  I’m surprised actually…because the babies are so little, I was thinking they would wait at least until mid-August when they had a chance to pick up a little weight. The pressure to keep them inside and away from PAPZ must be the reason, so that they do not have to deal with the stalking. Remember the day they were all out in the yard and AJ, Z & Shi were in black? I bet that was photo day. May the JP Family be growing stronger every day. Peace Out!!!

  My goodness, that is quick. I believe Brad and Angie want to get the pictures out quickly so the paps will leave them alone. I guess the twin babies will look much smaller than Shiloh when her photos were taken.

  I’m so excited to see the photos. I hope Sherry will post the pics and the interview on this site otherwise I will have to wait for a week or two before the magazine arrives here.

  The twins were about 5lbs at birth and it’s been more than 3 weeks since birth right? So may be the twins are around 6 lbs now??

  Hello will come out Tue instead of Mon but People will be in the stores its normal release day generally Fri They are going to publish some of the pics online sunday but you won’t be able to buy the magazine until the end of the week .I usually receive my copy Fri in the mail

  I have been trying to remain calm since the twins were born and act like the mature older woman I am, but I am so excited. I can hardly wait for Sunday night. In addition to seeing Knox and Vivi I hope there be a nice family picture. I guess I know what most of us will be doing at 7pm Sunday night.

  I wish I was going to be sitting at the computer at 7pm to see the pics but it will have to wait till Monday as I am going to the cottage (not even a TV). Which I must say is very relaxing most of the time but on these occations can be frustrating.

  I wonder how honest will you be about the pics of the twins? Now don’t everyone jump down my throat at once, all I am saying is it is never a guarantee that these babies will be beautiful. Brad and AJ are without a doubt beautiful, they have made one gorgeous child, and chosen 3 other amazing children, what are the odds. And don’t everyone say all babies are beautiful because that is just not true. So to repeat my question how honest will you be, out of your love for this couple and their family will you wear rose coloured glasses, and say all the proper thing? I personally don’t find the appeal of babies, I prefer them when they become more active and animated (when they have personality around 6-9 months), even my own. I personally think newborn babies all look the same. Just remember this is just my opinion and I will endeavor to be honest in everything I say without intentionally hurting peoples feelings.

Here in the Philippines, Hello (which I prefer, quality wise) is difficult to get a copy right away than People but I will definitely buy both mags for my collection.

  the babies must still be tiny and although i am dying to see them,and all the other children too,i feel a bit sad that it is being done so soon. on a lighter note i wonder how hard it was to get all six children looking good in the same photo, its hard enough with two or three. i have a very tender place in my heart for angie right now, she’s been through a big op, has got two tiny ones to feed and take care of (even with help its still a lot of feeding every day) she must be anxious to keep brad and the older children happy too, and giving birth is bound to have opened up the the pain of not having her mother there to share the joy and to take care of angie as only her mother could..i think this must be quite an overwhelming time for her and i wish her all the love and care in the world, she is just wonderful.

  I do not think we will be able to see “photos” on Sunday as you said. When people previews baby pics like this, it is usually one picture which will be the magazine cover. I would expect the same here. Celebs such as Christina Aguilera, Nicole Richie, and Jennifer Lopez have done it this way. Just thought you might wanna know.

  I think it would be harder on Angie and Brad to wait until the babies are older because of the interest in them. Friends and family can still recognize my children from the hospital pictures, they are 38 and 31 now. My older son especially had an extremely stern look even as a newborn lol. I wish they could wait until the babies could sit up but we all know they can’t hide out for 6-9 months. I will think they (the babies) are a work in progress as we all are. As a grandmother I will probably really think they’re cute lol. Besides I choose to believe the Doctor who said they were cute :) If they are not (cute) then since they are 3 week old babies, I hope people apply the “if you can’t say something nice rule.” :)

  Well I know what I am about to say will not be popular, but I wish Vanity Fair was doing the first pics of the twins. I know they would never pay that kind of money, but it would be so classy and the photographers they use i.e. Annie Liebowitz are fantastic. I loved the spread that was done on Suri Cruise. I read People, and I am glad they got the nod, but a Vanity shoot would have been first class.

