Brad and Angie make Nice mayor happy

The mayor of Nice, France is very happy that not only are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in his city, he’s thrilled that they’ve chosen the Lenval hospital. The mayor recently welcomed them by saying:
“(This is) a very great honor and a great satisfaction. We are very happy for this choice of Ms. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt, and I want to say to them that I wish a lot of joy to them and the babies, and great success for all of their lives.
“All their lives they will be Nicois and all their life they will be able to come to Nice and we will receive them with great honor.”
As I mentioned earlier this week, the Lenval hospital does a lot of great work with children who are from families who can not afford health care elsewhere, so the fact that Angelina Jolie plans to give birth there is going to help the hospital a great deal.

Since James is in France now, does anybody know how long he was in Namibia before Shiloh’s birth?

In which way is their stay actually helping the hospital? Because the publicity alone does not help the hospital one bit. Of course their donations will, but not their actual stay…..

If I remember correctly James came to Namibia approx. two to three weeks before Shiloh was born. I remember seeing pictures of Maddox, James and Doug Pitt playing on the beach. Do any of you think that the doctor that delivered Shiloh will arrive in France to assist Dr. Sussman? As for Brad’s parents maybe they are already there helping out with children. Whatever, my day always start with CNN News and I just keep waiting to see if Angie has had the babies. Then after I get my daughter’s family taken care of I go to Pittwatch. Sherry, I would image you are going to be very busy for the next few weeks. Bless you Sherry for having a wonderful place to visit and chat with so many nice people.

Victoria, they are paying for four hospital rooms plus the service for her stay and the delivery. I cannot imagine the fees for those. Plus, you know they will donate for hospital charity since they did the same thing in Namibia at the Cottage Hospital. The mayor is thrilled just having big names in the city itself.

Actually, the publicity might help. Another way the Jolie-Pitts’ staying at the Leval Hospital might help is that the resulting free publicity for the hospital’s mission of caring for low-come mothers might encourage donations from the French, and maybe even from outside of France.

It seems like it could be any day. Twins often come early. I wonder if it will be twin girls!
