Angelina Jolie signs adoption t-shirt

by Sherry on November 6th, 2007

While at the Beowulf premiere yesterday, Angelina Jolie noticed that one of her fans had a cute t-shirt that said “Adopt me, Angelina!” on it. Being a good sport, she went over to the group of fans and posed for photos in between signing autographs. Before leaving, she stopped long enough to sign the “Adopt me, Angelina” t-shirt for the fan.

Proof that she is exceptionally cool and she doesn’t take her fans for granted. Here’s the video footage of Angelina Jolie interacting with her fans. (Flash required)

you know guys? I am from Turkey and you can’t ever imagine how much I admire the ones who live in the major cities of USA. You have a probibility to see angie and brad. You know I would do anything just to be in the place of that girl who has “adopt me angelina ” shirt. She hugged our angie!!! Can you believe it?!! And I saw that angie hold her breath when another girl hugged her have u seen it? I read about that in one of her interviews. She said that she was uncomfortable about someone hugging her and that she hold her breath. Have u watched her interview with ET? I was hopeful but by The way she talked about the pregnancy rumors we can understand that she is not actually pregnant. I wish she was:( You know I dont know why but I wanna see this “crazy big family” as angie says, growing and gloving day by day. I wanna see many more children around them, both biological and adopted. But I definitely want the fifth one to be biological!!! I think This time It will be a boy and thus the next step will be to adopt a baby girl just as zahara from Africaaa!!:) I wrote too much maybe, but I cant stop myself. I wanna scream how much I love this family. only if I could see them for a second!!! I am so desperate about this!! somebody help me:) ANGELINA PLEASE ADOPT MEEEEEE TOO:)

I admire Angie more, she really gives in to the fans & even hugged her what a lucky fan. Brad looks like he doesn’t sleep but still attend the premiere to support his love. What a trooper & that shows he really love Angie & support her 100 %. At Extra, Angie said they are ready & getting there. I always love to see them at the red carpet, I don’t know if they both attend the premiere after party. Lovely pictures. Thanks Sherry.

    Welcome, Irem!

Hee, gave the male version of that t-shirt to hubby for his 60th birthday - he gets lots of good reactions.

Irem, I’ve wanted to be right behind the gate too, to see Angelina up close & maybe, maybe get an autograph. But I might be the only one my age there (unless Mary Ann joins me). I’m not brave enough. Maybe if there was a group of fans my age and we came up with a snappy name & poster…

USA Today reports HALLOWEEN AT THE JOLIE-PITTS:

Rather, Star Wars and furry animals seem to be all the rage in the Jolie-Pitt home, as evidenced by last week’s Halloween costume selections. Said Jolie: “We were Boba Fett (Maddox, 6). My littlest daughter (Shiloh, 17 months), we couldn’t figure out if she was a bunny or a monkey, so she was a ‘bunkey.’ My 2-year-old (Zahara) was a bunny, and my 3-year-old (Pax) was a monkey. I was Curious George and Daddy (Pitt) was a Stormtrooper.”

I love this! Hubby & I are huge Star Wars fans, and so are a lot of our family - grandnephews 2-6 y.o. were Yoda, Darth Vader & a Padawan Jedi for Halloween. Every Halloween, hubby is Darth Vader. We’ve even gone to a couple of Star Wars conventions. We saw Angelina in person at a talk about Lara Croft at Comic-Con 2002.

Hi Ligaya, Sherry and all JP fans,
I saw the video of this at JJ too earlier. What a lucky woman. And she saw Brad and the Bodyguard too. When Angie stepped out near the fence, the bodyguard went with her. Ligaya, I will search at JJ and post the site link that I was talking about. They are behind the scenes photos of Angie and Maddox while filming MMS. A fan from the JJ site asked the duration of dates when MMS was filmed.

Ligaya, it is taking me a long time to search the JJ archives too so I went to this site http://souliejolie.com/article.php?id=33 and click on Angie with Maddox, Zahara, Pax, then select 2004. I only found one when they were headed at the set of MMS but there are plenty of other cute pictures of them everywhere. If you go to 2003 (Egypt photos with Colin) 2005 photos with Brad too.

Thanks a lot Ligaya for your support! I am sure if you stood right there she would saw you and come near by to sign an autograph for you. She is such a generous lady. I am sure she loves and respects people at your age but wait I think you have the youngest soul here at this site:) thanks again. cant wait for angie to recieve that award!!!

Ligaya I told Lori under Rumor watch that I am not the type to approach them or stand out side their home, but your idea of a group of us seniors with a snappy name and poster sounds interesting. But then I would have to worry about my children thinking I competely flipped. I am a big fan of Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez and when I told my family I would love to go to their tour, I saw all three of them roll their eyes. I guess they think I have gone around the bend in my old age. But you know what this is what keeps us young in our minds. The body is old, the mind is still wanting to be young.

Mary Ann, I think we are the same age, I never been Brad & Angie fan before but less than a year ago, I suddenly found myself their fan, I was searching the internet & I was drawn to 2 sites that I frequently visits after work of course or on my spare time on my day off. I admire them for their humanitarian & being down to earth in their A list status very seldom you will see actors now a days with that kind of attitude towards the fans or have time to do charity works. They are really & truly an amazing couple. Until now, I never miss watching their movies & read everything positive about them, I don’t buy anymore tabloids that criticize them. I am not that kind of fan who will be stalking them, I am happy to see them in pictures & maybe will be much happier to see them in person but just in a distance will be fine with me, I will keep my happiness to myself & be content with that. I hope, they are resting after these past few days, their schedules are so hectic, you can tell that both of them are tired specially Brad. God bless them.

Thanks, Lucy for all your looking - I know the time it takes.

Mary Ann, you know about the Deadheads (when Jerry Garcia was still alive), don’t you? Their fans of all ages followed them around. Sometimes I think the generation younger than us are more conservative. ;-) I know of quite a few 30-some mothers who FLY to their fave bands’ concerts around the U.S. It’s part of feminine empowerment - daring to be wild women.

P.S. Why shouldn’t you go see Marc Antony & Jennifer Lopez live? It’s your life, follow your dreams. It’s your kids’ turn to give to you - tickets, transportation, lodging. You’re not getting any younger, kid. :-) Life is too short - especially for us - to pass up what you love.

Brad and Angie are humanitarians because they’ve seen the other side of things by working intimatelly with other cultures through their movies, so I don’t think its fake at all, another thing is that people don’t really care or appreciate being a humanitarian, we are stuck in our own little world. ppl on a celebrity and millionaire dating site called (Millionairematch.com/photo/bloger) are talking about you.

Ligaya, how are you today? I just wanted to set the record straight. My three children and spouses treat me like a queen. I truly know that I am loved and respected. They appreciate every thing their Dad and I did to have them grow up as wonderful, loving people. I never expressed an interest when I was younger to go to concerts etc. so they find this not like me. They all enjoy being with their Dad and Mom and there is alot teasing when we are all together talking about the past.
