Big Babel Giveaway
Babel may be Brad Pitt’s best movie. I’ve read the reviews on this thing and they are amazing. In fact, he’ll certainly get another Oscar nomination for it (also got one for 12 Monkeys), but this time he just may join Angelina as an Oscar owner. Babel is reported to be *that good*. Remember, it won the Best Director Prize at Cannes 2006.
So, you can imagine my excitement when I was contacted today by a publicist for the movie and offered a giveaway for my loyal readers. They know you all adore Brad Pitt and they are looking to our community to remind everyone that Babel deserves their attention. So, I want to offer up to you several *signed by Brad Pitt himself-woot!* soundtracks from the movie and 2 amazing (and yes, signed by the man) Taschen books filled with moving photos from the film.
So, you’re probably thinking, “Um, Robyn, how do I win?” Well, good question. I will choose, randomly, from the commenters on this post. I’ll just print this whole post out, cut it up and draw out the names. That’s as random as I can get it.
So, pass it on, and let’s give Brad some early Oscar buzz. Babel and Brad for the win in 2007!
*also, was given a handful of videos, so as you can imagine, I’ll be doing some serious Pitt-uploading to YouTube in the morning so I can share these with you ASAP.

I am an inspiring actor and Brad is one of those male actors that I aspire to be like (although I do have a six pack and I am a ladies man). He always picks these very eclectic roles and now it seems that the one in Babel should, or at least I hope it will, win him that elusive Oscar. Even if it doesn’t, I don’t think we have seen the last of him and his diverse and now even more profound roles. I think Angelina and their children have had a tremendous impact on his life, which now shows in the more “choicey” roles he is playing. I, for one, would love to kiss Angelina on those robust lips of her just as a token of thanks!

Can’t wait to see Babel! I just hope it lives up to the hype - you know how forward publicity often gears you up to expect so much & then you’re disappointed?! However, I have a feeling Babel won’t be like that because it hasn’t just got hunk o’ spunk Brad, but some other fine actors as well.Here’s hoping Brad will have his fine acting skills recognised through this film.

I am so mezmorized by just starring at Brad all the time in his films. I don’t know what, how, why - he is just the most handsome man on earth to me. I also love Angelina with him, what beautiful union - I hope they are together forever. I do like Cate, the actress for Babel, she is amazing in her craft. I definitely would not miss seeing this film.

I am a huge BAMZS fan from San Diego, I saw Babel last weekend and it is a GREAT movie, Brad was FANTASTIC, and he deserve to be nominated for an OSCAR and to win it as well, and I am going to see it again. I love Brad, he is an amazing and wonderful man, and to me this is the best I ever seen him in a movie, he was great in 12 Monkeys, but to me he is FANTASTIC in Babel, so who haven’t seen Babel yet, please go out there and see it and support Brad and this movie and take a box of tissues with you

I will do anything to support Brad Pitt’s possible oscar nomination. I saw Babel this morning (first day in the theaters here) and was so powerfully moved. I agree with those who think this is Brad’s best work ever.

Was lucky enough to catch an afternoon showing of Babel. It was tremendous! The movie was excellent. The direction was superb. The acting magnificent. Brad, as usual, was wonderful. If he does not receive an Oscar nom for that performance I would be shocked! Some of his best work ever. I am so happy for Brad and proud of him (as I am sure the rest of the Jolie-Pitt clan is)for choosing to work on a movie like Babel. Go see Babel!

I’ve never thougth I could be addicted to a fan club like this. “Seven Years in Tibet” (1997) is my favourite performance of Brad Pitt and it was when I realized that he wasn’t just a cute guy, he had other profound dimensions as an actor.

I’ll be there regardless of the buzz - Pitt and Jolie are actors of great significance in our times, and the current event tones of their recent roles are REALLY juicy for me, as I keep up with world events and people’s cultures other than our own. It is so very exquiste they have found their hearts in each other - we all are benefitting from this partnership.

Entertainment Weekly recently devoted most of an issue to the upcoming movie, so I am intrigued to say the least. I haven’t decided yet if it’s something to see at the movies (it may not even come to the small town where I live) or NetFlix it. I will definitely see it either way though. I loved Brad Pitt in Fight Club, Seven, and 12 Monkeys.