  The important thing is that they are healthy enough to be submitted to a photoshooting. Angie and Brad would have never done anything risky for their children, of that I am sure. So, first of all, this is a good sign :)
  About the beauty matter,why do you think our first thought was “will they be cute?” I admit that my first thought was “I wish Vivienne would look like Angelina. She has such a beautiful name and I would so much like to have one of her daughters carry on her looks”. What if they aren’t as cute as we imagine (or want) them to be? Are they going to be less loved by their parents or are they going to love their parents less? No! But this is how the human mind works and that’s why beauty is so (frightenly) important in our society.

  Mary Ann, it’s a happy situation. So, you are allowed to be as excited as you wish :p If you feel like laughing from the top of your lungs, do it. If you feel like crying of joy, do it. If you feel like screaming of happiness, do it……but be careful with the neighbours :))

  That seems a bit odd to me, releasing the photos on the Internet before the “People” issue is available for sale. If people can see the photos on the Internet, why would they bother buying the magazine? Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be happy to see the twins, but this seems like a poor marketing decision on “People” behalf, who–I’m assuming–is counting on sale of the ‘Jolie-Pitt Twins’ issue to make of the cost of the photos.

  People magazine is releasing one photo, not all the photos on sunday, so you will want to buy the magazine.Shiloh was photograph four or five days after she was born, the twins were photograph two weeks after they were born.And about whether fans are bias about celebrities and their kids look,why not we’re fans if that’s not the case why even bother commenting on a fan blog,lol, and shiloh is a beauty so i don’t think the twins have anything to worry about, can’t wait for sunday.

  I guess it depends on the person. I know some people genuinely don’t fuss much about babies until they get a little older. I really am someone who does think babies are all beautiful. I thought my girls were the most incredibly gorgeous things ever the moment I saw them and I gush over everyone’s newborns. I just LOVE babies.

  So I’m pretty sure I will definitely find the twins to be adorable. There’s just something cute and endearing about newborns to me.

  I think another reason People will release a photo Sunday is to act as a release valve for all the pent-up frenzy. We’ll see one photo Sunday, then we’ll be crazy and can’t wait until newstand sales Monday or Friday, whichever it is. I subscribe, but I’ll buy extra copies for my mom, art collage, etc. (Fan from Vietnam, if your Houston friend can’t send People to you, I’d be happy to do it. :-) )

  Also, it may cut off leaks to the paps, maybe. Releasing it Sunday will increase traffic on People’s website tremendously, and drive magazine sales - all of which will make the advertisers happy. This shores up People magazine’s financial health.

  People probably won’t recoup the money, but Shiloh’s photos caused an increase of 800,000 issues. I bet the twins will sell more. Then there’s the prestige thing and bragging rights.

  They will probably just release the cover image on Sunday night, but it will be very cool if a little sneak peek of the inside is released too. I suspect inside pictures (including scans) will be rigourously monitored online and that no one will be allowed to show them anywhere. If you pony up $14mill for anything then you probably want to protect your purchase. So unfortunately I think Sherry won’t be able to show any pictures from the magazine, apart from the cover, without expecting a rather stern email from People’s reps.

  Would someone from the US be able to tell me, just cause I’m curious, did People release a new issue last Friday? Did people start to wonder if something was going on when no new issue came out?

  Like everyone I’m very excited and curious to know what these children look like. It’s hard to tell with newborns but it will be fun to have some of our curiosity satisfied… like what color the babies hair is (will they be blondes like Shiloh, or darker haired?) and whether either of them inherited their mother’s famous lips.

  All babies are beautiful to me, truly. Must be some chemical kind of thing. Scientists say adult humans and animals are programmed to love babies. And babies look the way they do - big round heads, close-set eyes, button noses and rosebud lips - to elicit love and care from the adults. All as part of the survival of the species.

  If the babies were underweight or had any kind of health problems, I doubt they would be released from the hospital much less doing a photo shoot. I don’t think people are expecting the twins to be the most beautiful babies ever. People are just interested what they look like.

