Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s L.A. date night

In further proof that Brad Pitt is perfectly fine after falling off his motorcycle (and also perfectly fine in that “rawr” kind of way), last night Brad and Angelina had a date night at Ceccino’s restaurant in Los Angeles. Angelina wore a super-sexy dress – black and clingy with a partially open back and paired it with Christian Louboutin heels. I’d gotten so used to seeing her in her loose and flowing maxi dresses lately that I had almost forgotten how amazing she looks in a body-hugging outfit!
Meanwhile, Brad looked mighty good as well. He was a bit more casual than Angie was, dressed in dark colors. They both looked pretty happy other than a few shots where Brad looks on edge as he tries to drive out of the parking lot. I’d be on edge too, the video that X17 caught shows an insane amount of camera flashes going off and someone actually had to tell everyone to let the car get through.
Really, I’m amazed that people don’t get run over more, what with the way they all stand in front of celebrities’ cars when they’re trying to drive.
It was part business for Brad and Angelina. Angie had a book called Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide and it seems that the two-hour dinner was also a meeting regarding its launch. It’s not much of a surprise that Angelina would be interested by such a book, considering all her work with oppressed refugees via the UNHCR.
According to X17, another restaurant patron said, “Brad and Angelina looked really happy to be together. Angelina was holding Brad’s hand and she was smiling the whole time. They both seemed proud of each other.” Awww.
I read those comments from time to time. People are insane on the internet. Anyone who follows this couple and has for awhile knows as much of what is true as possible for anyone outside their family to know. They are obviously a strong, happy family unit. And really why wouldn’t they be. They have the most wonderful life full of meaning and love and opportunity. The masses want them to break up just to make themselves feel better about their own life. You never know what will happen in any partnership/marriage, but hopefully these two will make it. Raising a family isn’t easy, but they appear committed to their children and to their life’s work together.
If they have another kid, what do you think they will do about a vehicle? I don’t know why I keep wondering this, but once you get past six I think you have to have a bigger type van. I know they take the kids out as a group and probably more than we know. Wonder what they’d do…
Angie’s face is unbelievable. I mean to look like that through the windows of a car at the end of the night with a thousand flash bulbs (which aren’t flattering). Sheesh.
Oh and I feel bad for JA too. It would be painful enough to watch Brad’s life play out as it is after losing your life with him-even if it was something that she wanted to. No one could be immune to that. Nonetheless, JA seems very confident, intelligent, and happy despite all the stuff the media throws at her all the time.

The point is, I shouldn’t really mind what the majority of people think because lately it looks like masses have neither a good taste nor a good judgment, so it makes you feel better to be a part of the minority. But it is so hard to ignore all the hatred when Angelina is promoting so many good things! The world would be a much better place if more people started looking up to her!
She is famous and a great role model (so rare these days), yet she is being torn to pieces by the media and people because nobody can stand the fact that she has a successful career, happy family life, great looks and is actually devoting her life to make a difference in this world. And another good thing about Angelina is that she wasn’t always perfect (noone is) and she herself said she did some stupid things in the past, but she has learnt from her mistakes and found some meaning in her life. I think this is even more fascinating, somebody being so confused about everything and then to become the person she is now. She could have based her whole career on her looks and that would be the end of the story. But she chose a different path …
Thanks to those who provided the information about Alison Samuels new piece on Z’s hair. I was reluctant to check it out, but I discovered the comments to be more informative, well-written, and entertaining than the actual article. It looks like Newsweek wants to drag it out for a third week. This time they are inviting bloggers to join in the discussion on Friday.

I can’t remember which website (go figure) but I just read that George Clooney just bought the estate right next to Brangies in France…less than 2 miles away…it said it was confirmed by the real estate agency…how cool!!