I have never seen such a compatible partner or union, as Brad & Angelina in Hollywood. They are both accomplished actors, very GOOD LOOKING, financially sound, have good hearts, down to earth and loves children!

Loyal Reader???? Does visting the website up to 5 times a day count??? I really do, when I get to work in the morning I always check your site just like a check my email every morning. Then around lunch time, I check in again to see if there is any new news on my favorite family… I check all throughout the day, and lastly before I go to bed. Every morning shortly after rising, I check my mail and the news, then I savor this site for last, sometimes I check a couple of times a day for a new pic or some info. I truly adore Angelina for her charity and her acting. And she’s got the most amazing, beautiful children. I have yet to be blessed with child. I hope she and Brad have a long life together.
Brad is an amazing and talented actor, not to mention a great humanitarian and father.
I have to work all this wknd, then study for tests on Tuesday, but I plan to sneak out for some “me” time on Monday and see Babel. Its hard to be a full time student and have to work full time, BUT I get my Brad and Angie time in too!

Wow, way to go for the recognition from the Babel peeps!
SPOILERS!!!!!
Just came home from watching the movie and OMG that last scene with Brad and the phone…that was enough for an Oscar eh?! I think so. And the poor nanny……I know some people think the movie is disjointed but it all fits together and I don’t even think it needs to fit together when each segment is good enough by itself. I kept thinking that the Deaf-mute girl would eventually have sex with someone but I was so happy that the men were upstanding enough to say no. The shocker for me was when I found out the girl in Morrocco who was changing was the sister of the peeping Tom…YIKES!!! So final thoughts: I Loved Loved the movie how it can be several snippets of many different stories in several different languages but in the end, there is one common theme, which is communication. That is the universal bind that brings us all together and the movie did that very well. If we just take the time to understand the other person, maybe things might just move along a little bit smoother. Every part of the movie hit that theme…like when the nephew of the nanny was trying to talk over the border guard.

Seen Babel today. Clearly one of the best films of the year, and I can totally see why there is Oscar buzz surrounding it. No spoiling, but all the story-lines were superbly written, and I can’t say enough about the cast. I believe Bradley may end up with an Oscar. That phone call his character made towards the end really had me in tears. I also think they woman who played the Japanese girl and the Mexican nanny deserve to be recognized. Even though I went to see Brad, I thought the those two woman were astounding. Just gut-wrenching to see their stories play out.

Just Jared and TMZ have new pictures of Brad, Angie and kids dinner and outing at the Taj Mahal Hotel. My God there are hundreds and hundres of comments. Some good, some bad, some critizising that Babel did not gross enough money because of the “cheater.” Some terrible comments/insults about Angie’s skinny arms. So aweful comments I don’t want to read. I am not a medical expert but I think that Angie has a medical condition on her arms (her veins showing) similar to varicose veins to some people. Such condition can be treated with lazer surgery and can be very painful. From those pictures, she does not look pregnant either or may be it is too early to tell.

If you had read the quotes from all involved, Brad and Angie were not cheaters. He and Jen announced their split in Jan, and she filed for petition in March. Angie and he were not dating until after that and the baby was conceived over the summer.
While the divorce wasn’t final until October, it was more than over in March and Jen blamed her negative attitudes of marriage as part of the problem. Note here:

Hello! I have to admit that I truly am a big BAMZ fan. I just love Angelina and BP. I think that he is truly a very nice and mannered man. And, I can see how he got lucky getting together with the EVER SO BEAUTIFUL AND GORGEOUS ANGELINA! She has got to be one of the most excellent actors around, and I truly feel that she was able to help Brad in his acting skills. Afterall, she has won an Oscar!! To me they both look absolutely DIVINE together, and with their little family, I’ll tell you it is the MOST PRECIOUS THING TO WATCH. I LOVE HOW THEY TRULY LOVE CHILDREN, AND THAT THEY CAN BE SUCH GOOD PARENTS TO THESE CHILDREN. Hang in there AJ, who cares what the JA is thinking and saying, you are 100% more of an actor and person than his ex. But, I’m sooooo sure that he already sees this.
