Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoy time with the kids
After spending so much time at the hospital before the birth of Knox and Vivienne and then staying another week after their birth before coming home, it was clearly important for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to spend some quality play time with their four older kids.
Although I’m not thrilled with sneaky photos on private property, there’s no denying that it’s incredibly cute to see Brad, Angelina, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh out in their yard, playing ball and running around. It looks like Mrs. Pitt is there as well, as reports have stated. You can see the photos here.
I rolled my eyes over the fact that they thought maybe Angelina Jolie was holding Vivienne in one of the photos. Who holds a baby like that? Do none of the paparazzi have children? Clearly that was a doll that Angie was holding, maybe one of Shiloh’s dolls. Duh.
Supposedly they’re supposed to be off to Greece, though no one has said why. I can’t imagine them wanting to leave for another country so soon because they are going to be tired for some time, unless it’s a prior commitment they can’t get out of. We’ll see if that’s true or not - maybe it’s just Brad for a movie meeting.

Just saw the photos too, Sherry. And while I feel like I’m intruding on their privacy once more, it is nice to see them again. Can’t shake that guilty feeling though. Yeah, I don’t think that’s a baby Angie is holding. It’s probably Shiloh’s doll.
And with the pic of Angie and Mrs Pitt speaking (Mrs Pitt even looks like she’s laughing), then perhaps the people who keep saying the two of them have a strained relationship will stop.

and it’s just so strange the thing they say Woman’s Day magazine had reported:
“Ange’s Emotional Double Birth: She insists, ‘My mother’s spirit was in the room”‘, emotes Woman’s Day on its cover, adding, somewhat macabrely, in a small blue circle, “Visit From The Grave”. The article inside reports Brad Pitt has told friends that Jolie “appeared at one point during the birth to be bathed in a strange white light” and that he cried so much he had to lie in the dark with cucumber on his eyes “to get down the swelling”.
Strange white light and cooling fruits aside, surely the best piece of birth-related information, if it is true, comes midway through the same article. With Pitt and Jolie’s babies, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, safely out, the parents drank vintage Krug champagne and ate Jolie’s favourite chips, barbecue-flavoured, shipped from the US to France by Pitt. After the wonder of birth a nice salty snack and a chug on a bottle of champers: much more down to earth.
I’m sure this is all hogwash from Woman’s Day. I gotta give it to them for creativity though.

I saw these pictures and wondered about the inset one - because clearly she’s wearing a different outfit, and I wondered if it was taken before she gave birth. Some moron said that she is still pregnant in the pictures, and while that person clearly doesn’t know that you stay pregnant looking if you are anyone but Nicole Kidman (check that out on People - it is unnatural), she does look pretty big in these pictures. Do we wonder at all if they were taken earlier?

They seem relaxed…
Angie does seem older but I’m sure she’ll get back in shape. She’s standing around like a true mama! Hands on her hips and everything !
One thing that struck me in looking at these pictures…what I will say is not original, but it hit home in seeing these photos: Obviously it’s a beautiful, serene, spacious setting they’re in. I’ve visited some nice places in the South of France once or twice when I was a teenager…but you know what? It gets a bit dull pretty quickly (perhaps that’s why they’re reportedly off to Greece !) So you are in this beautiful house and it’s like…OK, we’ve seen the beautiful garden…the strange basement or whatever…we’ve played ball outside..rolled around, relaxed…now what? BORING. Kids miss society and action at that age. What makes me sorry is that I guess those kids can’t really get to know the fun of being a kid in a city, town or village where you get to play with all the other kids… (OK I’m sure they will team up with other celebrity kids soon enough, and they have each other and school.) But I grew up in Europe (France, Spain and England -though I am American) and playing in the towns and cities was totally magical. There was a low key vibe - it’s safe and we would just go around having a BALL with other kids and meeting tons of people. Obviously, there are many places in the US where it’s the same, including New York City, which is not so dangerous anymore. But sadly, the most privileged kids in the world may not be able to enjoy this…

If your not thrilled about posting links to these photos then why do you keep posting links and there photos, your just like a voyuer like the rest of us and want to see the photos, but by playing the high road all the time is laughable- and that means when you hate the paparazzi for what they do and then your freely post there links and there photos makes you just like them.