You’re welcome Jacqueline. (: It is very moving and she had me crying, numerous times. I learned so much from that book. Its a an unbelievable read and her writings are so honest and real. I also think people that carry the “poor me” attitude around should seriously read that, and start following her and Brad’s work and interviews.
I am so impressed with the maturity here. I am personally not a fan of Jennifer’s, but I did enjoy Friends a lot. And she doesn’t seem like a bad person or anything. I’m just more of a drama fan then romantic comedy.
And I have such a huge amount of respect for people who give so much to those who are in desperate need.
I’m sure they will have another child. Maybe they will adopt from Africa again? Mad and Pax are both from Asia, Shiloh and the twins may not be from the same country, but they can look at each other and see themselves in a way, kind of like the older boys can… so maybe they feel Z should have that too. And they will need to buy a BUS. :XD: j/k. They will have to get a big van of some sort yeah. Like the family on TLC.
Just wanted to say I agree with the posters who are disturbed by the prospect of Andrew Morton’s book. Unfortunately I suspect the book may be taken more seriously than it should be. It is well know that Princess Diana urged friends to talk to Andrew Morton and passed on information via them to him. Because she gave him as much co-operation as she could at the time the book was seen as an ‘unofficial’ official story – bit of contradiction in terms but there you go. As a result his subsequent publications have been taken more seriously as it assumed that he is the man to get inside knowledge. I find it sad the way he is going after a star whose talent and commitment to good causes I and many other people respect. Unfortunately the tabloids have shown their is a big market out there for dissing the Jolie-Pitts.

Off topic: Okay…this is truly disturbing. The home burglaries of stars like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, & Megan Fox were committed by teenagers who surfed the celebrity websites and
created a wish list of the celebrity’s clothes and jewelry, then they cased the home while they were away and broke in. They were just recently apprehended. It just reinforces the reason why the JPs have tight security. Here’s the link & excerpt from the article.

Faye88, i’m kinda skeptical about this burglary. they are celebrity who can buy millions of worth of homes but they can’t afford to have burglar alarms? basing on the list, who knows if it’s just pr stunt? but anyway, if it’s true, i feel bad for them.
and about that Angie book, just ignore it. haters will never stop on hating. and this author desperately seeks for fame. if Angie is going to give attention to it, the book will have publicity and might sell so it’s so much better to ignore it. btw, that same author was the one who wrote on his book that MJ was gay – duh!(rolleyes)

Marissa what a great comment.Everybody here at Pittwatch seems to be more matured fans than other blog sites.I just wish the media will give more attention to the positive things the JP’s are doing instead of the tabloid lies that they are planting to the mind of those who never knew the real truth about the real Brad & Angie. What a shame Journalism went downhill, maybe a few are still reliable but not so many are around anymore. Most of them, money becomes their priority instead of writing the truth.
Marie, I am Filipina but doesn’t live there anymore, we go home every 5 years. Your husband will like Cebu,it’s a lot better & beautiful than Manila.
In 2 years, we are going home & Cebu is one of the places we plan to visit.

Jah-they so don’t seem like the giant van types. LOL. But that’s what they’d have to do i guess.
I do see them adopting again. Maybe another baby from Africa. I really wonder if they weren’t meeting a child when they went at Queen Noor’s request a week or so ago. Remember they met pax weeks before they actually adopted him? They sneaked into vietnam and then the media caught them after a bit. It wasn’t until later that they went back and got him. But I’d think they’d adopt from Africa again first so maybe that really was just a visit.
I don’t think the negative media attention hurts them a bit. They’ve been trying to paint her as a snake for 5 yrs and look where she is. On top of the world. Most influential celebrities in the world. I imagine they embrace it. The more attention they get, the greater ability they have to raise awareness in the areas they want. They get more comments on the trashy celeb sites than anyone. They may be often negative, but people are listening and looking and it’s not because they just hate them so much. They can’t look away.

