Brad Pitt and Maddox Jolie-Pitt fly out of New York

With the Make It Right segment of the Clinton Global Initiative all wrapped up, it was time for Brad Pitt and Maddox Jolie-Pitt to jet out of New York, heading back to France to reunite with the rest of the family.
Brad and Maddox stopped for a quick bite to eat at Dave & Buster’s restaurant (too bad they didn’t have time for Mad’s favorite space-themed restaurant, Mars 2112!) then arrived at New York’s JFK airport.
You know, I love that even though Maddox is getting so big, he’s still not too embarrassed to hold his dad’s hand. That makes me smile.

The people from the 9th Ward must be sending all kinds of blessings Brad and Angie’s way. Deidra gave such a glowing report at CGI of what Brad has done for her and her family. What an amazing testimony.
I hope Brad, Mad and the beautiful family are all back together and getting some much needed rest. Brad has been so busy with IB promotions, taking the family to Kenya and Ethiopia, then San Sebastian and now CGI. He must be exhausted. But he also must have a very rewarding feeling being able to accomplish so many of his dreams.
May God bless this beautiful, loving, giving family with all good thing, and a long, healthy, happy life together always.

SHILOH – an observation!

When I see Shi dressed in her little “warrior” outfit with her sword, I am impressed with the feeling that she is very much like her Dad Brad who is the Protector of the family.

She seems absolutely fearless! She is not afraid of the paps, rather, she always seems to give them a smile.
She seems to not be flustered by anything. She has a curious, inquisitive yet very friendly and outgoing nature, just like Brad and Angelina. And she seems to learn very quickly.

The way she took care of her two little baby dolls before the twins were born, the way she called the twins “her babies” after they were born.
Even though, technically speaking, she is not the oldest in the family, she just seems to have a very “protective” stance towards her mother and brothers and sisters. There just seems to be this very “I love my family and will protect them” attitude about this beautiful little girl.

I think she has observed Brad’s very protective behavior towards his family for so long and because she is so much like him, she does this naturally. And it is so obvious she loves her mommy and the twins -beyond words.
Wow, Mad is growing up to be a nice young man. Brad must be sooo proud.
Can anyone fill me in on how the family as a whole are getting along in France? Are Brad and Angie as close as ever? Or are they really on the outs? It would be a major world disaster if they ever split. They are so meant for each other and the family as a whole were just made to be together. Getting a little concerned here. The stories I am hearing are too consistant. Pittwatch.com crew, can you give any clear answers? Thanks a million. Have a good weekend.

Helen, if i were you, i would just ignore those so called “split stories”. it doesn’t mean that just because we don’t get to see them out together and photographed together it means that they’ve split. the tabs will never give them a break and will never stop spreading make up stories and lies and it has been proven.
I am sort of torn between wishing the kids could stay just the way they are and on the other hand watching them and their personalities grow and flower.

There are NO “INSIDERS” in Chateau Miraval. So the Tabloids have NO inside information about this family. Anything they write will be untrue. In fact, they (in touch mag) has already admitted to making up untrue stories about the JPs based on their pictures alone.
If you want to know anything close to the truth about this family read People magazine or Hello magazine.
Sherry this is off topic but for some Filipino Brad & Angie fans in the Philippines specially in Manila & Metro Manila areas ( including mine), they are under water, the situation in Manila & Metro Manila are really bad, Let us all pray for their safety. I tried calling my family back home, I can’t get a signal. I will try to call them again tomorrow morning.I hope, my mother specially is ok same as my brothers,sister & their family. Just so worried. God bless.
For me; Brad & Angie remind me of “Camelot”…It seems like they are who we latch onto and can relate, even though we know we really can’t. For so long there was a void when Princess Diana died. Then JFK Jr., I know, that no other couple could make this kind of “impression” on the world. The good work that they do, both of them. To teach their children the value of giving someone a helping hand. I love to follow this couple and the good work they do and yet they make it seem so effortless (although we know it isn’t). Angie has taken Mad on UN trips, when possible. Brad is SO proud of Maddox and it is so great to see how they have bonded. Just imagine what the rest of their kids will do? They epitomize what every person with great wealth, are supposed to do.

Angela- I agree! I also want to point out that another PittWatcher mentioned that just recently, one of the German rags (I think, anyway), claimed that they’re adopting again. In otherwords, the tabs are contridicting themselves and each other, as usual! Also, the tabs tend to go into overdrive with the “split” stories whenever the Jolie-Pitts duck under the radar for any length of time.
Anyway, in all of these recent pictures, Brad, Angie, and the kids have all seemed very happy…which I doubt would be the case of Angie and Brad were indeed splitting (especially in the case of the kids. Adults can sometimes fake emotions, but kids, especially kids as young as Zahara and Shiloh, can’t)!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that, about a week ago, Us Weekly claimed that Angie and Brad are trying for baby number 7. The tabs tend to go in cycles with their “stories….and the “split-up stories” part of the cycle often goes on for weeks!
Irma – yes! we don’t have a proper signal here! it’s because of the typhoon “Ondoy”, we’re a bit lucky now that it’s not raining very hard. but most of the towns in NCR (Metro Manila included), Bulacan (we’re i lived) and other places are in a “state of calamity”. Search and rescue are being provided by the government because some are trapped in the roof of their houses (flood reaches 5 feet high!), and they haven’t eaten since Saturday morning because of the rushing flood! some are missing too! Many people are helping including the UN World Food Program.. it is really a bad situation here, if you have a TFC you could watch it.. please everyone, pray for us all..
Irma, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. i hope they are all well. i saw some photos and videos of the typhoon and the aftermath. it’s just tragic and devastating.