  Ligaya - the prestige and bragging rights are definitely what clinched the deal for People, I completely agree with you on that. Whenever their rival magazines are doing retrospectives on the children’s growth, they always use the People cover as the ‘very first picture’, like when Shiloh turned two, Us Weekly ran a photo album from the first two years of life. They included the first photo shoot (which legally had to be the magazine cover rather than the image alone) but avoided directly promoting People by using the Hello cover instead. Whereas here in Australia, the rival magazines use an image of the People cover rather than directly promoting New Idea. Sneaky, heh :)

  I got my August 11, 2008 issue of People yesterday or the day before.

  Does Vanity Fair cost more than People? Probably, huh? More people would actually buy People because of the price. And while all sorts of demographics probably buy People, VF appeals more to fashionistas. And it’s a monthly, not a weekly. And couldn’t/wouldn’t pay the kind of money People/Hello are paying.

  I actually loved the Shiloh photoshoot. Maybe VF could do a cover and layout for the twins’ first birthday. And show all the children, not just the biological ones. (Maddox, Zahara and Pax are still referred to as “adopted” and usually mentioned in the last line as an afterthought.)

  This is slightly off topic but also on topic.
  I think we and maybe even all (perhaps not all but mammals?) have a tendency to love babies.
  For example, there have been a number of cases where dogs have adopted baby tigers and pandas. I am sure they can see that those little things sucking at their nipples look more like cats than dogs — there was a picture of a golden retriever nursing 3 white tigers the other day, the dog looked very alert and kind of a bit surprised — but they care for them, clean them, feed them, etc. I am SURE they find them irresistible too and that they have a tender spot for these little babies and feel a need to protect them. So I think it is sort of instinctual to like babies, at least a little.

  You know, Kim is right about babies. They are not often at their cutest right at birth, or shortly after. Studies have shown that we are all drawn to the large eyes and tiny features of babies, puppies and animal babies of all kinds. It’s so we won’t eat our young ;). I think it is more true to say that an infant’s individual features emerge more with age. Look at little Shiloh–at her first photo shoot, she looks like any tiny baby. But six months or a year later, you can see how she has Angie’s lips (lucky kid), Brad’s coloring (lucky kid) and is well on a path of being a beautiful girl and woman. How could she not with two gorgeous parents? But there is nothing like holding the sweetness of an infant, with a warm head that you can cradle in the palm of your hand. Can you tell I just held a new nephew recently? In any case, I hope the People/Hello shoot eases the pressure to be the first with the pics of the JP twins. As Angie says, the cameras are going to follow her anyway, so why not use the opportunity to benefit others? Bring it on!

  I feel compelled to blog about this subject. First, I command Angelina and Brad for giving the money away to charity. Second, I really don´t understand all of the crazy press about these babies. They are just babies! What kind of distinct features can they have?? There was so much commotion with their last natural child. The baby turned out to be just a regular baby. I´m sure beautiful for the family, but for the rest of us, just an ordinary looking baby. Personally, Tom and Kate´s daughter is the beauty. Celebrities having babies, twins no less by invitro, is getting old. Magazines paying outrageous cash for first pictures shows what a meat market this whole baby thing has become. Disgusted!

  Thanks, ligaya. I will see if I can also get a copy of People online by credit card. I envy you guys in the US/UK as you will own a copy next Monday whereas it will take at least one week for it to be mailed to me in this part of the world. And as People and Hello have already sent letters to their competitors threatening legal action against unauthorised photos display, then it may be impossible to see anything but the People cover photo on the internet.

  On the subject of the babies look, to me all newborns look alike and they all look adorable. The thing which excites me more is perhaps to see both Brad and Angie and the other kids in the photos and see the love chemistry among them. It will be really sweet.

  OMG. The wait is almost coming to an end, I can’t wait to get hold of the people magazine copies, I bet, they will only show one picture to make us more excited. I am definitely be buying copies to give away to my relatives & friends. I hope, this time, they included the grand parents in the pictures ( Brad’s parents).
  I just read that $ 14 million was paid between Hello & People magazines. I’m glad, they went to these two magazines, very reliable one & not really considered much as tabloid trash.

