Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie among the 20 “Celebs Gone Good”?

There are often polls all over magazines and blogs to vote for the most beautiful actress or the hottest actor, and those are fun but when it all comes down to it, it’s just superficial. There’s a new poll you can vote in that has some more substance to it. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are on the list for the 20 Celebs Gone Good.
The poll was put together by DoSomething.org, a website dedicated to getting people to, well, do something to make a difference. Whether it’s donating to charities or getting involved in activism to help people, they believe everyone can do something to make the world just a little bit of a better place.
DoSomething.org is honoring celebrities who have gone the extra mile to get involved in some way. Naturally, Brad and Angelina are on the list, along with a great deal of other big names in Hollywood. You can go over here to see the full list and you can nominate those that you believe should be in the top 20 of celebrities who are doing something good out there.
It’s not surprise that Brad and Angelina have been nominated for the activism and charity that makes up a huge part of their lives. Even Parade.com lists them as one of the top celebrity philanthropists. This is what they said about the two:

Impressive! Some celebrities could blow that much money on a few parties per year. Brad and Angelina definitely make an effort so go vote for them! A ceremony will take place on November 19th at 8 pm (Eastern) on VH1 – maybe Brad and Angelina will be there if their schedules allow!
You can vote for as many people as you’d like. For what it’s worth, although I obviously voted for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, I also voted for George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Don Cheadle for their Darfur activism (along with Brad), I voted for Bono because he is a truly charitable person who has done incredible things over the years, and Hayden Panettiere just because I have to respect her for being willing to risk arrest in Japan just so she could save dolphins.

Of course I’ll vote for them! They deserve that. I’ll have to take a look at the site before deciding who else I’d choose. Anways, these two deserve all of our support when it comes to positive things such as this.

hey everyone, I was looking for this particular pic of Angie and Brad in one of their RC events wherein Brad was looking Angie from afar.. I think he was in the stairs and Angie was below him and you could see his eyes! goodness! it’s full of love! i couldn’t find that pic.. if anyone of you have it, can you put a link to it?? thanks!

Absolutely! They are a fantastic example of celebrities who use their fame for well-chosen charities and causes. They would be just as famous if they did nothing but act and raise their family, but they choose to go above and beyond to make a difference.
Plus – I loooove the pictures from the Kung Fu Panda premiere. I truly believe that Angelina has never looked more beautiful than she did in this set of pictures. She’s a goddess!

This couple are so,so fanastic and I hope they win. Words can never praise them enough. I agree with you Kristen Angelina is a Goddess,and Brad is her Prince together they make pure majic, not only in looks but their pure goodness in giving, and I am sure they are very humble in what they are doing because they are genuine. MAY GOD BLESS THEM AND THEIR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN.
They definently deserve to be on that list! I love how they not only do so much charity work, but that they are raising their children to care about others as well, with Angie even taking Maddox with her on some of her humatarian missions (and I’m sure she’ll do the same with the other kids once they get older).
Kristen- I love those pictures, too. They always say that women “glow” when they’re pregnant. Angie most certainly did!

Thanks for this story, Sherry! I love the pics you´d chosen. The one of Brad and Angie at the premiere of Kung Fu Panda in Cannes is really beautiful. And also the pics of this year´s SAGs are just beautiful. I especially love the one in which Brad is looking at Angie from afar. Shows how much he loves and adores his woman. On the topic. It´s wonderful that Brad and Angie are on this list. They both are doing just a wonderful work helping those people in need and raising their brood of six at the same time. I really have to admire them both for that. Angie has already taken Mad to her trips in the Middle East a couple of times and lately Brad took both the older boys – Mad and Pax – to visit the MIR project construction site in NO. It´s wonderful that he shows his sons what kind of work their dad is doing to help those who have lost their homes and much more. I really hope that at least Mad and some other of their large brood will continut that marvellous charity work Brad and Angie are doing. God bless Brad, Angie and their adorable children!
Forgot to mention that this beautiful pic of Angie pregnant with the twins looks really beautiful. It reminds me from the time those two little cuties were still in their mum´s belly.Now they´re already 15 months old and growing all the time. Wonder how the time flies. Next July they´ll be 2 years old!
Ok i just voted for brad, angie, and a few others. If anyone still has to vote, will you please vote for jenny mccarthy? She has done so much to raise autism awareness, for finding a cure for autism and autism research, and for the families with a child with autism. She has been a voice for a community of families who up until now have not really had one. She also cares about AIDS research and other charities as well. I have followed her story and she has helped to educate me, a mother of two small children, on autism and what needs to be done to stop this epidemic (1 in 150 children are born with autism so i call it an epidemic). Please vote for her.

Sherry, I will not forget that day (second pictures from the bottom) SAG awards. I was so emotional watching Brad…that picture is so unforgetable Brad eyes, poised, smile and adoration to Angie was so noticeable (I did). They both deserve each other. Brad is so lucky and of course Angie too. So when others or media say bad things about their relationship I just think about the pictures/moments for them. I sure hope and pray for thier family.
I will vote for Brad and Angie. IMO this couple was meant to be. They have only just gotten started on all the good works they will do. And as others have mentioned they are teaching their children to do good works in the future.

Faye88 – yeah! I was thinking of that pic in Cannes! I just can’t figure it out if she’s wearing the lovely green dress when she’s preggy with the twins or the gorgeous yellow gown! but another thing, hehe! there is really another pic, wherein you can see Angie in side view, then Brad was in the stairs looking at her from a distance with those loving eyes.. i really tried to find it but I can’t find that one.. but thanks! it’s really that pic on Cannes!
