Brad Pitt and George Clooney in EW

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I would love to be in the room when Brad Pitt and George Clooney give an interview because they are hilarious. The current issue of EW has an awesome interview with the duo; you can read the whole thing right here, but here are some of my favorite highlights:

Seriously, though, you guys are obviously friends.
PITT: It’s true. We have good fun together. We all know each other pretty well now and know each other’s families.
CLOONEY: It’s the funniest thing, I have to say: Since Eleven, when we started, all the guys have gotten married, had kids, and have whole families. This time there were babies everywhere. We’d be on the set in L.A. and I just sit in the middle of the whole thing like an old man.
PITT: He looks like he’s trying to decipher a foreign language.
CLOONEY: It’s true! I’m like, What the hell are these little things?

CLOONEY: I was walking around on the beach yesterday and I just thought to myself, Where’s Brad? And all of a sudden you see the cameras all go WHOOOOSSSHH and I was like, Oh, here he comes!

I’m curious what you think of the state of the male movie star in Hollywood right now.
PITT: I’m actually a woman trapped in a man’s body. We’re going to be doing something about that soon.
Is Angelina aware of this?
PITT: Yeah, she’s all for it. Kinda into it, actually.

Brad, you were just down there smoking a cigarette hunched behind a barrier.
PITT: [Picks up tape recorder and speaks directly into it] No, he wasn’t! He wasn’t smoking! Um… Honey! Honey, that was George! [Laughs]

PITT: So you will see George laid out on the rocks in a Speedo later.
CLOONEY: I don’t want to see anyone in a Speedo. Especially 70-year-old men.

    Very cute. Brad and Angie make me happy. I have to say, I continue to admire them both more and more every day. Brad jokes about being a woman trapped in a man’s body—and a hot body it is though! Angie just got approved for membership on the Council for Foreign Relations, which is like the coolest thing ever. I hope their lives continue to be blessed and that they continue to adopt and have more children and be the very cool people that they are.

    I went to the Chicago Premiere of Ocean’s 13. Brad nor Angie was there but I had to go anyway. They all looked great. I have to say Matt Damon is just as hot up close as he is in movies, but George Cloony was king. I almost left with no autographs, they walked past us once and signed some stuff then they walked past us again but didn’t stop just went for the pressline, all expect for George who signed more including my notebook. George is king and he looks amazing in person. Matt was also pretty hot and I think we scared him cuz we all just went wild.

    Yeah I always wondered what he called her. In Mr&Mrs they use heaps of nicknames but I couldn’t imagine Angie actually using them in real life. I’m probably wrong because if she lets him call her ‘honey’ she probably has pet names for him as well.

    Jess0, I think she calls him “baby” sometimes because someone reportedly heard her say to him when they were in Canada at the grocery store, “come over here baby”. Too cute :-)

    It’s fun to read about them jokin’ around. Sounds like they really are very good friends. And they both are hilarious!

    If it weren’t for the pictures of Brad scooting Angelina about Saigon with motorcycle, I would never have read up on both of them. I never liked his pretty boy look and never watched his movies save a few glimpses of Thelma and Louise while cooking and a few minutes of Ocean 12 when my husband and son watched it. His and George’s are not the kind of man’s look I like.

    But those pictures were great. They reminded me of the time my husband and I rode through Saigon and to the beach of Vung Tau. There is nothing more romantic and fun than going for a ride with each other this way. No helmet so it’s quite liberating and to Western’s standard, reckless. And it’s intimate, quite arousing I might say.

    I was surprised that Brad, an American, a poster Hollywood boy, dared to ride through the streets of Saigon (if anyone ever went there, you know how crazy it is to maneuver through it). And they were alone. No bodyguard. Looking at these pictures, I, for the first time, saw the manliness in him.

    Then the fact that Vietnam is my homeland and Saigon (HochiMinh city) was my home city added to the appeal of the pictures and my change of mind about him. I like that he, together with Angelina, decided to give a Vietnamese boy a home.

    Well, i hope he continues to improve, just as Angelina has.

    I bought the Entertainment magazine to have a copy, they both look so good & the interview was funny. Brad should listen to Angelina to quit smoking. Anyway, I wonder where they are going to spend their family vacation this Summer?