  I don’t think Brad&Angie are so much ambitious to show their babies to world. It seems that they have not so much choice at this point. Some people always find a point to critisize them so I don’t care them. I am sure they know better than me what they should do or should not. I am ready many bad articles about them after releasing baby photos because many people love to hate them who they have not own life.

  About the Vanity issue, I want to say that If Angie&Brad will do this kind of professional job for their children I will critisize them. Come on they are just babies not big celebrities.

  Rach if vivienne will look like shiloh and knox like brad then girl they will all look like brad! lol! shiloh is all brad! i would like hope and pray that one of them will look like angie! may it be viv or knox! i’m on medical leave for 2weeks[had knee surgery 3days ago] and was voted by all my friends 9 of them to go in line monday anywhere to get a copy of people and hello b/c they’re all working. guess i shld be there early am and hopefully will be able to drive. cant wait to see the twins!

  It was so funny, Just Jared wrote on his blog that he/his site were the first to have broken the news that the baby photos would go from 11-15 M ! EVERYBODY had been speculating in that range, and he claims to have broken the news ! LOL

  I don’t think that there is any other couple - for now - whose babies would attract as much interest as Brad and Angie. They have both been voted the sexiest people and their coming together was so dramatic. Prince Williams and Kate… yes they will draw interest too but I doubt that it would be anything close to this (aside from in England perhaps). William and Kate are not that famous in the US, they have been together since college, so the story isn’t that dramatic (or new) and neither one of them has done anything that is that unusual or original… Plus Kate does not rival Angie’s exotic looks, so I at least would be less curious to see what the babies would look like…

  30 F-ing Pages!

  This is Saint Angelina laughing at us for already making plans to rush to the newsstands on Monday morning to plop down a few dollars for 30 pages of pictures of her precious twin messiahs. Yes, 30 f-ing pages of baby pictures alone. Gawker reports that the hos at People closed the issue last night and the entire spread clocks in at around 30 pages.

  I don’t even want to look at 30 pages of pictures of babies I’m related to! I mean, what the hell? Here’s a picture of Hard Knox with his eyes closed! Here’s a picture of Vivie with her eyes closed! Oh! Here’s another picture of Hard Knox with his eyes closed and his mouth is open. What’s sad is, I’m still going to carefully analyze all 30 pages. I hate myself.

  It was rumored that People and Hello! Magazine bought the rights for around $10-$15 million. A source told AP that the final number was $14 million. The cash will go to a foundation created by Brangelina that helps children around the world.

  People should seriously find ways to make more money off of these pictures. They could put out a coffee table book and sell t-shirts. Shit, they should make wallet-sized versions of the pictures. That way Brangaloonies can carry them around in their wallets and easily show friends pictures of their “best friends’ babies.” Seriously, Brangaloonies will look at their friends with glazed eyes and say, “You want to see pictures of the most beautiful humans in the entire history of the world? Say yes or I’ll cut you.”

  And in case you haven’t already tattooed it onto your forehead, the first picture of the golden twins will be on People’s website tomorrow at 7pm EST.

  It was confirmed that People mag paid 14 mil for the twins pictures, I wonder how much Hello mag paid? At least everything is going to charity unlike others who were paid which went to their pockets, I guess. That’s what I love with Angie and Brad, they love to use their popularity for the good of others who are in need.

  Jhoey27, not absolutely sure, but aren’t People and Hello sharing the $14 million cost? I wish the other celebrities who got money for baby/wedding pics would donate at least some of that. A big deal is made of Angelina and Brad’s arrangement with People and Hello, even though ALL the money goes to charity. But the other celebrities get a free pass even when they’re doing the same thing as the JPs, AND pocketing the money too!

  Mam, I was wondering about that too. Crossing my fingers that the website doesn’t crash. Is it possible that People may have temporarily increased the capacity/bandwitrh/whatever to handle to gazillions logging on?

