Angelina Jolie’s St. John ads
A lovely reader named Vicki sent me the link to an entire album full of Angelina Jolie’s ad campaigns for St. John. It’s nice to have them all in one place, there are a couple in there I hadn’t seen yet, including the one I put up here.
As always, the campaign is classy yet sexy.

In other news, I’m buried under comments here on the site and emails sent directly to me asking if it’s true that Brad and Angelina have broken up or are on the verge of splitting. Others want to know why I’m not addressing all these stories.
1. I will not link to and glamorize tabloid trash sites like Life & Style by bothering to discuss the stories they publish.
2. Almost every one of these publications on or offline alternates regularly between stories that claim Brad and Angelina are getting married, adopting again, pregnant, or splitting up. They just recycle the same stories over and over again because they’re high interest celebrities and they know their names and photos sell.
3. All these stories cite “inside sources” and “close friends” but never have any actual real names or recent photos; they all recycle old photos because they have nothing showing these alleged troubled times.
4. Is it possible that Brad and Angelina are fighting? Of course it is, they’re not gods, they’re human. I fight with my husband regularly because we’re both strong-willed individuals who do not agree on everything despite loving each other. Does it mean we’re about to split up just because we fight sometimes? No. So even if any one of these so-called fights is real, it means nothing other than they’re human. (And for what it’s worth that’s what also irks me when people say “oh he’s/she’s not smiling in these pictures, must be trouble in their relationship!” Again, I’m very happy with my husband, but I don’t walk around with a huge smile every second of the day because that would be, you know, weird!)
5. There has been nothing to report about Brad and Angelina lately. This is because as far as we last know, they are on a family vacation somewhere in Europe. I’ve heard rumours that they’re in Nice, France but I don’t know this for sure. I do know that if they’re trying to enjoy some quiet family time then they’re probably trying to lay low and avoid paparazzi intrusions. This means I have nothing very recent to offer you and unfortunately this also means the tabloids are desperate and need to make up something to sell their magazines.
6. People magazine is one of the most reliable and trusted entertainment news sources out there. There is absolutely nothing on their site talking about a string of crazy fights or break-ups between Brad and Angelina. If People reports it, I’ll believe it. If they don’t, then I will continue to believe that the tabloids are full of you-know-what.
I know that people are concerned, but really, I don’t think we need to worry unless one of their PR people or People magazine says otherwise! :)

seen two people that have been scrutinized by the
press and the tabloids. I really think they really need to back off.

I read your site regularly Sherry. What you do on your web pisses off life & style because nobody buys their stuff. Anyone on his/her right mind will not that TRASH!!! Keep it up, my prayers is for a lot of people to watch movies of Brad & Angelina because that they share their wealth.
Did you not notice that Mrs. Brad Pitt is not so materialistic? She seems so contented with whatever situation and environment she has, for as long as it will not harm their children, right? Very down to earth and perky witty. Does that trait mean “immature” accdg. to L&S? She shows when she is happy and sad and in love!

I am very glad they are having some privacy to do whatever they want. I love these clothes and have been excercising to look better in good clothes. Smart of St John to use Anjelina in their ads, she will inspire the young to look elegant and inspire the oldies like me to keep up (as best as we can). In these photos she reminds me of fashion icon Jackie Kennedy Onasis. I totally agree with you (your article) and I really like your site, it is very serene. I think for my B-day I will get one of these suits. God bless Anjelina and Brad!

Thank-you Sherry, RE: “break-up” gossip. I would think by now every-one would have figured out that it all about explortation to sell magazines, etc.
I don’t undertand those sites that call themselves “fan sites” yet post the unsubstantiated lies. Thank-you for not falling prey to such demeaning non=sense on your site.

