukidnon for its pineapple export, etc. You should go yourself and visit. Peace!

Well said, Ligaya
to Carrie:
Yes, I am very familiar with this list thank you!
You guys really believe that there is only safe places in the US, right?
This is, I am afraid I have to tell you this, mainly because you do not know a thing about the rest of the world.
A place in the world like the US, where people grow up being told they have to watch their steps and keep their belongings at all times of course are not prepared to live a normal live in the real world!
As for the comment of Angelina being pulled together after an eight hours flight.
What is so remarkable about this?
Ever been on an eight hours flight?
When you go in business or first class it is actually very relaxing, you get a comfortable bed and lots of delicious food and drinks.
So I am asking, why would she NOT look relaxed after this?
People on this blog have ridicolous comments when it comes to Angie.
Everyone seems to admire EVERYTHING about her, no matter how normal and not even worth a comment those things are.
She is not a superhero - she is a normal working mum of 4 with a not so normal job of course.
She hops on planes, she goes to meetings, she looks after her family and she does humanitarian work. Which of course is a sensible thing to do for someone being exposed and hunted by the public so fiercely.
But still that’s what many mothers do in their everyday lives.
Of course not the lives of a soccer mums who do car pools in saggy sweatpants and other than watching television and placing silly comments on blogs like this one there is not much going on in their lives.
But, most of us people who do also read this blog occasionally, we do not live lives where our whole universe circulates around a small duplex with a white picket fence and some dirty diapers and the gossip with the neighbors.

Ange is in Iraq, she has a CNN interview by Damon Arwa. She tried to stir some questions to Ange but she stops her & said stick to the topic. Ange is definitely pregnant, she doesn’t want to answer any questions about her being pregnant. I hope, she is on her way back to the US by now. God bless her.

Just Me, I bow to your current & superior knowledge. Mindanao has lots of charms, including national parks, I think. I forgot the insurgents in Samar (Guiuan is my home town). When we visited, my relatives said there were both pro- & anti-insurgent in town and everybody knew who everybody was. We paid ransoms on a couple of visits as protection money.
Mindanao is famed for its beauty. Everybody in my family in Luzon & the Visayas told us not to visit Mindanao because it was too dangerous. One of my uncles has lived there for decades and we decided to visit anyway. We felt safe because there hadn’t been any bombings in Davao. Then Davao’s airport got bombed so we postponed our visit.
There are probably many safe & beautiful places in Mindanao - you just have to know where to go and where not to. It’s like everywhere, including Oakland & San Francisco, there are safe places and unsafe places. You jut have to be knowledgeable.

Trinity, I found your last two paragraphs to be really offensive. I am still trying to figure out, if you have such a small opinion of most people why do you even waste your time coming to a site like this, reading the comments and then wasting your time responding.

She did not fly FIRST class. The ticket in her hand in London proves this.
We admire her because she DOESN’T have to do these things, and it’s not her duty to do it as you suggest. There are others who don’t do what she does, even though they have taken on titles similar to hers.
I really don’t get your point in venting like this…
