Babel wins Best Director
A tid bit more slightly old news, but needs to be archived here nevertheless. ;) Babel has won the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival which wrapped up on Sunday. Babel was thought to be in the running for the grand prize Palme d’Or, but alas, it was not to be. Congrats to Alejandro Iñárritu for his award and for directing what is surely a great film - it is scheduled to open in late summer/early fall here in the U.S.

well i´m very happy because i listen that the film is vry good and so he deserve.
but when i knew that brad and angie had given money i stay very happy and i haven´t any douts: they are excelente people..fantastics!!!
ah!! anyone read people??
brad was with angie and he cut the umbilical cord ..isn´t nice??

wow! congrats, alejandro! i can’t wait to see the movie. i hope indonesian theatres will play the show. otherwise, i choose to buy the dvd or vcd.