Thanks for the photos of this great couple, I think we shouldn’t worry so much about the bad comments, I always read here people send their blessings to the JPs and with all the good they do, they must be getting good energy all the time from so many parts of the world, that is why they always look good, happy and are loved and admired by some many people. I think they are protected, we say here what you give comes back to you, so I’m sorry for all those persons who say bad things about them, they must be very unhappy. I know im a little late on this topic but…
I hate it when people still talk about JA like she matters in brads life at all. And for the record i have always been a fan of hers and i do really like her so im not meaning any disrespect. But she is just his ex to whom he has no ties. They have no kids and may never see each other as long as they live. He may never have married angie, but HE HAS SIX KIDS WITH HER!! That is a WAAAY bigger commitment than signing a piece of paper. He is connected to her forever no matter what now. His relationship with angie trumps any relationship he has ever had before, marriage or not. I just cant stand people who dont get the big picture. He didnt leave his wife on a whim and go find someone else. He made a decision to get out of a relationship that he was obviously unhappy in and found love and made a life and a family with the right person. And im sure that JA would agree that it is very over and soo old to talk about them as if they have anything to do with each other anymore. Its just another stupid way to bank off of the jolie pitt family popularity. It underestimates the relationship brad and angie have which i think is beautiful. I think they are devoted to each other till death do them part (and for real this time), even if they didnt sign a piece of paper. And i think they knew that the day brad was introduced to maddox.

Jah- I think they will definently adopt from Africa next. Angie said shortly after Pax’s adoption that they wanted to “balance the races” in the house, so that each kid has someone who looks like them.
Jah – I´ve been wondering the car thing too. Brad and Angie will very likely have more children in the future and will need a much bigger car. I think that you means the Gosselins when you referred to the family in TLC. I´ve watched that Jon & Kate plus eight reality show for some time now and I can´t imagine how they manage those eight. And I kind of feel sorry for Kate Gosselin now that she and Jon arfe going through the divorce and she has to take care of the children all by herself. Tough job for anyone. Can´t only imagine how stressed out she must be. Thank God Angie has Brad to help her with six kids. They certainly don´t need a bus because the older children – Mad and Pax – don´t need car seats anymore. They´re big boys. And maybe even Princess Zee doesn´t want to sit in the car seat from time to time. She´ll be 5 soon and sure wants to get rid of car seat. So that leaves only Shi and the twins who need car seats. And joliepittfanatic – I agree with you too. I really think that the next child Brad and Angie will adopt will be from Africa. Mad and Pax are from Asia, Shiloh and the twins have each other so Zahara is the only one who doesn´t have anyone from her own race. God bless this family!
They don’t have to adopt from Africa to balance the races, they can adopt from Haiti, Brazil etc People of African descent are found in many countries

I do watch that show from time to time, but I try to avoid all the media surrounding their divorce. I feel depressed when I read negative things about people, and a little guilty too… so many things reported are lies you just dont know what to believe. They have 8 beautiful kids, I just hope that they can figure things out and I wish them all well. Oh and I think that Angie had once said that she wasn’t sure if she would have been able to adopt again after Maddox if she didn’t have Brad. I know she wanted a huge family, but I guess she wasn’t sure if she could do it all by herself? Don’t hold me to that though, I can’t remember exactly where I heard it.

Yoco- Well, when they adopted Pax to start “balancing the races”, they went back to Asia, where Maddox was adopted. I think that’s why most people, myself included, feel they will go back to Africa for their next adoption. Plus, Ethiopia is very near and dear to their hearts, so I can see them adopting from there again.
Oh, and here’s my two cents on the issue of what they will do about a vehicle once they expand their family again. Personally, I think they might just start using TWO vehicles whenever they have to go somewhere, especially considering that they usually bring along minimal security (i.e. maybe one or two body guards) when they go out as a family (in otherwords, there would be more 9 people that they’d need to fit in a vehicle once J-P kid number 7 comes along).

I agree JPF. They do charity work in Africa, it makes sense that they would adopt from there again. Maybe in Ethiopia yeah, or it could even be Sierra Leone, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania.. any of them. Obviously only they know what they are going to do next, but it’s just a thought. (:

I would prefer that they adopt from Latin America a spanish speaking child of African descent. Then their family would consist of people born in 5 of the 7 continents, N.America(Brad and Angie)Europe(Knox and Viv)Africa(Zahara and Shiloh) Asia( Maddox and Pax) and S. America . Not that it matters what I would prefer (smiles) Have a nice weekend
yoco- Well, you never know. They might adopt a child from South America after adopting from Africa again. After all, it seems doubtful their next child will be their last! Knowing them, they’ll probably keep going until they have a soccer team.
