Angelina’s Mother

I haven’t been able to find an answer to this, but did her mother die? I remember she was quite ill around the time Shiloh was born, with cancer, and they were even considering staying by her side for the birth at one point, but did she die?

I knew all of you would be the ones to know this for sure. ;)

    I’m guessing that her mother must have gone into remission or that her condition has stabilized. If Angelina’s mother had passed on it would have been in the news.

    Dang Robyn! Ok, I don’t expect a board owner to know everything about it’s main subject, but dang! Don’t you at least think this would be big news if that happened? I’m sorry, but this has me scratching my head something fierce because I’d think you’d know this since it is a board about BP, and since AJ IS a big part of the dudes life, her mom dying would be at least mentioned somewhere if not on a board about the guy. sheesh!

    Anon,
    I just started writing this in October. I heard she was on her death bed back when Shiloh was born, so I thought I had missed it when it occurred.

    I guess I could have emailed the former writer, but I knew the readers of this blog were as knowledgable about the couple as anyone I know, so I didn’t think anyone would mind answering.

    #3 Anon - no need to get so nasty - at least Robyn has the guts to admit when she doesn’t have the answer and see if anyone else does, instead of pretending she knows… you don’t seem to have an answer for sure either…

    Only the tabs have mentioned the Angelina’s mom was ill. (People mag article about Shiloh’s birth had quotes from Marchline but nothing about her so call illness) So we don’t even know if her illness is true. What we do know is that Angelina is very close to her mother and if she were actually as sick as the tabs wrote than she would not have spend months in France and Namibia. Also she would not have gone to India.

    She is not dead. She is still undergoing chemo at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Brad had lunch with her when he was in Los Angeles for the Babel premiere in West Hollywood. She still lives at the Beverly Hills Heritage Hotel and communicates with her grandchildren via cam computer. Angie’s brother James Haven takes care of her when Angie is out of town. Angie visited her before they left for India when Angie was followed by paps in her range rover.

    Oh, and I have to add, that I wouldn’t have gotten 1/2 of the stories I have gotten here were it not for your tips, so nasty Anon aside, I very much appreciate your help and tips.

    Pittwatch is really a community, not just a blog. Christina did a great job building this blog and you guys are just wonderful! :P

    I’m here - just absolutely working my hiney off, and we lost my mother in law this month, so socializing has been at a bare minimum. Thanks for the compliments - I love you guys. :)

    According to the tabs, Marcheline Bertrand has been in chemo therapy months before Shiloh was born. However, as someone who worked in oncology told me, all those months of chemo therapy and you’d be dead from chemo therapy by now. I’m not an oncologist but from contact with friends who have had breast cancer or cancer of the uterus, chemotherapy is grueling and your body can’t actually take it for 12 months. Actually, there are periods of rest between chemo sessions.

    So, she may be in recission. She may have gone through chemo therapy. But one thing for sure - she isn’t dying of cancer.

    Actually Angelina has said more than once that her mother is fine. When asked back in July 2005 if her mother was ill she responded “no she’s not.”

    So until she says or wants something else known otherwise, I’m inclined to believe her.

    July 2005? That’s a long time ago. There are confirmed reports that her month was undergoing chemo during the summer.

    Sounds like she’s doing better but she was quite sick earlier this year.
