Angelina Jolie’s potential new movie
Variety magazine is reporting that Angelina Jolie’s newest film project may be “The Changeling” with Clint Eastwood directing.
The production would start in late 2007. According to cinematical.com, the story is based on actual events in L.A. in the 1920s but the movie may take a contemporary approach instead. According to the site:
Jolie’s role will be that of a woman whose son is abducted and then returned — but she thinks the child that’s returned is not hers. Somehow this leads into a revelation of deep-seated corruption in the LAPD.
The project is not fully realized yet, Angie is still in talks about it. In the meantime, she’ll be seen as Marianne Pearl in “The Mighty Heart”, and then in the film version of “Beowulf”. She’s also booked to star in an adaptation of “Atlas Shrugged”.
Sounds like Mom will be busy!

Variety article noted that the movie would start in 2008. Angelina is finished with Beowulf and A Mighty Heart. Altas is still in the writing phrase and until the script is finished no one knows it the movie will ever get made. Angelina does not have anything on the docket. So this movie would fit right into her schedule.

Actually Lac, Variety said the “Plan is to start production later this year.” Which means probably aim for release 2008/9.
Angelina has been very careful about the films she gets involved in because of the time factor, she doesn’t want to be away too long from her family.
I do hope she does this though, Eastwood directing…WOW!

yup! i wish she will work with clint eastwood as well. it would be amazing.
but i read somewhere, that BP and Tom Cruise are ‘fighting’ to get the copyright for atlas shrugged, and both of them want their partners to play the role. don’t know wether the story is true or not.