joliepittfanatic – that rumor about baby 7 is out since the first week of September (with other tabz)! gosh! their doing it again and it’s really a laughing stock! their saying Angie is dying for another one, because she thinks baby 7 would save their relationship! goodness! i couldn’t believe how they made stories like this.. aside from that tabs are saying Angie is super thin.. yes.. the “thin” issue again plus being “sick” issue again.. geez..
Angela – thanks! electric power are down in most part, but we’re lucky here in Bulacan that power is back! that’s why i’m able to visit pittwatch now!
but still many people need some help, even Demi Moore and Josh Groban in twitter asked for some help for us here in the Philippines.. we are very thankful for those people who prayed and helped us! 
i do hope those family whose still on their roofs and haven’t eaten since Saturday morning with their kids crying.. i’m praying for you guys! May God be with you, rescue will come! may thanks to our Navy, UN World Food Program, Sagip Kapamilya and to all who helped!

Brad is wearing the necklace that Angie gave him. I believe I read that it is a star with 8 points reflecting the size of their family. Also to Helen please don’t come here with this stuff from JJ. Brad and Angie are fine and have been fine. If you are a tabloid reader you probably don’t belong on this site.

I think the reason we still see Maddox holding his Dad’s hand in public is the way Brad and Angie parent. They seem to follow a lot of the attachment parenting phylosophy. (Such as the way they have a big bed the kids are free to come in and cosleep.) That, combined with all the traveling they do, in which the kids probably never really get a peer group of friends they keep. A lot of young kids try to act more grownup than they are because of peer pressure. But with all the traveling, I doubt the kids get that peer pressure and are more bonded and close with each other within the family, which I think is wonderful.
Irma, I hope you’ve been able to reach some of your family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. What an awful situation.

Hi everyone, sorry to read about what happen in the Philippines.I realize that there are a lot of Jolie-Pitt fans living there, or in the US with family there, I wish the peolpe there all the best and that they will all get the help they need. To all the Pittwatchers with close family ties there that all their family will be ok.
Congrats to Brad on his award, he deserves every award and recognition that come his way he is truly a good man. I am sure Angie is so proud and happy for him. I watch him with President Clinton it was a joy because I love him too they seem to enjoy each other’s company. So proud to be a fan. I think that there could be no one else, that could bring out the best in each other than ANGIE AND BRAD so stay togather, love your kids, love and support each other be as happy as you can, and never compromise your principles

To all of our Philippine friends at Pittwatch, my thoughts and prayers are with you right now. I felt so bad when I was watching CNN this morning and they were showing how much rain and flooding there is. I hope all of you who are living there or have family there are safe.
I think that Brad and Angie have decided to let Madd go on as many trips as possible. These are learning trips for him, and also it probably prevents alot BS stories if the were traveling alone.
cee- I have to agree! I also forgot to add last night that the entire family just flew to Kenya a week or so ago….which isn’t something most couples who have just spilt are going to do. Also, PEOPLE did an article about Angie taking Zee and Shi to Ethiopia…and a friend of the J-Ps told PEOPLE that the family is “having a great time” in both Kenya and France.
kimmy- Another thing that makes that laughable is that Angie has made it pretty clear that the next Jolie-Pitt child will more than likely be adopted (which also fits with their “pattern”: Adoption of Zee, Shiloh’s birth, adoption of Pax, the twins’ birth).
Irma – we’re going to Cainta, Rizal now.. we’re going to help people there (giving clothes and food and water) because it’s been two days and still many people are stranded there, and we are worried about our relatives there too! about Greenland Subd, is it in Pasig or in Rizal?? we will see if we could get any info there..

Sherry – these are really beautiful pics of father-son duo! Thanks for sharing them with us Pittwatchers. I so agree with you that it seems like Mad isn´t embarrased at all to be holding his dad´s hand although he´s already an 8-year-old big boy. I actually find it quite endearing. That shows how much he loves and respects his dad. He and Brad sure had a great time in NYC. Those two love each other a lot. Mad is very dear to Brad and vice versa. Judging by these pics it´s easy to see that Brad is the most loving, dedicated, caring and attentive father a child could want or need. And maybe that´s one of the reasons why Angie loves about Brad. She´s said that many times that he´s the best dad she could imagine to their children. Hopefully Brad and Mad are already back in France safe and sound! God bless the whole Jolie-Pitt family!

Sherry- these pics of darling Maddox & Brad tell more than a thousand words . . . . . they’re beautiful (the photos, Maddox & Brad!!). Seems to me that Brad is the role-model for Maddox; even Madd’s shoes are the same style here. He’s a beautiful boy, and seems very observant, patient and curteous (like his parents!). Do you think Madd is carrying a comfort-cloth ? Surely Madd will always recall these many-and-varied trips he takes/took with his dad. Despite the obvious camera-flashes, Madd seems very calm indeed- Brad is totally protective of him, yet not at all overbearing. I so love to see photos of all the children; they grow so fast and we can note slight changes in their maturing months &years – I have never enjoyed so much looking at photos of other-than-my-own-children before!! I can see dessert boots are going to make a come back. I loved my dessert boots in high school and I know my Dad and Brother still wear them, good to see. Still not liking the beard. Mad is so casual, love it, nothing ever seem to phase him.
