  Nice father and son bonding going on. It is nice that Maddox gets to do some grownup stuff with his Dad. Every boy loves car racing. (And girls do also but Zee and Shi are much to young for that right now.) I’am sure that in the next day or two Brad will do something special with Pax. It is great when they have special days with each of children. One of my granddaughters always feels like her older sister is getting or doing more. Of course that is not true, but it looks like the Jolie-Pitts work real hard at making sure they do things without their brother or sisters once in a while. When you get right down to it, I believe that the only difference between the JP’s and all of us is that they don’t have to worry about fitting it in the budget.

  Sherry - thanks for keeping us posted - love all your updates and it’s fun to watch from afar and admire… funny thing about human traits…but wouldnt it be just like Brad - the great dad he is to give one on one time with one of the other sibblings - especially IF there were two new little ones in the house…and IF you were a new mom of two little ones…wouldnt it be nice to give mom a short break by taking one or a couple of the kids out for some special time..and wouldnt it be a cool way to possibly throw off all the cameras from mom for a little while if everyone “thought” they were just tucked away resting…or maybe Angie IS tucked away resting with two new little ones…Italy isnt that far away for a short trip…and I would especially think Brad would be more comfortable going on a little trip away from Angie ‘after’ the births, instead of when anything could happen at any time with soon expectant twins … It sounded from the post that Angie was NOT seen in Italy, correct? Hmmmm… we’ll all find out sooner or later, but boy do we sure love to speculate!

  Wow, that’s a lot of reading I have to catch up on. Seems I’ve missed out on quite a bit while I was gone. Oh well, it’s nice to see Brad and Maddox again having some father-son time. And in Italy at that. :) Well, Sherry, I think you’re right, this really does put the rumours/questions to rest. I doubt these two would be out in Italy if Angie has already given birth.

  That’s great. Maddox seems like a real boy’s boy and it’s so much fun that he has a dad who loves doing those things with him (adventure sports and racing, what more could a boy want?!) Angelina wasn’t even sure that he’d ever have a father when she first adopted him and it’s beautiful to see them together now.

  It’s also very funny and cool to me that they can make little trips to different countries whenever they like - a day trip to Italy, why not?

  mary ann: lol, i thought the same thing about the budget! common people can’t make an helicopter ride, a boat ride and go to a motocross championship in the same month!! i think it’s sad because of papz, etc but these children are so lucky: at 6years maddox have already seen a great part of the world and did really great things! (go for three days in the mountain, one week later they go to the sea, …)

  nice to see them! yeah sherry, i though exactly the same thing about the birth and i’ll say more: the twins are not due in these days: if angie was ready to give birth brad wouldn’t go far from her…

  hi mélodie, it’s good to be back. had to go out of town for work and had difficulty accessing the net, so i wasn’t able to do much surfing and posting. i’ve looked at all i’ve missed, and it seems i’ve missed quite a bit, what with the rumours of angie giving birth, etc etc. i’m just glad that they seemed to have had a quiet week last week for shiloh’s birthday. :)

  @D: why the ear plugs? its incredibly loud there!have you ever heard a motorcycly pass you on the street? now imagine that with the motorcycle beeing way faster and about a dozen of them passing you. especially for Mad ear plugs are really necessary.

  Maddox looks so cute frowning all the time!i knew Bard would take his son (although i thought he would bring Pax, too) to such an event. i would have thought they would watch the F1 in MOnaco.

  I think Maddox has his, Oh my goodness there are those stupid cameras again look. I think that he is truly bothered by the paps. He is older and really understands the difference between just being at home with his family and peace and quiet and then leaving the home and going into craziness. I think he really resents the paps. Also, one of the commenters on one of our other threads wonders what the Jolie-Pitt children will do when they get older. I believe that they will brought up to do good things for humanity. The Kennedy family always taught their children that and most of them are doing public service work of some type. Madd, Pax, Zee, Shiloh and any other children will be leaders that do good works.

  I’m sorry but when stars make money off the public there will be paps out making money off the pictures. Most of the time celebrities call them and tell them where they will be for the photo op.

  I don’t think the photographers would have bothered them too much this time. These types of races are huge with major fan followings so photographers would have been there anyway to get photos of the race and the drivers regardless. I would imagine Brad doesn’t mind these kinds of pap moments because it’s more expected.

  Rob - While some people like Heidi Montag or Paris Hilton might set up photo ops when they go out, I think one look at the annoyance on Brad’s face these days when he’s being photographed with his kids while they’re just trying to shop or hang out on private property says quite clearly that they’re not calling photographers. Brad and Angelina are famous enough that they don’t NEED to make those calls. It’s people who aren’t famous for anything other than just being a social diva who need to do that.

