Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to produce
(No, not REproduce, no one is pregnant yet!)

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are joining up to produce a project for HBO, taking their relationship from personal to professional again. They will be teaming up with Scott Burns - Burns was a co-writer for the Bourne Ultimatum and also produced An Incovenient Truth - to bring a heavy drama series to the screen. Although it is currently unnamed, it will show us the behind-the-scenes politics of international aid organizations. It will also follow the lives of some of the humanitarian workers who are assigned to particularly dangerous areas and show us some of the people that they help while they’re there.
This is the perfect project for Angelina in particular, considering her ongoing work with the UNHCR and her own travels to dangerous, war-ravaged areas. The series is something she has been interested in doing since 2003 when she filmed Beyond Borders. Since both Brad and Angelina are such active humanitarians, it will be amazing to see their passion for helping others translated onto the screen.
Brad Pitt is already the executive producer along with Edward Norton for an HBO-National Geographic miniseries called Undaunted Courage, about a journey across the Western U.S. in the 1800s by renowned explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark.
I can’t wait to see the new Jolie-Pitt series. I’ve seen Beyond Borders several times and I also love books like The Poisonwood Bible and movies like Blood Diamond, where you see glimpses of humanitarian efforts, but it will be even more interesting to see the behind-the-scenes action to really understand how it all works.

I support the charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (also known as, Doctors without Borders)
I only give $25 a month. However, according to their…. “what your support provides”…. listing on their website, that small amount appears to be well spent.
I greatly admire Angelina Jolie for her unwavering support of charities and her willingness to actually get her hands dirty in the field.
I read that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated $1 million dollars to Doctors without Borders. Makes my $300 a year look measly but I am sure every dollar helps.

I just love this family. No matter what some people like “pangit” Donald put them down, they still shine and go on with their own business without retaliation. That is the sign of someone with real class. I think people criticize them to get publicity since they are the most popular couple today. Too bad, it can backfire against some people.

Hahaha for Donald Trump, he wants publicity, he got one even in the expense of Ange.
I’m so happy to hear that they are teaming up to produce & team up, something to look forward to.
Last night, my husband & I watched The Assassination of Jesse James at TinselTown,it was a long & slow at the beginning but the end was really pretty cool, because after the Assassination of Jesse James, Bob Ford continue to lived his life & uses his assassination to act on a play but then at the end he was also assassinated. I will not tell all the story but make sure to watch it if you can. I still plan to buy the AMH dvd on the weekend.
Thanks Sherry for the new info.

A series would allow them a way to continue with their careers and stay in one place with their family. I hope it works out for them. I do not have HBO now but if Angelina and Brad create a good series I will get it.

I wonder if anyone has investigated the article about Angie drinking on the front cover of In Style magazine?
Sherry

It’s not In Style magazine which is an actual reputable magazine that focuses mostly on style - both fashion and home.
It was on the cover of Life & Style magazine which is one sad little tabloid rag. They alternate between saying the couple is splitting up and getting married, adopting, not adopting, pregnant, not pregnant, ad nauseum. The so-called “binge drinking” is just one more thing to sell. People want to read about Brad and Angelina so anything on the cover sells the trash inside. If you buy the actual magazine (something I don’t encourage) it will probably be full of hearsay and backpedalling.
If it was in People it would be believable. If it’s in Life & Style, it’s pretty much kindling. Give them another couple of weeks and they’ll be writing some crap about how they’re going to get married in a secret ceremony in Brad’s parents’ home over Thanksgiving. Whatever.

Brad and Angie should sue that magazine for all it’s worth!!!!! I actually thought it was a reputable magazine and was shocked for I haven’t seen this written about them anywhere else.

The magazine is trash. They should not waste their time suing them. They have better things to do.

Brad did a great job in Jesse but Casey Affleck stole the show!

Lori, don’t believe what you read in the tabloids mags. I used to when I haven’t discovered Pittwatch.com & JustJared, now I only buy people mag which is reliable compared to others. Some pictures of Ange taken in Changeling shooting, one picture seems like she has a small bump showing. Can she be pregnant again? Let’s wait & see.

I do love the clothes in this era! I was particularly impressed with Brad showing up to present Casey with an award for his performance in Jesse, and Casey owes Brad big time, Brad recommended him for the role and it will be a major boost to his career!
