Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrive in New York City
Oh dear. Those poor tabloids. They must be so disappointed because Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have arrived in New York City with the kids! They arrived at some point on Thursday, in time to settle in before the red carpet premiere of Changeling.
Angelina was seen carrying Shiloh who is looking like quite the big girl since we last saw her. Angie looks really tired in the photo, but you know, I’d look tired too with twin babies, four older kids, and having just stepped off an overseas flight!
Brad was photographed carrying an infant carrier with either Knox or Vivienne. The rest of the kids escaped the cameras.
Some places are reporting that the red carpet premiere is Friday October 10th, but I’m also still reading that it’s Saturday October 4th. I’m wondering if it’s possible that Angelina is set to start promoting the film this week with the premiere being the following week. I’ll do some more investigating and let you know. Meanwhile, Changeling officially opens October 24th.
See more photos of Angelina with Shiloh and Brad with one of the babies (though you can’t see him/her inside the carrier) over here. Do yourself a favor though, don’t read the commentary from the rest of the posters since there’s a lot of snark. Clearly none of those people have ever had babies and don’t understand how exhausting it can be. Also, someone cleverly stated that if Brad is really as devoted to his family as he says he is, then he wouldn’t have been all over Europe promoting Burn After Reading. It amazes me how people have no understanding that all the glamor aside, Hollywood is still a business first and foremost and actors are contractually obligated to make appearances to promote their movies - he didn’t have much choice. Besides, Europe is small - it doesn’t take long to get back to your family even if you do have to travel somewhere.

Shiloh is so cute and appears to be enjoying the photogs, look at that smile. She is growing and has Brad’s chubby cheeks that Brad had when he was a toddler. Angie is looking more like her mom. Of course she is tired, I don’t understand why people think that Angie should be smiling every time she is photographed! Traveling with 1 baby is hard work, can not imagine traveling with more then one, nursing and taking care of a toddler and having to deal with the paparaz on your tail every move you make. They were probably hoping to avoid them but they were found out.
So glad Brad is with her. I just knew that he would be there being the supporting and loving parent he is.
Of course there will always be negative comments because people want the tabloid stories to be try.
Sure the family is fine.

Hahaha yes tabloids as usual will have egg on their faces. But they will escape any blame, with no one calling them out because their lies make too many people happy.

‘all over europe’. brad only went to vencie ,Italy to promote BAR and then to toronto canada. he also clearly did not go to the berlin premiere of BAR yesterday as he was with angie and kids traveling to NYC.

So happy to see them. And Sherry you are so right, and Melodie good thinking about the sunglasses. When these dumbbells talk they are crazy. All in all these stars are able to stay at home alot more than most people that have to work 5 days a week with only a few weeks vacation. Brad did his promotions and now Angie will do hers and then they will leave and go back to Germany where Brad will have to work for a while, but Angie will be home. Being rich and famous has a whole set of different problems than we have. At least we don’t have to be hiding out.

niemiec idiota - I know, he wasn’t literally all over Europe, I’m just saying that traveling around Europe doesn’t translate to weeks away from home like some people are saying.
Mary Ann - I’m not camera shy, I’m happy to pose for pictures, but if I had cameras chasing me all the time, I’d lose my mind. I can’t imagine having to hide out and being scrutinized for my appearance every time I step out of the house. People sometimes make fun of the fact that some celebrities are always in full makeup every time the open their door, even to go buy a carton of milk, but I can’t blame them!

It´s really nice to see the Brangelina clan landing NY. So that totally proves the break-up rumors wrong (once again!!). Brad looks really great in that red hat and seems to be very careful carrying that carrier with its precious little cargo. Also Angie looks great although a little bit tired. But who wouldn´t be after such a long flight. She doesn´t look depressed at all. And Shiloh! She looks really, really adorable. That beautiful smile saves any day! Hopefully she and the rest of the family have a nice stay in the States and return safely to Germany soon.

Thanks Sherry, but I have to disagree with you about the Yuku board. I’m a member there and the Angelina threads are very strong with fans there and the bonus is you can store and post pics and the board has an option that allows you to always ignore habitual trolls. Let’s not confuse the good sites with bad ones. I see us as a community and we should make allowances for each other.

Neil - I wasn’t putting the board down at all. I simply warned people that there are some snarky comments, because a lot of the PittWatch readers don’t enjoy reading those. If you’re a regular member, you may have people already on ignore, but someone visiting on occasion won’t have that option and on the first page I read one person saying that Angelina is obviously very depressed (because she looks tired after a long flight?) and someone implying Brad’s not really a family man since he was promoting his film. I wasn’t being insulting in any way, just alerting people.