  Just read the Vanity Fair piece. I really didn’t like it much. She seems distant and crafty/foxy, but not too intelligent. (I’m thinking of the part where she talks about her father.) I’m not saying I think she is that way, but I didn’t like the article. I thought it had a sarcastic bite to it, which I’m sure is the writing. She comes off manipulative and not at all spontaneous. As if every move is orchestrated. I thought the only place pure emotion came through was when she talked about her mother. I’m sure we will all read it, but I thought the one she did two years ago was much better.

  The Vanity Fair pieces I have read lately on other movie stars have been very similar to this one a lot of the writers opinions and manipulation of the interview. I have not been impressed with Vanity Fair lately. The whole high school most popular boy and cheerleader thing was completely unnecessary. Why can’t they just interview a person and write it down, do I care about the writers opinion - NO. Sorry just needed to vent that.

  I’m back from Biloxi, MS. Missed a lot about the Jolie-Pitt’s news. It’s nice to have new pictures of the father & son. Mad is growing so fast & a very good looking one too. He seems very serious all the time or just annoyed with the papz all the time.
  In Today Show this morning, they showed Angie’s picture on the cover of VF, I really don’t like that picture cover but they were talking about Clinton not about Angie.
  I will buy a copy just for keeps. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

  Dustin Hoffman was interviewed by Morales in Cannes & he said he hopes Angie will give birth on his birthday August 8 & he will give Angie & the babies lifetime gifts. It was shown on Today Show this morning.
  Kung Fu Panda on Friday, I will bring my g-son to see it on Saturday. I can’t wait.

  I know this has nothing to do with this, but I just had to share this:

  I stayed in Brad Pitt’s room!!!

  I’m doing promotion for Heineken all over Austria and on Saturday the tour took us to Bad Aussee. We were staying at a beautiful bed & breakfast called Villa Kristina. In the morning when we were already leaving the owner told us “I almost forgot to tell you, girls - You slept in Brad Pitt’s bed!” Our eyes popped out and our mouths fell open: WHAT?!?! and the lady went on telling us that when Brad Pitt was shooting Seven Years in Tibet, he stayed there…in the room we were in …room number 3! I showered in the same shower as Brad did. I can’t believe it! This is just…wow! It made my day…no…my whole week! :))

  Maddox looks a bit uneasy, but maybe it´s just these pictures. It´s probably a heck of a commotion out there, maybe a bit too strenuous for such a little one. At the same time it will be an exciting memory for him!

  I read the whole VF article, and as always I am surprised at how much AJ gives away. I know she is very honest, and somehow I find this a very likeable trait of hers, but I wonder how Brad feels about this, what do you think? He is such a private person, and would never talk so much about their family life.

  Brad is fulfilling his dream as an avid architect with Angie on his side. They really love each other, one compliments each other.
  While in Biloxi, a sign read New Orleans, I took a picture. I think of Brad & Angie when I saw the sign going to New Orleans. I wished we could have turned towards New Orleans, I would love to see their house. So near yet so far.

  Lette, I don’t think Billy Bob legally adopted him, because their marriage didn’t continue very long after Angelina brought him home from Cambodia. I think he was the catalyst for Angelina to realize her priorities were different from Billy. Could be wrong, but it happened so fast that I think Billy never had the chance to officially adopt him.

  Lica - that’s so cool! Lucky duck! I bet you wish she had told you that before you were leaving, so you could have savored your time there :)

  Hi Everyone, when Angie adopted Mad he did carry Jolie-Thorton name for awhile tho, he was not legally adopted by Billy Bob. As the marriage didn’t work it obvious the legal process never cameforth.

  I’ve been visiting some sites, and saw a lot of comments about the Vanity Fair article. I’ve read it, and loved the quotes that came from Angie. It seems some people doesn’t like the article at all, but I found one comment in one of the jjb forums about the JPs that sums up what I think pretty well, so hope you (and she) don’t mind my quoting it here:

  By TTitan2: “A this point in her life Angelina seems to be at peace and is very content with the life she is living with Brad & her family. So much so that she is communicating with her father once again. She has found joy with her family with Brad.I really can’t blame JV for gushing about his daughter. It was Angelina that revealed that they are speaking again after 6 + years. The man is entitled to be happy about that alone. I don’t think he will mess up again with Brad Pitt in the picture . The media should stop asking him about Angelina, just like they should quit their asking celebs to comment on other celebs problems news items (like you know some show is going to ask someone about Tatum O’Neal tonight) I like Angie’s comments that they created this family while folks wonder why they are not married, saying they did things in reverse, they feel married.   There was also some bashing about the part where the writer was supposed to have implied that Angie “stole” Brad away, but I also think that it was just his way of commenting on how the tabs have spun the stories about them.

