Around the ‘net with Angelina Jolie
Not like any of us are sitting on the edge of our seats, waiting for Angelina Jolie to give birth… Right?
Over at People.com, they’re reporting on Angelina Jolie’s hospital suite. The photo they have may or may not be the actual room, it’s possible it’s the same sort of room on a different floor, but it gives an idea of where she is right now. Aside from her own bed, there’s a spare bed that appears single-sized, presumably for Brad Pitt or any other overnight visitors. It doesn’t look much different from your average hospital maternity room, with one exception - it looks like there’s one heck of a view of the Mediterranean sea!
They’ve booked four rooms which are for the family and probably any security team members who need beds. However, in typical, thoughtful Jolie-Pitt style, Brad and Angelina picked a hospital that specializes in caring for children and teens where the parents don’t have money to afford medical care elsewhere. In other words, the money they’re paying, $200 per room per night is going to help the hospital to help those in need.
Meanwhile, at JustJared, there’s a post up with a woman who is reportedly Angelina Jolie waving at the cameras from her hospital room. While you could figure it’s her, showing off her still-pregnant belly as reassurance, for one thing it just doesn’t seem like something she would do, and aside from that, the woman looks nothing like Angie. Some have speculated that it’s a hired “body double” to distract from Angelina and give her some peace. Body double?! This isn’t a movie. In my opinion, I think it’s a pregnant woman on another floor who knows Angie is there, and she’s having fun with the cameras, acting as though she’s someone famous. Which is actually kind of funny.
But I’m 99% sure that’s not actually Angelina. What do you think?

Yeah I saw the photos and am absolutely sure it is not Angelina. She looks nothing like Angelina, first off. And this manuever seems a bit out of character for Angelina

Well I thought Angie would get a better hospital suite but that view…That’s probably why she chose it.I saw that picture of “Supposed Angelina” To me it looks nothing like her.With one exception,that guy next to her looks like Brad in a way.

yeah, i also figured it was just some other pregnant lady on another floor and having a fun at the paps. while it is certainly possible, i don’t believe it is a body double.

1. the cross tatoo is missing, which rastes the case. But for the fun of it I will add a 2 and a 3 :P
2. she wouldn’t have bothered hiring a double, it is not angelina style, they should know better
3. if she would have hired a double, she would have been clever enough to have a tatoo painted on her belly (a temporary one,of course)
And look at her fingers. Angelina has longer fingers (she could have been a piano player:))
That is just someone who was just having fun. I bet angie and brad are having a good laugh about it. After all, an unknown lady plays hide an seek with the mighty paparazzi (they fully deserve it, I might add). Angelina couldn’t have done better herself:))))

Sorry, me again, I feel that this is a stressful time for all of them right now. Thay had more or less just gotten settled with the children in a place where the kids were free to run and play without the whole world watching them. Now for one reason or another Angie has had to go into the hospital. This could go on for weeks (probably not) and I am sure that Brad, the children and the people that work for them are all very close to the hospital. So now the children are in close quarters again, confined because of the media frenzy and Brad I am sure is very worried about Angie and the babies. I just hope and pray that all will be well for all of them.

Don’t think it’s Angie at all. You’re probably right, Sherry, perhaps another pregnant woman on the same floor thought she’d have fun with the paps. :) I’m so excited for the babies to come, but over and above everything else, I just wish Angie a safe and healthy delivery and healthy babies.

I go with the funny lady theory. A # of blogs are doubting the woman is really Angelina. but they’re making a lot of intrigue about it -speculating if the JPs hired a body double. 1. it’s not their way, 2. it wouldn’t be so clumsily obvious. LA Time Dishrag blog is one stirring up the intrigue; she even stirred it up about that fuzzy picture taken of Angie with Z & Shi outside the chateau. She implied the pic was really of Holly & that somehow Angie plotted to have Holly get pregnant at the same time so Holly could be a decoy!

People: The Fondation Lenval, where Jolie is being monitored, is a 133-bed hospital in Nice, France, that specializes in the care of children and teens. Established in 1884, it has a history of treating children whose parents do not have the resources for medical care. According to local paper Nice-Matin, Jolie is staying in a pre-booked suite of four rooms, each of which go a relatively affordable $200 a night.
Like Sherry, we know that the JPs chose that hospital out of the goodness of their hearts. I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave a sizable donation once Ange & the twins leave the hospital. And we look at the fact that they’re in a regular vs. a VIP hospital as a good thing.
But there’s a saying that no good deed goes unpunished (sometimes I think this is the theme for the JPs). I’m waiting for someone to condemn Angie for taking away 4 rooms from 4 regular women who could have used them. She would also be condemned if she went to a luxe hospital.
Speaking of luxe (People’s term), the only thing luxe about those rooms is the view - which all the rooms in the front half of the hospital have (not mentioned by the media). Unless the hospital installed luxe carpeting, furniture & drapes, it’s very much a regular room - like the others.
From my experience & observations, I say “condemn Angie” because she bears the brunt of criticism & falsehoods, and Brad mostly gets a pass. So sexist.

Not her. It’s not their style. I think they are very genorous when it comes to the red carpet and photo opps. They don’t owe us — the loyals — anything except to deliver healthy babies and live a long wonderous life together.
They’ll let us know when it’s time.

I wouldn’t call this a stressful time in thier life. I would imagine they are all very happy and excited. The Paps maybe around but AJ just ignores them, Brad is a bit more aware and gets annoyed more easily. AJ seem to take the attitude if you ignore them they will go away eventually. Love AJ. Brad looks stressed out but the men always do, they just don’t get the whole birthing thing.

Since I don’t see tattoos on this lady, I’ll say it can’t be Angie! I find it interesting that the JPs chose a hospital that primarily serves “children and teens whose parents cannot afford medical care”. It is so in line with their values and simplicity. This hospital will probably reap a nice donation from Brad and Angie just like the tiny hospital in Namibia.