Tom - Why is it laughable? Yes, the photos make me uncomfortable because clearly they’re using helicopters to take the photos. But yes, obviously I like seeing them too. I’ve never said I didn’t. I love photos of the family, especially when they’re just having fun. That doesn’t mean that I’m uncomfortable with the concept.
However, you will notice I never post the photos myself. And they’ve come up in other comments on other posts anyway, so we may as well discuss them since that’s what this site is for - discussing the Jolie-Pitt family.
Carrie - Nicole Kidman never got all that big during her pregnancy anyway so I guess it’s not too hard to lose the weight after but it was definitely shocking to see her so slim in those photos! I couldn’t believe she just had a baby two weeks ago! I lost my baby weight pretty quickly too but I still needed loose pants for a little while, but it looked like Nic was wearing button pants. Impressive!

Tom, i don’t wanna act like 2nd Sherry but i don’t think what you said was fair. As a regular poster here i believe Sherry or should i say the moderator just wanted to give us updates on how the JPs are doing, because this is what the site is for. If you back read old threads, you will see that the moderator didn’t post photos that invaded their privacy. Like Sherry, i have to admit that i feel guilty because i enjoy seeing their photos but since these photos are so called “invasion of privacy” she just posted a link as a sign of respect for those fans who would want to see it too. Peace out.
Anyway, i think it’s Shi’s doll. I mean, i don’t think Angie would carry Vivi that way. :)

I have a suspicion that Greece will be the photo shoot setting for the twins. If they are not going to Greece, I don’t know where the scoop started. I must say though that Jane Pitt looks really happy, also Brad. If you read Lainey’s blog today, she identifies everybody in these photos and a comment regarding Nicole Kidman. It seems like everybody is tapping on the Brangie news sensation even Billy Bob who said there will be a movie with him and Angie in the future. Huh? I will not believe anything until Brad or Angie’s team reps say so. Remember the Gwen and Brad planned movie reunion that were in the internet for a while? Even Lainey got so excited since she adores the nostalgic pairing. Well, that news went down the tube fast. Now, a Billy Bob/Angie movie, pleeze. Thanks for the photo link Sherry. I miss seeing pictures of Angie.

I’m so happy to see my sweet Angelina! I know she still looks pregnant on these pics but you know Ange, she has a thing for comfortable, loose, flowing dresses so i don’t think we can really tell how big/small she truly is! It’s so typical that some stupid person would try make out that the blatantly obvious doll she is holding is Vivienne. Why do people talk so much crap just to get more responses..pfft. It also say’s something about there being loads of nannies there..well unless the nannies are an adult man and a young boy i can’t see any..

As a fan, I am also very excited with every new update and photo of the JPs family, but I do take a stance on which photos I will look at. I will not look at photos taken by serious intrusion of their privacy from helicopters. As much as I love to see them, I also want to give them the privacy and respect they deserve.
I hope the fans here will also consider this. The fewer the people who get access to those sites, the stronger the message to the tabloids and paparazzis that they are pushing the limits too far and that we will not support it.

I, too, feel terrible about the ‘voyeur’ factor involved here but love seeing my favourite hollywood family together like this. I think Brad himself even said that most of the attention paid to them comes from a good place, of people wanting the best for them. I don’t know how this agency gets away with taking these without being charged - isn’t it illegal in France to take these kinds of shots?
Even still….I must say that they look like a great big happy family, and it’s nice to see.

