It looks like Us Weekly is trying to make up for its past of occasionally printing malicious gossip - the newest issue shows that Us Weekly has named Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Couple of the Year. The pair are on the new cover.
The magazine said that regardless of whether people loved or hated them, America (and the rest of us, I presume) “couldn’t stop watching” them between their busy careers, adding a new child to the family (Pax in March), and all their wonderful humanitarian efforts. They made a reference to Brad’s New Orleans project.
Apparently they beat out Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes who came in second.

Glam.com has named Brad and Angie The Best-Dressed Couple of 2007. I’m sure Brad and Angie couldn’t care less about these titles. Still it’s great for us fans to read about it….um, except for the US Weekly one…fascination, with for instance this lovely couple, does not equate to stupidity….who are they kidding? Trying to make nice now, is that it? Too late chocolate!
Shalom y paz, Pittwatchers! Time flies during the holidays, and it’s already the end of week 2 of the Make It Right/Pink Project. Today I read that $3.5 million of the $5 million to match Brad’s $5 million donation has been raised (http://www.thetowntalk.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071214/NEWS01/71214011). Awesome! That’s excellent news! That $3.5 million includes OUR donations – yay!
The 1st week, 14 of us gave $2425 (!!!) + 5 gave unspecified amounts + 3 made pledges. Doesn’t it feel good? This 2nd week, Akishdebaba & Heather added $65 to our total = $2490 ($10 more dollars and we will have donated the equivalent of a roof solar panel to help cut 75% off energy bills for a lifetime). Actually, I’m sure we’re over $2500 because Ranch donated an unspecified amount.
Thank you everyone – gracias, merci, salamat. Angelina & Brad & Maddox/Pax/Zahara/Shiloh would be so proud of us. The 10 houses paid for grew to 27! Celebrities who gave whole houses: Jimmy Buffett, Donna Karan, and the band Widespread Panic.

I was so happy to read that Us weekly named Brad and Angie couple of the year. I just love the way this couple love their children. As for Tom and Katie being second that is wrong!! All I see them is parading themselves and Suri what about Tom’s other forgotten children? Wouldn’t they like to see daddy’s premiers as well. How come they are rarely sported together as a happy family? VIVA BRAD AND ANGIE best parents of the year too.
Do you people have anything else to do besides put this royal couple down? If you were in their shoes,what would you do? This is a very royal and private family,so let them alone.
