Angelina Jolie’s Coat at Beowulf Premiere
I often get quite a handful of emails from people who want to know who Angelina Jolie is wearing, especially to special events when she’s a bit more dressed up. A lot of people seemed to love her beautiful beige coat at the Beowulf premiere and wanted to know who designed it.
The coat is by Escada, and is part of the Escada Group collection. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it online (the company’s official site seems to be more for investor relations) but I’m sure it’s not cheap, not if it looks that nice and that well-made!
I also frequently get asked about the watch she wears. I don’t currently have any information, so if anyone knows, I’d love if you could share!
I hope Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be finishing up in Los Angeles soon. I miss the casual photos of the two of them and the kids, and unfortunately the paparazzi, bad as they may be elsewhere, are relentless in L.A., hence the reason we haven’t seen much of them unless absolutely necessary. I’d love to see them go back to New Orleans for a little while, where they did get photographed (ahh, the memories of those gorgeous boots Angie wore when she and Brad took Shiloh and Zahara for a walk in that double stroller earlier this year), but it was a little less insane - then we’d get the best of both worlds by having a bit of peace for them all combined with just enough photos of the Jolie-Pitt family to please the fans.

On another topic - Sherry, can you start a thread for Beowulf? My husband and I saw it last night, awesome in 3D!! Our girl Angie was so cool. I was very disappointed that she had only about 15 mins screen time, although she was definitely central to the story. Great movie, go see it!

The outfit the model is wearing with the gray dress pants and white blouse is definitely something I can see Angelina wearing. I wouldn’t be surprised if she already owns the whole ensemble.
I too miss the casual pics we saw in New Orleans. That was the closest to normal they’ve been and its awful nice to see.

In response to the watch inquiry, I’m not saavy on what Angelina wears day-to-day but I do know she favors the iTOUCH by Tissot. She wore it in Tomb Raider (where it was first featured) and in Mr. & Mrs. Smith (featured again). We admired it so much that my hubby went out and got one!

I’ve been a fan and frequenlty reading all the fan input in this site. Today I can’t resist not to say a few words. We did see the movie Beowulf it was awesome…(even though it was a few scene of Angelina). My friends comment the moral story of the movie “Don’t mess with Angelina Jolie”.

The coat looks nice on her, I hope, she wears different color aside from black & white all the time.
Off topic, Brad pulled out of State Of Play movie. That’s very good, now they will have all the time in the world to relax & be with their kids. I hope, Angie gets pregnant while they are on their vacation.God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

Sherry, if I am not mistaken, Angie has two watches by Cartier. One has a brown leather strap (there were some older pictures of her wearing this in your UNHCR series pictures), the other one is definitely the white and yellow gold Tank Francaise series watch. The first one by the look of it is also a Tank but that I am not entirely sure.

I don’t know anything about expensive watches, except for ROLEX but I do know that Escada is a famous and expensive brand designer. Although I met a Filipina bridal designer. She is quite famous now. Her name is Monique Lluhlier (spelling). She has a shop at Beverly Hills and I believe in Minnesota. I’m sure this jacket and the whole ensemble is pricey starting at $5,000. Anyway, yes Brad pulled out of State of Play. I hope the paps will give them a break for the holidays. Happy Thanksgiving JP fans.

Passerby, the black one shown in the picture in your link is not Cartier - I can’t tell what it is. It’s certainly a sports looking watch - my absolutely wild guess might be Tissot. But that’s a long shot.

The Tissot AJ wore in Lara Croft and Mr & Mrs Smith is called T-Touch not i - Touch!
I can’t help but this coat just looks awful on her. It is far too long and it looks also a bit oversized.
It certainly looks way better on the runway model.
This time - bad choice Angelina!

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I wonder what the Jolie-Pitt house is like on Holidays? Do they go to Brad’s parents? Does James Haven come over and Angie cook a big ole Turkey and all the trimmings? With such diverse ethnicity in their family, do they celebrate American holidays or celebrate ALL holidays of every ethnic background? Interesting thing to think about, anyone else from a blended ethnic family–Please chime in.
One thing I’m sure though, they teach their children love, tolerance, and the spirit of being thankful for everything they have.