Thanks for clearing that up. Were you a journalist before? or are you one? You wrote that incredibly as if to satisfy all of the Brangelina fans of the fake rumors [which was basically what you intended]. I actually felt good after reading that because it convinced me that they are not breaking up any time soon and they are truly enjoying a nice vacation. I don’t really know your name but I see everyone calling you Sherry so that is what I will call you. Thanks Sherry!

They are extraordinary people with simple pleasures. why cant some people accept that? Why does citizens from 1st world countries takes pleasure in destroying something that is good like Brad and Angelina Pitt? Have you not noticed that Mrs. Brad Pitt in her interviews and pictorials is not materialistic and shows when she is happy, grieving and in love! Even with her prior relations, she says whats in her head!

Thank you Sherry. I ,like you does not read life & style or In touch for the simple fact that this magazines hated The JOLIE-PITT’S FAMILY’ WHY? BECAUSE WHEN SHILLO WAS BORN THIS TWO MAGAZINE DID NOT HAVE THE PRIORITY OF HAVING THE FIRST TO FEATURE THE BABY, ANGELINA INSTEAD GIVE PEOPLE MAGAZINE THE FIRST BABY PHOTO’S AND THE RIGHTS TO INTERVIEW THEM. SINCE THEN LIFE & STYLE IS REALLY TRYING HARD TO BREAK UP THIS LOVELY FAMILY, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? I BELIEVE IN KARMA, SOMEDAY THOSE EVIL PEOPLE WILL BE PUNISH BY SOMEONE WHO IS WATCHING US EVERYDAY . Thanks Sherry for a true fan site! I like what you said about the fighting. I to have a husband who I love very much and he loves me and we also fight! I would hate to see what some of the “press” would say about us if we were followed everywhere.

Just Jared has found the Jolie-Pitts! They are still in France. It is printed that they are buying a chateau and a vinyard. There are 20 pics of Angie, Brad, Zee and Shi boarding a plane and also pics of the chateau and the vinyard. It appears that they may have changed locations due to being found out by the papz. Brad and Angie are smiling, look well rested and Brad looks tanned.
Also one of the fans said that in “US Weekly” their rep “Cindy” said that they are doing fine and she doesn’t know why the tabs keep printing about them breakin up!
Glad they are doing fine.

Also one of posters on JustJared said that Australia is releasing a stamp with a pic of Brad, Angie and Shiloh on it! They feel it will become a collectors item. Wonder if this is true; an article was reference but I don’t know how to link. Wonder how Angie will feel about this if it is true!

Also, a post was in Just Jared of a journal article “Nice is Noice”,by Aquarianj on July 30, 2007 with a description of her visit to Nice. She was in Aix en Provance at language school. “I am now in Aix en Provance at language school which is good but challenging. Not much to report as yet apart from my major celebrity sighting yesterday- we were having lunch at a restaurant close to our school and the watress told us that Brad Pitt , Angelina Jolie and Shiloh were at the pattiserie next door. Of course I had to check it out so went and bought something & it was indeed them!!! She is quite skinny and was waeqring a black dress & sunnies, and he had a hat & sunnies on. The baby is gorgeous (of course) and interestingly they were alone- no body guards or paparazzi. For this reason I didn’t take any pics it does mean that it IS possible to get away from cameras, but maybe its just in France. Anyway, we saw them pack up their car & drive away , just like any other family. And yes it was them, I saw her tattoos & heard her speak to Shiloh.
It was at the site travel blog The writer was Angela Johnston , the article also contains other writings about her visit to Nice ,etc and pictures of her with her friend.

I think in France, they have more privacy! It seems that in the small villages people leave them alone.
That is nice! I think this why Angie likes Europe more!

AMEN to that, Sherry. Those trash tabs are truly unreliable anyway. Obviously the new photos show they are very much together.
As for Angie’s St. John’s ads, what can I say, she’s really gorgeous. I love her eyes. I don’t particularly like the photo when she’s in the car (the one where she’s got some sort of hat on), but the one with the flowers, for some reason, i really, really like. She’s such a beauty.