I think it was on one of the imdb boards that the x’s fans tried taunting us as Brangeloonies. I posted “Brangeloonie and Proud of It!” That stopped them. ;-)

Before I read Fan’s suggestion, I thoughtlessly clicked on a link at JJ, which of course took me to bauergriffin. I don’t know why I thought they would be different pics. I should have known any pics taken of the JPs at this time would be from a helicopter and intruded on their privacy.
Anyway, at bg I went to a link called “Shiloh Jolie Pulls a Rachel Bilson.” I saw of pic of Maddox there which disturbed me. In Box 2 on the right-hand side are 3 rows of pics when Angelina, Brad, Maddox and Shiloh shopped in Cannes. The bottom left picture is of Maddox with Angelilna behind him holding his hand and protecting him on both sides. He’s clutching a small toy cat, hamster - I couldn’t tell exactly. They’re surrounded by paparazzi and fans pressing against them. To me, Maddox looks very upset, hunted, hounded, and maybe even fearful. I don’t want Maddox and his sisters and brothers to feel this way. They shouldn’t have to.
And people like to make fun of Angelina (in my experience, they never make fun of Brad - Bill Maher is an example) carrying the kids when they can walk. I’d do the same thing to give my kids protection. Especially if I didn’t have bodyguards with me to help watch my kids and look out for any possible mishap or danger.

When you follow a link or are in JJ and there are pictures of them it is very hard not to look at them. I believe that the story that went along with the pictures said they were leaving on Monday to go to Greece to get on Paul Allen’s yacht. I find all of that to be very strange. I don’t know if they would take the newborn’s on a trip like that.

I saw the pics too..such a guilty pleasure as I really enjoyed seeing the JP family. It never ceases me to be shocked at how vicious the vitirol is against Angelina. Its awful that some people carry so much hate for someone they dont even know ..that is why it doesnt surprise me that they pay a fortune for security and really makes me happy that although they are aware of the crazies it doesnt stop them from living. I really really love this pair and am sooo excited to see the little babies

I don’t think there’s any truth about Greece trip, I doubt if Brad & Angie will leave the twins this early or maybe because Brad’s parents are there to babysit plus nannies. If they ever go to Greece it could be early commitments that they can’t turn down.
Some fans at JJ posted new pictures of the family today in their Miraval Estate. Brad playing with Shi, Angie standing by the door looking at Brad, his mom, & some kids, Brad putting water in the kiddie pool. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

Brad Pitt has invited critisism by having a Britney-style lapse in judgement and and driving with his daughter perched on his lap.
The actor was snapped with two-year-old Shiloh - who doesn’t appear to be wearing a seatbelt or a helmet - on his lap as he steered a golf buggy on a quad bike track during a family day out in the south of France.
“Children shouldn’t be sitting on parents laps when driving a vehicle because the child could be distraction to the driver,” says a spokeswoman for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
“And should there be an accident the child would be put in a dangerous position.”
She added, “Children should be in their own seat in the vehicle.”
In February 2006, Britney Spears famously provoked outrage when she was pictured driving in busy traffic with her then five-month-old son Sean Preston on her lap.

Sherry, this might be interesting. Apparently Brad has his lawyers on the case regarding these last set of photos:

Brad Pitt’s loudmouthed attorneys at Lavely & Singer are, preemptively, trying to clamp down on a series of photos that “were surreptitiously taken of Mr. Pitt and his family as they engaged in familial activities on private property, namely, in the privacy of the estate in which they are presently residing in France and where they had a reasonable expectation of privacy.” Not content with issuing a cease and desist letter after the pictures’ publication, L&S want to make sure these photos never make it into the public eye. Supposedly, the publication of these photos — showing Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie with the kids — infringe not just on Pitt’s privacy rights in the State of California, but also in France!
Except, according to one understanding of the law, this is wrong. Oh, and also? In Touch already published the pics.
In the U.S., aerial photos of private property haven’t exactly been viewed as invasions of privacy. If those cameras are aimed through windows to snap pictures indoors, well then maybe. But outdoor pics? Less so.
In France, the rules are much stricter, as we’ve noted before. The French take citizen privacy, even for celebs, much more serious, and make it a crime to publish pictures without consent, even when celebs have limited to no expectation of privacy. Except the rules might only matter when the pictures are published in France; the photos, if snapped in France and published elsewhere, are generally un-actionable.
This isn’t the first, nor the last time we’ll see Hollywood firms like Lavely & Singer protecting their clients’ photo privacy. The bulldog law firm went down this road before when topless sunbathing photos of Pitt’s own ex-wife Jennifer Aniston surfaced. Perhaps forecasting where Pitt’s own matter will end up, most web publications pulled those photos.
Indeed: Bauer-Griffin, the paparazzi agency behind the photos that today’s Lavely & Singer cease and desist letter is about, has taken their pictures down. But not before selling them to In Touch. We can’t find the pics on their website, but anybody can find the 20+ pictures in this week’s issue, on newsstands now.