God, these pics brought tears to my eyes :P It’s been so long since I’ve seen them… Especially Shiloh (she is the apple of my eye, I can’t help it :)) ). She looks so cool and comfy in her mother’s arms. And that smile made my day :D It’s very funny how she knows to smile for the camera :)))) Smart kid! She looks so much like Angelina when she was a little girl. Angie looks a little tired but still she looks great, even without makeup. She is a natural beauty.

stupid tabloids…..once again it has been proven that they only spread lies…altough they were right on money about Angies pregnancy. anyway…i think Angie looks gorgeous! even without makeup. its a long flight from Berlin to NY, of course she looks tired! and flying with babies is not fun - believe me;)

I am just happy to see them togather again, I don’t care if she have makeup on or not if she is tired or not they are taking care of six kids, they are not at the spa everyday. They will look great on the Red Carpet for their fans and they are all healthy that is more important, she dose not look depress she looks like a new mother, we are all too superficial and hard on them, I am a mother, I see the good in them and thats all I will ever see.

i was so totally exhausted after just having one child, i can’t imagine having twins plus the older children to take care of. she is amazing, both on the screen and off. i admire her work sooo very much.

Shiloh is a living doll…So happy to see that Brad came with the entire clan. Angie looks beautiful, tired but beautiful. I live in NYC, but unfortunately have to work on Saturday night so I wont be able to attend the premiere for Changeling.

Thanks, Sherry. I’m so happy the whole clan is together. How fast kids grow! Shiloh isn’t a toddler anymore, she’s a little girl. Check out how her jeans’ hem is folded up several inches. My brothers’ pants were like that growing up, since we didn’t have the extra money to keep buying new pants as they grew taller. Or could it be the fashion nowadays?
BlessBrangelina, I agree this gave the tabs some pause – but they’re probably off and running as I write. The tabs will always have something negative to say whatever the Jolie-Pitts do – they’re probably saying that Brad came with the family only because Angelina forced him to and that they’re only pretending to be a happy family. They can’t win, tabs are like a snake contorting itself to say things even if patently nonsensical and contradictory to what they said just a nanosecond ago. (Also, watch for the tabs to say that Diane Kruger and Brad are having an affair.)
Can’t wait to see the RC pics from Saturday. Also on Saturday at the Mill Valley Film Festival, I’ll see exclusive clips of CCBB and be at the Q&A with Taraji P. Henson (plays Brad’s adoptive mom) and screenwriter Eric Roth. Will post about it. Taraji is a huge fan of the JPs and has been quoted in interviews about it.

It must get great ratings because it is on all the time. I have so many favorite scenes that I could watch them over and over. It is wonder to be able to see the beginning of this Love Affair. Such a HOT couple. Well, Saturday can’t come soon enough

Malena - I guess there’s not much point trying to continue to explain myself. I know Geography, I studied it as a major part of my education. I know Europe is not literally “small”. However, one thing many foreigners enjoy about traveling in Europe is the fact that it’s very travel-friendly in the sense that you can easily hop a train and go from one country to the next, and if you’re someone like Brad with a plane at your disposal, it’s even easier. My point was that when Brad lived in France and traveled to Italy it was not a huge deal as though he had flown over to Australia. It was easy and quick for him to get home rather than having to take multiple connecting flights.

i’m so glad to see Angie, Brad and the kids together. I really tried not to go to any other sites except Pittwatch as I did not want to see trash. Angie looks a bit tired but it’s normal for parents with new born twins. Look forward to seeing Angie and Brad on the RC.

To a North American, Europe is small. You can travel through 3 countries in Europe in the same amount of time it would take you to travel through one Canadian province. Plus the fact that your train system is some much better then anything we have, it makes it very easy to travel. I lived in England for 2 years and the amount of weekend day trips we made over to Europe was amazing and then before we left we took two months and traveled on the train all around Europe seeing many different cultures. This is not something you can do in North America. I was always amazed that our friends in London thought we were crazy for taking our weekend trips, because the places we went were so far away. I believe Europeans view distances different then we do.

i don’t think Brad leaving his family to promote his films is “neglecting them.” that’s like saying that going to work and leaving your wife with your kids is neglecting them. and Sherry is right Europe is not as big as the U.S. so he could have taken a train back home if he wanted to. brad has to go to work and promote his films if he wants them to do well in theaters. i don’t understand why people are making a big deal out of nothing. ???????????????????????

I don’t think Angie looks so bad….Honestly. She looks a little bit more mature and a bit more solemn perhaps in these photos but I really don’t think she looks bad.
