Brad and Angelina - Mission: Toys R Us!
Looks like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are gearing up for Shiloh’s birthday which is next Tuesday. The post-Cannes couple was spotted heading into a Toys R Us to do some toy shopping. I wonder what Shiloh wants for her birthday this year. I recall she was carrying a big baby doll around when they were out shopping the other day, so maybe she wants a whole playset for her “baby”!

Well I think that solves what is wrong with Brad between the diner film and the shopping trip (plus he probably heard about the boob photos) I would say he is just plan sick of the media attention. I can’t blame him one bit it would drive me nut job or no job (I don’t believe these photo are part of the job red carpet yes, on the movie set yes this no. Love how they are in the star wars aisle, and of course the pink aisle.

There’s a lot of mother energy around, what with Shi’s bday, Mothers’ Day earlier this month, Angie playing a mother & revisting Marcheline in her role.
There’s an old saying that American actresses are limited to only 4 roles – wife/girlfriend, mother, whore, victim/doormat. Looking back on her career, Angie almost always plays strong women who are vulnerable & tender at the same time. She’s broken through the stereotypes, and done it on her terms. Maybe that’s why some people hate her – she’s too uppity, independent & successful.

I am itching to find out who made her flip flops. I love ‘em but Brad has got to lighten up. I’ve been to Cannes and the French and especially their papparazzi are simply out of control. I’m Black and was followed in hopes of fidning Jamie Foxx — yikes.

On the other hand, I know this is truly an unoriginal statement but I love this couple ! I’ve just discovered a new reason why: They seem like they really enjoy just doing simple normal things.

I am wondering, MeMe, if they are always wearing their sunglasses due to the photogs always snapping away?? Those flashes have got to be blinding, I hate just having one or two pictures taken, can you imagine what it’s like to be them and having sometimes hundreds of cameras flashing in your face? I don’t know how they manage sometimes. I feel sad for them that they can’t ever go out in public without someone snapping pics of them.

The paps photograph and film them BOTH inside, outside and at night. Using “floodlights” and flash.
The evidence is out there. Like any other person it affects their vision whether inside or outside.
I think 3years straight and no let up can be irritating. I know I would be.

Kari, there were about two photos of Angie that appeared in The Sun (a British tabloid) while she was taking off her black bikini top at the balcony of the villa where they are staying. That balcony obviously overlooks the big swimming pool. Anyway, there is also a tabloid cover at the grocery store were it reads: Angie pregnant and still wearing a bikini. She was not topless on this cover however. TMZ has this also and I wrote “invasion of privacy” on their survey. I hope Brad can still keep his temper with the paps. One of these days, I think he might loose it with Angie being pregnant and if he is with the kids.

What she forgot to mention is that they have photographed Jennifer too, boobs on display, sunbathing in her backyard. Unlike Angie whose towel slipped whilst she was putting on a top in her backyard.
Just to remind those who like to spread it around that it can happen to anyone. Somehow Jen got sympathy and outrage but Angie as usual gets condemnation and “helpful people” propagating the story.

hi this is not about toys r us..just wanted to say that in london the critics have loved THE EXCHANGE and all the reviews i have read have said this is clints best directed movie and that angie is incredible and will definately win some awards for it…sometimes its easy to forget that she is actually not just someone we admire through pittwatch,shes a really great actress. can’t wait to see WANTED and THE EXCHANGE.

“Idolising”? Now that can be a loaded word, given how (across the internet) certain X admirers have used it to belittle Angelina admirers’ opinions.
I don’t idolize Angelina, I admire & respect her. I don’t think she’s a saint or Mother Teresa (which Angie has never claimed). She’s made mistakes and she’ll make more because, like us, she’s human.

i used it because of BlessBrangelina, it wasn´t meant in a negative way and i certainly don´t know what some other Jenfans say (like i said i am on HERE because i HATE these ridiculous fights between the groups of fans elsewhere). it´s sad that i seem not to be safe here of it either.
like you said it goes BOTH ways. thats why i as an ANgie/Jen fans always get blows from both sides.

Oh wow, that’s a lot of comments to read…yes, it does seem now that Brad is becoming really irritated with the paps. I mean, he’s probably been so for a long time now, but this time he’s making it more obvious, and I really cannot blame them. Again, yes, they do have to accept that as celebrities, that this is their reality and it comes with the territory, but I think any normal person, celeb or not, will get quite upset as well if it’s been a constant thing, and especially if it involves the children. And since Angie is pregnant, I guess he is especially worried.

I can’t blame Brad being upset with the papz lately, they’ve been getting off hand & even invading their privacy too much. I thought in France they will find peace & quiet but I guess being famous all over the world they have to pay the price.

I wanted to know what you thought of Brad and Angelina taking their children to the Festival of Cannes.
This place is actually crowded with paparazzis and people coming to snap pictures of the stars.
I guess they can’t complain if pictures of their children are taken . It is what Cannes is about during the festival: A place to be seen!
I love this couple but I feel kind of guilty watching the really cute pictures of their kids.

Vicky Boone Casting is conducting a search for citizens of Salt Lake City, Tooele and surrounding areas to be considered as extras in the film, titled “The Tree of Life.”
Casting agents are looking for people between the ages of 5 and 65, from all ethnic backgrounds, with modern or unique looks.
An open casting call will be held on May 31 at the Deseret Peak Complex Firefighters Museum in Tooele — located at 2930 West Highway 112. The casting call will run between 9:00 a.m. and Noon.
Another casting call will be held later in the day — between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. — in West Wendover, Nev. That event will be held at the West Wendover library, located at 590 Camper Drive.
The casting process will consist of a brief visit with a member of the casting team. Applicants are asked to take along a non-returnable photo of themselves.
Filming on “The Tree of Life” will begin within the next month.