Hi,
There is a lot of converstation on the web about Brad riding with Shi in a golf cart. Some positive. Some not. Most people realize that he is wearing a seat belt, and probably going less than 20 mph. Haters are in full force on this one. Any cause to trash Brad/Angie. I don’t get why they don’t get upset that these people are in their yard and people are snapping pictures. Of couse they want to imply the it is a staged photo op. Again I don’t understand all the hate. Well I just had to vent a bit. Love the Jolie-Pitts. If you have a chance check out youtube and find the interview he did with Oprah after making Troy, I know that was some time ago, but my point is I loved what he said about wanting to have all girls; “little her’s” he said. Made me want to cry. It was a great interview and showed how much he loved and respected Jen. This also proved to me at least that this man did not cheat and respected his marriage, things just ended. Sometimes even being married to your best friend does not a marriage make. Well I really admired him for what he said. I’m sure someone else can find something negative, but I took only the good from the interview.

Bauergriffon’s web site, from which the pics came, has removed the pics and retracted the Greece trip “news”. Good, Brad (or French authorities) have done their job. It is illegal to take such pics in France. We need a similar law here!

I came across an article on Reuters titled “Brad Pitt threatens legal action against family photos”. I’m glad he has done something about it to protect his family privacy and I fully support him on this. This means we won’t see any more of the family photos taken inside their home in France, but we should feel happy for them as they can now enjoy the privacy they deserve!

They do deserve privacy. But for those who think this Lainey person is a friend, be very careful. She seems to think quite frequently that everything they do is for publicity and control. If you look at what she has today, she basically accuses them of holding back photos to make more money if they do have photos of the twins taken, which to me is not something a friend says. She also accused them in the past of planning on adopting just before the Oscars for publicity, though it did not happen and also getting pregnant for the same reason. She also went after Angelina for not “meeting with Brad’s ex wife” just to embarass her. Again, not something a friend says.
Like all gossips, she should be taken with a grain of salt, just like US Weekly (a terrible article this week), Intouch and all the other tabloids.

All good points to think about, Terry. Yet, I think Lainey is on the friendly side even if she doesn’t gush over Angelina and Brad like she does over Gwyneth Paltrow, for example. Even with Gwyneth, Lainey points our her foibles. And have you read her posts about X, whom Lainey openly detests and whose opportunism and fame***** is constantly exposed? Did you read her Cannes posts about how the JPs looked and the Pitt Porn? (Nothing like Pitt Porn, she says.)
Yes, Lainey has said that Angelina and Brad are masters at working the media, and that she admires that ability, and she’ll alway buy/believe whatever they’re selling. She says some things a fan wouldn’t say - but then her credibility would be shot down as an independent blogger. This way, people believe the (IMO) overwhelming positive things she posts about the Jolie Pitts. About some of your examples, I don’t remember reading things that way @ Lainey’s. (My daily thing is to check Pittwatch first, then Lainey’s.)
If I took what Lainey posts about her mom and Chinese culture literally, I’d be howling with outrage. I give her a pass because 1) Lainey’s Chinese (I’d never give this leeway to any non-Asian), and 2) it’s her mom she’s talking about (a la Margaret Cho). It’s satire with an edge and affection.
I think Lainey’s more on the tongue-in-cheek parody side, not the vicious malice of the National Ledger, for example.

