Ann Curry to discuss something “important” with Angelina Jolie

Ann Curry has spent a great deal of time talking with both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. She’s not done yet either – she has an interview set up with Angelina sometime in the near future, though she didn’t specify when. We’ll all have to keep our ears pressed to NBC to find out when this is all meant to happen.
Ann did speak to OK! magazine about both Brad and Angelina and had nothing but good things to say about the two of them.
About Angelina Jolie as a person:
“I like her a lot. I see her as a very smart person, a very compassionate person who does movies.”
About the way Brad and Angelina use their power for good:
“What I love is that when you talk to actors you know the good they can do – it’s really touching because there are so many reasons why they could be just selfish and focus on themselves, but they’re not. When very very powerful people like Angie and Brad are focused on lovely projects that really change peoples lives you just want to applaud them, it’s just fantastic.”
I love hearing people in the media who know Brad and Angelina either as friends or colleagues or interviewers who express such positive things about them. That’s really what people need to remember when the tabloid headlines and the sleazy bloggers and the haters start to trash-talk the couple – don’t let it get you down because those are all people who don’t know Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie at all. Those that do know them and who have worked with or interacted with them have had so many wonderful things to say.
However, Ann Curry seems most interested in a future conversation she seems set on having with Angelina:
“In fact I may be talking to Angie coming up very soon. It’s something important and I’m excited to see her again.”
So here’s where we get to discussing! What do you suppose the “important” something is? I don’t know if I would count on it being an adoption. While we know they want more children and do intend to adopt I don’t know if Ann would be in the know about it, but you never know! If Angelina is adopting from an area that needs help, she might be willing to talk about it – if it’s already in the final stages of the whole process – in order to bring attention to the country in question.
World Refugee Day is June 20th this year, so I’m actually wondering if maybe that’s the big event that Ann wants to talk about. She traveled to Namibia in the past to talk to Angelina about her efforts to ensure education for all children around the world, so it could very well be something along those lines. I know I’d love to hear about it!
What do you suppose the big “important” topic is?
(And let’s hope she doesn’t stroke Angie’s face like she did with Brad!)

It’s probably about a big fund raiser they probably have planned. Angie said any new kids have to be a year old before any process can begin. I saw the video online from E-Online with the people editor and it looks good. It seems you were right Sherri. I was just worried that people would say it’s all an act. But we know the Jolie-Pitts would survive this and anything else the world throws at them. They are a solid family. Love them.
Some fans said, Cooper will also have an interview with Angie on June 18. Ann Curry will probably be talking about Angie’s next project with Marriane Pearl. It could be a big project about humanitarian works, as of now, we are just guessing. I will keep my ears open when & where it will take place. I can’t wait.God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

I, for one, am so glad the entertainment media (i.e., People, US Weekly, OK, Access Hollywood, E, etc.) put a kabash on the split & other rumors. The rumors were truly getting out of hand and ridiculous.
Anyway…thanks Sherry for the new thread. There are so many projects Angie’s involved with that Anne could be talking to her about anything. But I have a feeling it might involve World Refugee Day since it’s coming up very soon. Then again we haven’t heard anything about the clinic they planned to build in Ethiopia. I’d love to know how that project is coming along. I was very impressed with their Maddox Chivan Children’s Center in Cambodia.

smart interviewers like Ann Curry know they can get Angie & Brad’s attention if they have something ‘close-to-their-heart’ to promote, ie. humanitarian issues. And I’ve noticed before that Ann always ‘pops-in’ a question about the children before the interview finishes. SOooo – maybe, maybe everyone will get a reward outta this upcoming event!! I agree Sherry, I hope no face stroking either! I was wondering if there might be a chance that Angelina and Brad let these crazy rumors go in all kinds of directions on purpose and maybe possibly fuel the fire. Then once each tabloid article is proven wrong (by a birth or adoption or the two of them showing the world in Cannes how much in love they are) people start to question any article coming out that is filled with rumors, “sources said” etc. it makes it harder and harder for anyone to believe any of them. Eventually, people will quite buying the “rags” that write such stupid things. It’s a great way to discredit every magazine out there publishing lies! Just a thought.
I like Ann Curry’s interviews with Brad and Angie.Maybe sometimes she wants to know more about their kids than their movies but she knows where to stop.And cause she a huge fun(I think that is obvious),she is always excited to do an interview with them and she does her best to make it a great interview!
Now,I don’t know what the important thing is.Brad and Angie are involved in so many important things that it is hard to guess.I’m looking forward for that interview though!

