  Does anyone know if Brad Pitt chews tobacco? I know he smokes and rumor has it he wants to stop because of the kids. He holds his mouth in a strange way lately. See the picture above and the one when he is exiting the airport doors. Maybe he’s just tense, but he looks like he has something like tobacco in his mouth. Maybe it is nicotine gum. I know some people who use it just hold in in their mouths.

  Whether she can walk or not, it is probably safer to carry a child under three, they don’t alway’s listen and can be impulsive. When my grands were under three it took a long time to let them stroll, what with looking here, going there (only grandma had time for that). As it is, this family needs a body guard. I’m sure they have to be extra cafeful. I admire them for even going to the museum, the children are pretty well behaved for a group under six.

  At Shiloh’s age you can’t let her walk around the paparazzis, I’m sure she is by now walking, in Prague, there’s a picture of Shi with her dad’s watchful eye that she is standing by herself while peeking inside her brother’s tent. I’m sure both mommy & daddy are very protective of the kids, that’s the reason, they are always holding them. I can see Ange & Brad’s face in Shiloh’s face, so cute & adorable. She is also chubby, well taken care of. Once she grow up a little bit bigger & becomes more active, she will start to lose that baby fat. They are so awesome to see.

  I thing Shiloh is spitting image of Bradd still, the head, forehead and eyes especially. She has only Angie’s lips.

  Loren i agree totally, Shiloh walking would slow them down, dangerous even with the paps having them in sight.

  Caroline; I guess it could be gum or a sweet of some sort. Then again if I had to wade through paparazzi each time I stepped out of house, guess I would be too.

  I know that Brad is trying to quit smoking because of the kids, he does smoke once in a while (behind Ange’s back). I’m not sure if he completely quit.
  Have you seen the new pictures of them at their dinner date last night? It was awesome, Brad was holding Ange’s hand so tight, he is so protective of her & didn’t want to let her go. The papz are swarming like bees around them. So beautiful pictures of them together so much love in the air. It was after their family tour of the Field Museum.

  i just had a weekend with my daughter, my nephews and nieces. all of them are under 6. it’s chaotic but lots of fun. i can imagine brad and angie’s life with their kids. the day was full of our screaming at them and them fighting each other over toys or cookies. and i feel really blessed for having a family time like that.
  i’m a total sucker of the jolie pitt’s kids. all of them are with their own cuteness! thank you sherry!

  Shiloh has been walking since her first birthday! Angie said in an interview with Marie Claire in May that she is walking, “so she’s falling and trying to eat everything in the place.” LOL!

  I love this family to bits, they are SO beautiful! Angie and Brad are used to this business by now, and probably feel a lot safer holding their kids while around crowds and paparazzi. Even Zahara, at two years old, must feel more secure in the arms of her mama or dad when all these people are calling out to them and jostling for the perfect picture. I think Angie was still carrying Maddox around when he was three or four years old (by that time she had too many children to carry in her arms at once!)

  Funny thing is that when I think of Angie+Brad=Love=Maddox,Pax,Zahara & Shiloh. That family needs to be on a Gap Ad, Banna Republic Ad or Benneton Ad. The Ad concept should be called “True Love”.

  Seperately, they were okay. Although, because Angelina and Maddox were the absolute cutest mother son duo on the planet they were far more interesting than Brad. When I saw Mr.& Mrs. Smith I thought Brad and Ang were an attractive couple like so many movie star couples in movies. But, I was not subscribed to any blogs about them, or looking forward to reading articles about them or supporting any of their causes, I was not even running out to see their movies like am now.

  However, when Brad became Mad’s Dad, and they brought Zahara home, it elivated their stardom to Movie stars/Rock stars. They are such a beautiful family. The Jolie-Pitts are terribly interesting and have become a national obession. They have replaced JFK jr and Carolyn Bassett in the US and are larger that princess Diana.

  I think that to americans they embody an American is suppose to be; unorthodox, goes against old world traditions and is successful and confident; a kick ass working Mom who is nontraditiona with totall sex appeal, with an georgeous sucessful Dad who completely adores his family and dotes over them; and a bunch of blended children who are well rounded, and who are loved children who come first.

  To me the Jolie-Pitts represent the american ideal, and most people wish they had the courage to live life to the fullest, love passionately, and contribute to humanity unselfishly. Most of us dream of it in our 20’s, yet we settle for what lifes brings us by our late 30’s and we admire and live vicariously though people like Jolie-Pitts by our 40’s.

  Kudos to Jolie Pitts for living life on their own terms.

  Brad, in my opinion, do not even appear to acknowledge Angelina in the pictures to the museum. He is walking way ahead of her as if she is not even there. Now, for the pictures at the dinner, he seems happy, but can not quite say the same thing about Angelina. I think this is just a photo-op, and the second they are finished Brad returns back wherever he flew in from, which I believe is LA.

  It appears to me he is focused on Pax, and making sure Pax pays attention and gives Daddy his hand while walking. With four kids at the museum, I am sure that the parents due have their moments. But my goodness, are they not entitled to argue or be ticked at one another?? Good Lord, give them a break. You act like they are suppose to be on at all times. To me they are normal family leaving the museum. It was different when they just had Maddox and they took him to the mueum. Not they have a six year old, two toddlers and babby to manage. Frankly, they seem to be managing them well.

  Actually, People magazine had an article recently about the Pitt Jolies. They do have a nanny for every kid. But they do not have the nannies hold the kids when they are out in public. Bad publicity.

  Think about it, they have to have nannies. Look at all the pics of when the two of them are out with 2 or three of the kids. Who do you think are watching the other ones? Shiloh doesn’t go to daycare.

  Angelina said in some of the Cannes interviews that they had a couple of nannies in opposite shifts, and only used them when there was complete chaos, like bath & bedtime. When they had only Mad & Z, they didn’t use nannies. In all the time Angelina has had Mad, from infant to Shiloh’s birth, I’ve never seen/heard of a nanny. Angelina even had a hard time letting Brad help care for Mad, at first. She’s like a lioness when it comes to her cubs.

  Demi Moore was the first actress I heard of having a nanny for each of her kids (the kids are teenage now). Heidi Klum has been pictured with all 4 nannies & 4 kids, even when her mom and others are with them. There’s this wonder African American nanny that Hollywood parents go to (including Julia Roberts) who’s not very well-publicized. There are a lot of Hollywood mothers who’re credited with raising their kids themselves who’e had her invaluable help.

  Know what nannies in large families are called? Older sisters and brothers. Or Mom, Gran, Aunt. In the Philippines, teachers on up have maids, nannies, and sometimes other helpers. Not that Filipino eachers make a lot of money, just that the poverty is so extreme people work for next to nothing as servants.

  When I was a kid, only royalty and people like the Rockefellers had nannies for their kids. With both parents working long hours, nannies have become more common, especially among professional women.
