Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - Top posts of 2007

Today, on the last day of 2007, I thought I would compile a list of my favorite posts from each month in the life of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I didn’t include January since I only started writing here on the last day of February. So, without further ado, here are some of my favorite moments in the Jolie-Pitt world:

  1. February 2007 - My first post on this site after taking over from Robyn!
  2. March 2007 - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie take Zahara and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt for a stroll in New Orleans (in the best boots EVER), then Angelina Jolie flies to Vietnam to officially adopts Pax Thien.
  3. April 2007 - Angelina Jolie at the Tribeca film festival.
  4. May 2007 - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the Cannes red carpet, tied with Brad Pitt and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt hang out in Prague.
  5. June 2007 - Brad Pitt and George Clooney hamming it up at Guamann’s Chinese Theatre for Ocean’s 13, as well as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the Ocean’s red carpet.
  6. July 2007 - The Jolie-Pitt family gets in a bit of relaxing with Mariane Pearl in France, as well as some hilarity from Brad PItt and George Clooney.
  7. July 2007 - Honorable Mention when I wrote about doing the blogathon over on my personal blog to raise money for the UNHCR - I have to include this post just because thanks to all of you, I managed to raise several thousand dollars for refugees in need and I can not thank you enough for that.
  8. August 2007 - Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s way-cool birthday party and the entire Jolie-Pitt family on a boat ride.
  9. September 2007 - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the red carpet in Venice for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and again on the red carpet in Toronto.
  10. October 2007 - Angelina Jolie and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt visit Brad Pitt while on the set of Burn After Reading.
  11. November 2007 - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the Beowulf premiere and manage to squeeze in a date night in London.
  12. December 2007 - Brad Pitt on Charlie Rose (video), and the entire Jolie-Pitt family out for a bike ride in New Orleans.
  13. December 2007 - Honorable Mention - In response to Brad Pitt’s quest to re-build the Lower Ninth Ward, the Pittwatch readers help sponsor NOLA housing, way to go guys!

I wish all of you the very best for 2008. Whether you’re going out to a party tonight or celebrating at home with loved ones, I hope you have a wonderful and SAFE evening.

This site is fun to write because - obviously - I am a huge fan of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and all the Jolie-Pitt kids. I would enjoy it no matter what, but it’s the comments and the interaction and the off-topic conversations that sprout up in the comment threads that really make this site worthwhile. For all the effort I put into finding stories and photos for you to enjoy, I get it all back from all of you. I appreciate all of you who are silent readers, and I adore all of you who speak up. Thank you for being here with me all these months, and I hope you’ll stick around for the next year to read about our favorite family because Pittwatch wouldn’t be the same without you!

    Hello .
    I just wanted to say I love this site I really can’t live all day with out checking in a few times though out the day to see if theres some thing new up..
    I am sooo Thankful to you for this Great Great site.
    At one point I had lost you for some un know reason and my Day’s just sucked so bad. Until one day I logged on and there was something posted I was so happy I started crying ..
    My daughter asked why are you crying and all I could get out was Thier Back..

    I know I don’t leave comment’s I think I did maybe 2 time’s but know this I love this site, and will always be here reading ..

    I never thought I would post on a site, but I did and its b/c this site is so wonderful. Its odd how we’ve become a bit of a “community” nee a family on here. I hope Brad and Angelina know how much we admire and respect them, and that they inspire us.
    Sherry, you’re an inspiration too! Im a college student and don’t get to donate much, but I can run my mouth for free. I talk about all the topics I’m passionate in, every chance I get.

    I’m fairly new, so I enjoyed the recap of their year. There were pics I had not seen yet. Thanks Sherry- for all your work. You’re doing a great job! I, too, check for new posts on this sight several times each day. I’m hooked!

    You’re such a good hearted person and I also love your take on the lives of the Jolie-Pitt family. It is respectful here, and I’ve been enjoying the intelligence of the posts as well as the broadening of other people who know what’s happening in the exciting, inspirational, much admired JP clan. What a great year it’s been for both their careers and outreach efforts - such a pleasure!!! Happy 2008 - the year of accountability - let’s vote in a great new president!     Thank you very much for this site. It’s so refreshing to see a site that doesn’t dabble in gossip, because every other blog doesn’t ignore negative news and rag mag rubbish, they revel in it.

    It’s so nice to have a neutral place where we can share our admiration for Brad, Angie, and the entire clan of the Jolie-Pitt children.

    Here’s hoping that Brad and Angie have all the opportunity, and keep their huge hearts open, to help the world, and do something good with the star power that they have. They’re so refreshing in a world gone selfish and mad. They are an inspiration, not just that you have to be a celebrity to create a difference in the world, but their encouragement that one person + one person + one person, etc, can change the world entirely.

    Thank you for your lovely and thoughtful posts this past year Sherry. As said before, this site is an oasis…when things got really bad in other places I knew I could always come here fore news without an agenda and respectful comments.

    Thanks for the re-cap, I will be bookmarking it to review whenever things are slow or when I feel nostalgic.

    This site is great, thanks Sherry for all your hardwork. I don’t make posts often, but like Deana I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work updating this site so we can all have a place to come together and read about this wonderful family.
