Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fashion on the Berlin red carpet

Yesterday we weighed in on what we thought of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s style choices on the red carpet at the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in Berlin. The more I look at what Angelina wore, the more I like it, but I’m still wishing that the pants were a bit shorter. I realize that it’s a new style to have floor sweeping pants, but I just really like seeing her shoes! Plus, I’m short and pants often trail on the floor for me until I hem them and it drives me nuts so I don’t know how she didn’t go crazy walking that red carpet with those pants!

i wear pants like Angie is wearing ,maybe longer. it cost too much to have it hem, but she looks comfortable with it, and i sure do like it. Those two can make anything look so glamourous. it does not matter what their wearing. they look cute together, perfect, beautiful. get married please.
She looks awfully thin again IMHO. I love her dearly but I get worried that her fans will think it is cool to be so thin.
i don’t know why i like her hair and her one pair earring. maybe because it’s different from her usual style. she still looked glamorous for me. but i still hate her pantsuit. hehe. i am loving brad’s scarf.
yes Sherry, I do agree it would make the outfit perfect IF ONLY THE SHOES WERE PEEPING OUT A LITTLE BIT ! I imagine Angies shoes cost quite a lot too so it’s a pity not to see them. (and-hey! can you imagine trousers being made for an even longer leg than Angies ?? where did she get them from?
and btw, I so like that Brad and Angie can laugh and giggle – don’t you think that too many celebrities take their status far too seriously ?

but she did it nicely and its different. I saw a video with her walking away in this outfit and it looks good from the back also.

LOVED the suit – both. However, felt the blouse under the suit was a little too “older” looking for her. I LOVE anything she does and wear but the hair!!! Not sure if the hair stylist (German stylist tend to do more retro funk up-dos) was working the hair around the earrings. Asprey is EXTREMELY expensive and AMAZING jewellry – a little stunned she is only wearing 1 earring… I guess, one less thing to worry about! LOL
I like what Brad is wearing, as usual, but I have to admit that I think Angelina looks a little matronly. She’s only 33. Her outfit looks like something a modern mother of the bride might wear. Not that it’s not beautiful, and not that she doesn’t look great…it’s just a little mature on her for my taste.

Sherry, I agree, I don’t like the drape-over pants…I think it would be better if she had worn them with a very high Leboutin heel, with just a bit of toe and the spike showing.
I finally saw CCBB over the weekend and liked it a lot, although the theater was so full my girlfriend and I were in the second row! The film has been out for so long now, as we walked toward the specific theater I said, “Why is this movie so full even now?” A young man working as an usher who was standing nearby replied, “Because it is so wonderful and people are coming to see it more than once.” Wow, a ringing endorsement from a teenage movie usher.
I’m worried, though, that Academy voters will discount Brad’s subtle and quite moving performance because of all the CGI used to change his age throughout. It really is an unusual, remarkable performance. The film has had me contemplating my own age and my perceptions of aging in new ways since I saw it.
Angie’s makeup is wonderful. What a canvas to work with! And Brad only grows more handsome with age.

Angie looks stunning but not digging her outfit & hair. I really do like the one she was wearing in NOLA white dress with buttons at the bottom & hair make up with red lipstick.

I saw some pics of Angie on JJ and she looks absolutely gorgeous there (taken from different angles from the ones posted here). I think what Clint said about Angie is very true “she has the most gorgeous face on the planet!”. She looks stunning even with this hair.
Someone should tell Angelina she’s only 33 years old. It’s okay to look youthful and let your hair down. She’s been dressing too maturely for her age. I would have liked the suit if it wasn’t so loose on her and the hair was pulled away from her face on both sides. Whoever did her makeup did a great job. The smokey eyes and the glossy
lips look sexy. I do like that they always look comfortable in their skin no matter what they are wearing.
gena c, why should Brad and Angie have to get married if they don’t want to? I’m sorry, but it just gets me how some people think they HAVE to get married (NOT saying you did. You very easily could have just been saying that as wishful thinking.