  Oh well, if only for Angie’s quotes (and the pretty pics), the article is worth reading.

  I didn’t expect much from VF. After reading it I felt that Angie is very happy with her life but still deeply mourning for the loss of her mother. That was climax of reading that article. My feeling was she didn’t reveal much as the interviewer wanted and he needed to fill the space with his fluff words.
  This is only me but I was relieved that VF did hire a lame interviwer and failed to get some juicy words from her mouth.There is not much eye-opener in their new issue. That is she can take some distance from frenzy for a while. And this year’s best magazine interview is coming later. Until then I wish she will rest peacefully at the remoted area.

  Rob: I don’t think Ange and Brad need to call the papz to tell them where they are going since i am sure that there are people out there that practically stalk them whenever they can to get pics..it’s like Sherry said, half the time you can tell they don’t even want to be recorded or pictures being taken so why would they call the papz? And also to Carrie, i don’t think the interview came over manipulative or “crafty” as you put it. I’ve heard people try to pin this on Ange before and i think there’s a difference between being manipulative and crafty to being strong, opinionated and knowing what she wants. Some people can’t see it though. Obviously. Angelina is amazing. I don’t care if she’s done things in the past i disagree with (which she has). I don’t care if she did or didn’t steal Brad off Jen. I don’t care if she took drugs. I just don’t care about silly little things like that. Shit happens to put it bluntly! To make no mistakes would be to deny being human. The fact is she’s living her life right right now and will until the end of her days and she’s helped so many people in the world when she could be sat on her ass sunbathing in a hot country (like some) How can i not admire a woman like that? Together these two can accomplish amazing things..there’ll be more to come of that i am sure!

  thanks sammy for the video link. If you watch the video, you can see why Mad has that look on his face. Photographers taking pics, stepping over each other to get a shot, one guy is on his knees trying to get a shot from the ground up right into Mad’s face. wouldn’t like it either if I were Mad!

  I thought I’d just give my two cents worth about Rob’s comment. I’m sure B&A understand, especially now, that the paps will be hounding them, but as Sherry has said, it’s unlikely that they’re calling the paps to tell them where they will be for photo ops. I’m sure you’re right, there are celebs that do that, but these two have become so popular that they are stalked by the paps, and it has become quite dangerous for them, more so now that Angie is pregnant and even the kids are not spared. So it is quite understandable why Brad looks like he’s getting more and more upset with the paps. Some people say its the price they have to pay for being such celebs, but I still believe that even celebs as huge as them deserve some privacy, especially when it comes to their families.

  Rob knows very well that Angie and Brad are not among those. If he doesn’t then he needs to look beyond the stereotype margins he’s using as a yardstick!

  This last week’s debacle of the twins birth is a perfect example of how this family is hounded.

  The fact that there are paps and reporters outside their home in France, who are reporting on the surrounding countryside to fill in the time is a an example too. (Rob look it up, even Guardian Uk…a respected broadsheet newspaper).

  I could go on. But people like Rob only like to reiterate a flawed and blind populist belief! So anything we say is NOT going to make a difference.

  Thanks for the pics, Sherry. Love seeing Maddox & Brad together. I remember pics of Maddox when he was quite young – my favorite was him being gleefully mischievous, pulling out his ears & sticking his tongue out at the paps. Most recently, he’s kept his head down when there are paps. In these pics, he seems cranky about the paps and is using Zahara’s patented death stare.

  Hi, Victoria. I wasn’t sure what you meant about Brad’s feelings about Angie being revealing about their family life in the VF article. Are there examples that you’re thinking about? I’ve read & watched interviews of Angie since before her Gia days. She’s always been candid, frank and sometimes brutally honest. As she’s matured, she’s still candid and she’s also a lot more thoughtful in her interviews.

  Rob, every time someone says celebrities are making money off the public, I think people forget that celebrities work hard to provide 2 or more hours of entertainment for us. And it’s hard work - I’ve learned from my 2 sons in the business.

  Irma, my mom, hubby & I visited New Orleans last October. We saw the JP house & walked the same streets where Angie took the kids to the corner store, and she & Brad took the girls on a stroller ride. We even had a couple of beers in the Abbey Tavern where Angie & Nic Cage (on separate occasions) did.

  Possibly one of the things that Brad was attracted to was her frankness. She speaks out very honestly. I believe that friends of her always know where they stand with her because she is so honest. I think that it is wonderful that this young women took all of her life experiences, good or bad and improved herself to this wonderful caring women. Brad is more reserved, she is outgoing, and this why I believe they work so well together.