I love seeing pictures of the happy family, but I also feel bad that I’m snooping on private moments. I can’t imagine what it’s like to live with cameras everywhere. Even when you think you’re alone and isolated from the cameras, you’re not.
I think it’s awesome the way that Brad jumps so quickly to protect his family and their privacy.

We all agree about Pittwatch. There’s room for disagreement (which is totally OK) about a lot of other things, whether it’s Lainey, Jon Voight, whatever. :-) Hopefully my post (under moderation right now) will help in clarifying my opinion.
Not 100% sure, but I think it was Sherry who said she liked popsugar. I did too at first. For a while now, I (my own opinion) have considered popsugar, JJ, perezhilton, and jezebel more or less equivalent in the pro/con Angelina and Brad department. Meaning they’re all spotty and inconsistent on positive/negative coverage of the Jolie Pitts. Love JJ’s photos, but he and Perez have run things straight out of the tabs without question, e.g. the in vitro thing. Jezebel, for all its grrrll power attitude, more often than not is way biased against Angelina in a not-good-snarky way - and I’ve called them on it. What I’ve said about perez and JJ goes for popsugar too. Those are just my observations/experience.

Actually, I don’t like Lainey. She does not know anything about Brangie. Lately, she has lost her mind with stupid twins photos theories. May be they won’t sell. Who knows?
I know US Weekly is a waste of time but US Weekly story sicks to me. They are morons. But unfortunately, there are many idiots who believe this kind of stupid story. US Weekly= IN Touch=Life and Style=OK

I think we can all agree that this site is very consistent and for the most part, those not dedicated to Brad and/or Angelina are spotty at best. I totally agree about Perez, Popsugar etc. Sometimes good, sometimes not so much. Lainey’s whole column today was just bad from start to finish.
She believes and has stated many times that US and Janice Min are always right in what they say and she intimated (though there is nothing wrong with invitro) that Brad forced Angelina to have it to have a bio son. Which means they would have had to manipulate the process and even they are not that powerful. Plus, when would this have happened? They were only in New York for the first week of October and in sight every day (US says it happened in NYC in October) and then Angelina started work in LA immediately.
Invitro, again is not the issue. But to state that Brad forced Angelina to go through such an invasive procedure to have something he has stated clearly in the past made no difference to him (he said he wanted girls) is abhorent. But this is now the talk of the blogs with Lainey leading the way. Now she has gone again with a story about Jennifer Anniston.
But they all know this couple and any negative story about Angelina especially gets hits and nasty comments. I no longer read comments in most blogs as they show too much ignorance. Not just about this couple, but about alot of things. The internet allows people to speak without consequence, so hatred is easy to show.

Lainey does not know anything about Jolie-Pitts.
She pretends to be all-in know but she is not.
Her colum is popular with her sarcastic way of writing. We should read her colum just for fun
and should not take it seriously. People should know gossip blogs and gossip magazines exist for mass entertainment and not exist for reporting the truth. The truth is not what we are given by someone but we have to seek through our life.

RE: Driving with Shiloh in his Lap.
Whilst I appreciate people seeing this as the media having a ‘dig’ at Brad, you must be fair in that it was not safe to do ride with Shiloh on his lap, whether or not it looked cute in the pictures, and that Britney received horrendous flack for this when it happened to her.
It is not fair, simply because Brad is more popular of a parent, to simply put it down to him being right to do it and Britney not.
I hope next time he does remember to put Shiloh in her own seat and where a seat belt.
RE: IVF.
You can actually decide what sex you would like to be inseminated with, so Brad and Angelina could have easily asked for one female and Male.
If it is the case, which I have no idea whether it is or not but I am just commenting, Angelina would have had a few eggs harvested, they would be inseminated with Brad’s sperm and allowed to mature to the stage that it is possible to check for both abnormalities and sex, then they would have been inserted into Angelina.
The process of choosing the sex you wish to be artificially inseminated with is a process that is growing in popularity but it is expensive.