About the “important topic”, I guess I have to agree with Irma! It’s about the “Resilient” movie which would be at 2010. Heard about it last February, and Angie is said to be the executive producer of the film. The film is about the stories of strong women from different countries, according to reports. Mariane Pearl will interview five women who have overcome tough odds to bring about change in their communities. Unison Films will release the movie next year, according to reports.
It’s a great film and really, can’t wait to see it! maybe it would be like “beyond borders” of Angie. Which shows humanitarian workers life, really love that movie. I cried when I saw how Angie cared for that almost dying African boy.
I’m looking forward too about a little question about the kids specially the twins!! maybe the twins are already 1 year old when Ann Curry will do the interview. yehey! can’t wait to see it!

Anderson Cooper of CNN also has a great deal of respect for Angelina. I agree with all of you that it might have something to do with World Refugee Day. I am waiting for the mail person to get here with my People magazine. Brad and Angie on the cover and an article about all the lies.
Ann Curry love to interview them both,she got a little carried away with Brad but he is so sweet,who would’nt get carried away. I have no clue as to what Angie and Ann will talk about maybe, Refugee Day; maybe,the twins,or as someone said the Clinic in Africa; who know we all should wait and see.
I will be getting People Mag this week they try to tell the truth or they don’t print anything about them. I am happy that some ligit Entertainment show are dispelling the rumors and lies. I will go with PEOLPE because Brad and Angie trust them with thier kids pic twice, also remember the Times Article on them, People came out in thier defense. I do also agree with Sherry explaination we just have trust someone sometime, although it so hard.

i just got my copy of People and it says there that the split rumor got fanned when the couple was rarely snapped together and that the evidence that things have gotten messy between the couple is when Brad showed up on L.I. Salt set and celebrated Angie’s 34th bday on June 5th – which is a day after her real bday. People also debunked fact vs. rumor such as:
1. ADOPTION – “for now, no new additions to the family are on the horizon”
2. CANNES – although some insist that they always quarel in Cannes, witnesses says the opposite. “they had a wonderful time. Brad and Angie we’re lovely” and that they were holding each other’s hand and kissed on the steps. – accdg. to the restaurant’s manager.
3. BRAD VISITED JEN – “It didn’t happen” – JP insider. “Visits never took place” – Aniston’s rep.
4. JANE DISLIKES ANGIE AND URGES BRAD TO LEAVE HER – Jane and Bill who recently spent time with their grandkids on L.I. are close to Angelina.
5. ANGIE SHUNNING FOOD – Jolie had been known to drink protein shakes while on movie shoots. In addition to eating regular meals, she also recently snacked on a bday cake.
it also mentioned there that Brad and the kids visits Angie on the set and the last time they went, “the kids brought their dog.” and they were together on Salt’s NY wrap party last June 7 (it says there 2 days after Brad celebrated Angie’s bday on the set). and that he also gave Angie an inscribed jewelry on mother’s day.

a part of moneyball will be filmed in oakland, not all. most of moneyball will be shot in L.A
just like angelina went to albany for a few days, but SALT was mainly shot in NYC.
if angelina wanted to be as far away from brad as possible, why move to the same state (california)? angelina could move to france or new orleans.
the whole family is moving to L.A so be together, yeah there might be a few days when brad has to stop over in oakland, but brad will be mostly in L.A and able to go home to angie and kids. peace
