Angelina’s Mom (Marcheline Bertrand) has come to France

Actress Angelina Jolie has flown her cancer-stricken mother from Los Angeles to France so she can be with her when Brad Pitt’s baby is born.

Jolie brought her mother, French actress Marcheline Bertrand, to Paris but the family — including Pitt and their two adopted children — left for the south of France to escape bad weather, the Sun reported Wednesday.

“Angelina is very close to her mother and she so wanted her to be there for the birth,” a source told the newspaper. “Angelina has been having regular check-ups at a hospital in Paris and it is expected that she will give birth within the next few weeks.”

    The next few weeks? That can’t be right - I thought she was due in May? BTW did you see the pics of her and Maddox yesterday - her boobs are huge! Anyway…..she looked beautiful as always. And Maddox was rockin’ the mohawk again…soooo cute!!!!

    This are fake news. Marcheline isn´t so ill. It´s just anothrer re-hash from the old news. If she were then why would Angie be in Europe for so long. Also a dying person can travell abroad, at least without a whole parafernalia accompanying herand medical staff.

    UPI is a pretty reliable source. Sick people can be flown with the right medical care to anywhere.

    The source is not UPI, Dee. The source is the Sun. Yhese news are older. Plus the Sun reported two days ago.

    Well, I have seen it reported in several newspapers in the past 2 days….they cannot ALL be unreliable…and I do not understand why its a problem in the first place if she flew her mom there…I think its great

    Jolie’s mother is of french-canadian descent. she was born in the good old usa. i don’t know where people get this garbage, she doesn’t know french from the chinese.

    Why focus on the stupid details…who cares of she is French, American, or Chinese….the important thing is that she is near her daughter when she gives birth.

    Here is an excerpt from Angelina Jolie’s Allure magazine interview Nov 200, and I hope it finally puts to rest “at least on Pittwatch” this urban legend regarding Marceline Bertrand, mother of Angelina Jolie.

    “extremely close to her mother, who is often wrongly identified as a French actress. “My mom is as far from French Parisian as you can get,” Jolie says. “She’s part Iroquois Indian, from Chicago. She grew up in a bowling alley that my grandparents owned.”
