Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie place on Empire’s “Sexiest Movie Stars” list
October 19, 2009 by Sherry
In news which isn’t overly surprising, both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie placed high on Empire’s “Sexiest Movie Stars” list. Well, no kidding right? Of course they did!

Although neither one held the top spot in the list, they both placed in the top five. Angelina Jolie came in second place, being edged out by Megan Fox. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt came in fourth, with the top position going to Johnny Depp, followed by Robert Pattinson in second and Robert Downey Jr. in third.
Of course, I personally think Brad should have placed higher, although I must confess that Johnny Depp is a mighty fine looking man, so I can really handle him placing first as well. I most definitely think that Angelina should have placed higher than Megan Fox but the thing about looks and sex appeal is that it’s all subjective of course, so our favorites won’t always place on top. Ah well.
I’m sure that at night when Brad and Angelina slip into bed, neither minds that the other isn’t number one on Empire’s list!

I don’t know, I’m 35 and there are some days where my goodness, I feel old. The things that make me feel oldest are when I throw out my back (usually for no good reason, like picking up a sock off the floor) or when I mention some sort of TV show, celebrity, or song and get a blank stare from some young kid. Yikes!
As for your discussion, I think that liking or disliking someone is just as subjective as these “most beautiful” or “sexiest” lists. I don’t know enough about him to make a decision on him as a person but I really do not like Nic Cage as an actor. I don’t find him to be very good and only watch his movies because he tends to get exciting films, but I don’t like him as an actor at all, whereas some people really enjoy him.
I think it’s okay to dislike a celebrity – after all we can’t all like everyone, no matter how nice that might be in theory – as long as it’s not nasty. I even respect people who don’t care for Angelina or Brad as long as they don’t use name-calling to express it.
I think it’s really all in the wording.
Sherry,
I still can’t believe your a fan of Britney and Aguilera. Have you been a fan from the beginning? By the way I love the other sites you do. Especially the chaos theory, a little look into the life of someone who you talk to and think you know, and you find out all sorts of stuff and realize you really don’t know this person at all, the web can be a very interesting place.