Debra Conway, don’t worry, I think Angie herself is concious of that. I remember when she addressed her weight loss back in 2007, and one of the things she said was “Someone saying to me that I’m thin is not a compliment.” She also said that “Instead of people saying I look like a person dealing with something emotionally, they assume it’s because I want to fit into skinny jeans.”
To me, that sounds like it was Angie’s way of saying that she doesn’t try to be thin, and she doesn’t want her fans thinking it’s cool to be super thin. That said, I wish people would give Angie a break! She’s naturally thin, as she herself has said before.
The “Lara Croft” look (i.e., the buff, built-up body) is not her natural look, and I wish people would stop thinking it is. Also, she was breastfeeding twins up until three months ago, and she has mentioned in the past that she loses weight while nursing. On top of that, she has six kids to run around after all day!
All things considered, it really shouldn’t be THAT much of a shock that she’s a little on the thin side right now!
Oh, and Angie also said back in 2007 that “I don’t encourage young girls to be too thin.”
The article says that she may have worn the nude flats she wears so often, but if you look closely at the first picture, it looks like she’s wearing peep-toe pumps!
They voth look just STUNNING! That white pant suit Angie was wearing suits her very well. I´ve always wanted to know if pant suit is Angie´s thing and now I think it is. She should wear it more often. And what about Brad? He looked very dapper in that Tom Ford suit and that scarf! He probably is starting a new fashion trend among men because that scarf suits him well. They look so in love. Obviously this time they´ve spent as a family in Berlin has worked wonders for their happy relationship. Hopefully they´ll return to France after SAGs. There they can relax before Angie starts filming Salt at the end of February. God bless the JPs!
angelina is not promoting being thin, angie is just naturally slim, and we fans know this, we don’t want to copy her as we are not angelina, we are ourselves and know angelian is not too skinny, tabloid talk please no
A very old school hollywood look! I can’t say one way or the other whether I like it, its just ok. But, as I have said before bring back the edge. Don’t go completely sedate on me AJ your edginess and honesty is what I loved.
I’m not a fashonista so I think that whatever she’s wearing is just gorgeous. Like most of you said, she looks great in pretty much everything! I am a little concerned too about her being too thin. I hope she gains a little more weight. I kinda saw her ribs sticking out in of the the pics and she looked anorexic. I do like her better with a little more. She looks healthier that way. BTW, does anybody know where SALT is being filmed?
I really like the look they both have.I think the pant suit looks awesome on Angie and I like her hair up.Brad is so handsome in Tom Ford(of course Brad would be handsone in a potato sack)They look like they are having a good time laughing with each other.It must be hard to be parents to six kids and then have to pull out all the stops and be drop dead gorgeous for a red carpet premier.They pull it off so well.I bet they are like the rest of us ordinary folks who can’t wait to get home and get out of our dressy clothes and into something comfy.
If they are like the rest of us we never have a chance to go all out and get dressed up, and I for one would take full advantage of it. You don’t even get really dressy for weddings anymore.
by the way did you notice the heels on Brads shoes. I was wondering why he was looking a lot taller than AJ in heels.

I actually like the hair and the stunning single earring, if only cause she’s changing it up a bit. As for the pants, they need to be hemmed, plain and simple. Even if they had been, this suit is just not quite there. I agree with one poster who said Ange looks great in pant-suits, but one with some structure to it, please! Also, I know she loves white and black, but is anyone else really hoping she’ll wear color to the Oscars? I loved her yellow dress at Cannes.
omg angie had such a delicious body post baby….. but now? back to so skinny…. sigh…. angie i know having 6 babies is not an easy job to do, but still you need to take care of urself!!! i am a big fan but i need to say the truth
TL Uncool J, I couldn’t agree with you more! I was recently re-reading some old posts here on PittWatch, and came across an excellent comment on the post about Angie adressing her weight loss back in 2007. The commentor pointed out that Angelina’s “thin” is different from the “thin” that, for example, Nicole Richie and Kate Botsworth used to be.
While Angie is thin, she still seems to look healthy otherwise: Good muscles/muscle tone, healthy (and beautiful!) looking skin, etc. These are all signs that a person is healthy despite being thin. Angie, as I and other PittWatchers have said, is naturally thin. We’re just not used to seeing her like that since, in the past three 1/2 to four years, she’s been pregnant twice, and prior to that was bulked up for MMS and Tomb Raider.
I also want to point out that some naturally skinny people DO sometimes look slightly skelatal, just as some people are naturally chubbier. That’s just the way their bodies are made.