  Don’t know if this story is true, but I read that Maddox was the hospital nurses’ favorite among the children. One of them said he’d just sit quietly in his chair and play video games, and not be a bother. Naturally his younger brother and sisters were running around being themselves - which was a challenge to the nurses and Angelina.

  Anyone have the same birthday as Maddox?

  Am really excited and can’t wait for the pics, will definitely be getting a copy of both People and Hello. Hello’s layout is better, it doesn’t spread one picture across two pages like People.

  Brad and Angie had NO option but to do this…hopefully there will be *less paps in full camouflage and holding high powered lens equipment in their backyard*.

  No offense, Kari; this isn’t directed at you, per se. Just sharing my thoughts with everyone.

  I like irony, I like satire and parody. I like to laugh at myself. I don’t do snarky, though – too mean. I’ve visited D-Listed – too snarky for me (just me). Is it part of the Gawker group of websites? I tend to avoid them. Have a love/hate relationship with jezebel.

  So I can see the humor and ridiculousness of 30 pages of baby pics – even if they are the JOLIE-PITT TWINS, one of whom is baby Brad. And I’m SURE Angelina and Brad are aware of the absurdity of it all, when the attention and money should be going to Darfur and other refugees, Katrina survivors, etc. OTOH, they may as well take advantage this nonsensical/preposterous situation and turn it to something good – and outmaneuver the tabs and paps at the same time (PRICELESS).

  I’m mainly irritated at the “Saint Angelina” moniker because I don’t take it as coming from a “I’m laughing with you” place – more like “I’m criticizing you and holding you up to ridicule.” I’ve read too any h8ter comments on a variety of websites from respected media to gossip blogs these past 3 years, and I know “Saint Angelina” is not a friendly, innocent, neutral phrase – more like a weapon used to discredit Angelina and her humanitarian work. H8ters INSIST that everything Angelina does, especially her humanitarian and philanthropic work, is designed to bring attention to her – that she’s a publicity ho, an opportunist. They insist Angelina refers to herself as Saint Angelina and Mother Teresa. It doesn’t help when media like Newsweek calls her Saint Angelina and when they pose her like a Joan of Arc figure.

  If people knew this was just joking, it’d be one thing. But I’m afraid too many people take it literally: “ Seriously, Brangaloonies will look at their friends with glazed eyes and say, ‘You want to see pictures of the most beautiful humans in the entire history of the world? Say yes or I’ll cut you.’” The “cut you” is funny if I was sure it came from a sympathetic/empathetic place.

  P.S. I’m Filipina and we take LOTS of pictures. When it comes to babies, especially the ones related to us, we take LOTS AND LOTS of photos – maybe 30 pages worth, especially at a christening or birthday.

  I have to say that I am glad they chose People Magazine(Hello) to do the baby pics. The thing I liked the most about the Shiloh pics were that they seems so natural. If felt as if the camera’s just showed up and snapped the pictures. The shots were not over stylized. Angie and Brad were dressed in casual clothes and not in couture designs. The thing I don’t like about some of the other celebrity shots is the over stylized photo.

  About the babies, I wish it had been possible for them to wait until the babies were a few months old. Shiloh changed so much, that it was a big surprise when we finally say newer shots of her. I saw on another site that there is 30 page picture spread. That could men that the other children will be included too. With Shi’s pictures they had wide photos that took up two pages. To the person who said that Suri was the real beauty not Shiloh, both of these girls are cute. Beauty will come later with age, and personality. It is sad the a competition is already being created. This is never done with boys. Just girls.

  I will be eager to see the pics on Sunday. And will wait to get my magazine in the mail. I hope they come early. I think they did this now because they are about to do some press for
  Brad’s upcoming movie, and I heard (could be false) that they are getting ready to leave France and return to New Orleans so that Brad can check in on the NOLA project. This way they have the pictures out there, and maybe the press and general public will be a little more calm.