I responded like that because of your previous posts in which you have been passive aggressive in your responses.
A lot of people (some Jen fans) have used this as a way to condemn Angie. This story has been passed on by helpful people. And she has been savaged for it. With most forgetting that where Angie’s was an accident, Jen’s was a conscious decision to sunbath like that.
IF you are not one of those then by ALL means I apologise. Far be it for me to “call out” an innocent helpful party!!!!!

Even though Brad asked them not to, some did follow them.
I think maybe they just left the glasses on out of habit, because they know that at anytime or at corner someone is going to ‘popout’ and snap a picture with a flash.

Thank you 804 for the links. I think at the dinner Brad and Angie saw the video man because he was motioning to the cameras. I like the first part when Angie was holding his cheeks. That little girl got both Brad and Clint’s autograph. Great clips. Is Mr. Jagger afraid of the fans?

like i said i do not care if actresses sunbath without a top or if it was an accident. those pics are often taken of inside their property, its in every case an invasion of privacy.
Angie showed her breasts in some movies, so i guess everyone has seen them by now. NOTHING wrong with that;)

i am sick of always comparing Jen and Angie, because there is nothing to compare. so what if Jen sunbathes in the backyard of her house? its her privacy and many other women do so. nothing bad with this either.

Hey, they eat like normal people! I’m speculating that Brad caught Angie’s hand to stop more PDA - what do you think?
My husband saw the video & asked if it was always like that with the paps. I told him it was even worse other times. He thinks the JPs should hire 3 different decoy families for when they want to go out with the kids. Everyone could go in different directions to fool the paparazzi.

Eastwood’s French publicist and friend Pierre Rissient invited us to a special post screening dinner at the Restaurant La Palme d’Or. Some of the world’s top film critics and film programmers joined Clint Eastwood, his daughter Alison and son Kyle, cast members and friends like Tim Robbins and Sean Penn who have acted for Eastwood in previous films.
The film’s star Angelina Jolie is pregnant and looked radiant in a gorgeous floor-length dress. Spouse Brad Pitt kept busy while she and Eastwood were deservedly the center of attention.
We were assigned to tables named after films Eastwood has directed. We were at “Mystic River.”
The Menus informed us in both French and English that we’d be eating: The white and Purple Asparagus cooked in mineral water, freshness of amaretto liquor in flowery and argan oil. The wild Mediterranean Sea Bass set nicely on a smooth polentina with splits of morel mushrooms, a carrot and young broadbean sauce. The chocolate “Palme D’Or” - smooth cake with splits of hazelnuts, a tonka beans “Chaud Froid.”
With appropriate wines paired, I’d give dinner 4 stars.

I know that BlessBrangelina doesn’t like the O-word, but this is from the industry itself so I figure I won’t jinx it. Professional Oscar prognosticators say TCBB has Oscar buzz already.

That would be neat if the family went to the grand prix. I’m not trying to cause trouble but why would just the boys and brad go to the grand prix. Why wouldn’t the girls go to. It’s not really a big deal I just thought it was kind of a sexist comment, just the boys going. To bad about AJ buying Ferrari shirts, I am not a fan of the Ferrari team. cute pics of Mad. I think that’s every thing I needed to say have a good weekend. Oh ya one more thing Jen, Gwyneth, Juliette any one could be the X I am a fan of all three and I really don’t think there is any further need to mention any of them again on this site unless they are in a movie with AJ or Brad. The actress’ bike chase in the 2001 hit computer game adaptation landed the top spot in poll issued by U.K. bike insurers Bennetts - beating legendary actor Steve MCQueen’s iconic chase sequence to the Swiss border in The Great Escape, reports Contactmusic.
The top five Biking Movie Moments were:

Angie is pregnant and HUGE and i guess every step out of her house and posing for the journalists, carrying her kids through the Grand prix etcetcetc…would be very much stress. Z is a little princess and i don´t think the Grand prix would be her thing and Shi is only two.i´m not sure if she would like all that noise (its really loud).THATS why i said “the boys”.
its amusing that my posts are always analysed like that. but i would appreciate it if you would think twice and wouldn´t always think that negativly of me (no offense ok?).
i am no Ferrari fan either…McLAren/Mercedes is my favorite.

as for Brad looking pissed i am sure the pabs really annoy him. we just have to think how we would react in their position. i would have been pissed long ago. i really got angry as they were crowded and i saw SHi´s fearful face!

I think it’s the other way around ;-) - Brad was too eager & wanted Angelina & him to cool down a litte. Otherwise, they’d have to excuse themselves to get a room. Hahaha!
When I was young, everything was sex, drugs & rock ‘n roll, and we didn’t care who knew it - in fact we celebrated & flaunted it. When I was 19 with a hot & hunky (before the words were invented) Native American boyfriend, I was in heat whenever I was around him. Suffice it to say, under the liberating influence of mj, I was all over him in public. Those were the days.

ligaya, I agree with you. AJ knew the paps were watching. I don’t think the pap attention bothers her nearly as much as Brad. They were having dinner with quite a few people so that little display of affection although not inappropriate, was definitely in my opinion for the cameras.

Tao, somehow I missed your post. The only time any of the JP kids were in public was that shopping trip to Bonpoint with Maddox & Shiloh.
All the rest of the time, the kids were at the villa or the Cannes hotel where they stayed to avoid hours in traffic between the villa & Cannes. So, no, Angie & Brad weren’t asking for paps’ a

Angie & Brad weren’t asking for the paps’ attention, they were very careful to keep their kids out of all the hoopla, and the paps invaded their privacy constantly - they were out of line, as usual. I’m not talking about the accredited photographers on the RC.