  When people compare celebrities babies I am really sick of. They are just babies. They will change a lot in the coming years. Brad and Angelina never said our childrens are most beatiful etc. Also, Brangie fans will not expect this. Look at Brad and Angie’s baby pictures. They are just average looking babies and how they changed in the coming years. But unfourtunately Shiloh, Vivienne, Knox will be always compared with their parents beautiy in the future. I am sure people will start to compare Shiloh and Vivienne soon. Those childs will always get attention whether they are cute or not because of their parents. But Shiloh is so cute for me I hope Vivienne looks more like Angie and Knox looks more like Brad.

  Good to hear the photos will be relesed Sun. I’m sure they will be cute(as cute as newborns can be)I had 5 and some were cuter than others. My but were all so happy..Maybe the paps will give them some peace once these photos are published. I hope so.

  Great points, Debra77 and MararitaM, I saw 2 polls last week - one pitting Suri against Shiloh, and one pitting Maddox, Zahara, Pax ans Shiloh against each other. Sick. I wouldn’t put it past the tabs and blogs to pit the biological children against the adopted ones at some point.

  I also think pitting actresses, actors, and anybody against each other based on looks is horrible - as if a person’s intrinsic worth is their outer appearance. I like Angelina and Brad because they don’t put a lot of stock in their winning the genetic lottery.

  I like their being named “sexiest, hottest, most beautiful” as well as anyone - but it’s just a game, I don’t take it seriously.

  Mary Ann - I don’t know about the past few days but I know she must not have had her baby early last week. I watch Canadian Idol as faithfully as I watch American Idol. This week they had Gavin Rossdale in Toronto to act as the mentor to the competitors, and then on Tuesday he performed his latest single live on the show. I figure that Gwen must have still been pregnant or he wouldn’t have gone.

  Then again, if he was under contract he may not have had a choice but I’m guessing she still hadn’t had the second baby yet.

  I think comparing the looks of babies or children of celebrities with other celebrity babies or their parents is as repulsive as comparing your own child’s looks with another child or with your own looks. It never helps your own child to say, “oh, you’ve got a cuter nose then your sister but your lips are thinner then hers”.

  I’ve very sure that People and Hello will make money in the short and medium term from these photos.

  In the short term, People may charge extra for the magazine this week. The advertisers may also agree to pay significantly higher advertisement rates to advertise in this issue. Also, the number of magazines People and Hello will sell will spike up this week which means more money.

  In the medium term, if Shiloh’s photos are anything to go by, People and Hello will get a spike in subscriptions.

  REaders of tablies aren’t all stupid, even if some are intentionally delusional. I never used to be a fan on any actor, until Brad and Angelina. As such, I never used to pay attention to tablies. If I picked something up in a Dr’s clinic or at the hair dressers, I wouldn’t have made any distinction between People and Hello and STar or Outta touch.

  Now though I’ve worked out which ones can be more credible (I’ll never trust completely) and which ones just pull their stories out of their azzes. I will never buy something like outta touch or star or a sss weakly.

  This interest in Angelina and Brad specifically and celebrities generally, have become a global phenomenon. Many people read tablies and are like me, becoming far more discerning about which ones to buy and which ones to browse and put back on the shelves. Not for nothing is STAR or Outta touch or A ss Weakly etc NOT meeting their circulation numbers lately.

  I’m confident in time, the circulation of the really bad tablies will fall as they compete with gossip sites.

  I have the same request as melodie. I don’t have access neither to the Hello magazine nor to People. I know 30 pages (of the gossip is true) is a lot to scan, but I will be very gratefull if someone could do this effort and scan all the pages for the rest of us who cannot buy those magazines.

  Ligaya earlier in the day I mentioned I was going to a birthday party. This was for a grand niece whose daughter was 1 today. Well I had no idea that Damarie was married to a Filipino fellow. Many of his family had flown into NJ last night for the party today. And yes the cameras were out in full force. We had a wonderful time, the food was a little Puerto Rican and a little Filipino.

  Oh my gosh….How adorable these two little Jolie-Pitt twins are, and the picture of Shiloh holding her baby sister….How sweet…I have seen them on the cover of People,but how did HELLO get a hold of the pics?I seen the same picture of Angie and Brad on the cover of HELLO.Anyway….Thank you PEOPLE for the pics..
