Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and the kids hit Berlin, Germany!

Some of Germany’s media sources have reported that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and all six Jolie-Pitt kids have arrived in Berlin, Germany. They actually managed to slip out of France and arrive in Germany yesterday without any crazy paparazzi attention.

The family is staying in Berlin for the next three months because Brad will soon start filming Inglorious Bastards. You can see the GORGEOUS home they’re renting here. Wow!

I love that hot on the heels of speculation that Brad and Angie have split up and are hardly even living together anymore, the entire family packs up and moves to a new location. Hello? I highly doubt that Angelina would have left her cozy retreat in France to go to Berlin with a man she was no longer involved with. Obviously, our favorite celebrity couple is still going strong.

I’m still hoping that Brad Pitt will join Angelina Jolie on the red carpet for the October 4th premiere of Changeling. I believe that shooting for Inglorious Bastards starts after the premiere, though I can’t claim to be 100% sure about that - I do recall reading something about an October 15th start date. If that’s the case, then Brad would definitely be able to hit the red carpet with Angelina. Here’s hoping, although at least we know we can count on seeing one of them at the premiere!

Meanwhile, there are more photos of Brad Pitt in his tacky yellow suit over here. Apparently the commercial he is filming is a Japanese cell phone commercial. I love Brad’s ads, they’re always a little on the wacky side.

    The Jolie-Pitt’s are definitely in Berlin. They have new pictures arriving in Berlin a bit blurry but you can see Angie smiling, Brad carrying Z. They have a big van for the whole family.

    I love the yellow terri cloth suit and hat, seriously I really like it. I know its tacky but I actually like it don’t know why, maybe it reminds me of my youth. All the adults wore stuff like that at the cottage in the 70’s (when I was a kid).

    My head just swims thinking about the logistics of moving this family. No two people are better suited for the task of raising and traveling with a big family, they are laid back, and both have a great sense of fun and adventure. I can’t imagine either of them sweating the small stuff. My hat is off to them. I know they have lots of money, and that certainly makes some things easier, but it still a big challenge, and I admire them tremendously.

    Lainie has 3 pics of the Wannsee mansion plus pics of Zahara, Angelina and Brad having a meal in Berlin in 2006. Zee’s so tiny! My fave picture is #7 with Angelina kissing Zahara.

    Oh, and Lainey says Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that the next Jolie-Pitt will be from South America - truth or fiction?

    I hope they find peace & quiet in their new home in Berlin. I miss Angie but if it’s for her safety & the safety of her family, I would rather not see any pictures of them. The big guy looks like the same guy in France as one of the body guards.
    The villa is spectacular, the kids will have plenty of room to run around & play hide & seek.Thanks Ligaya for the link.

    If you go to goggle earth or have it on your computer put Palais Parkschloss in the search you can see the whole property I believe the actual palais is next door to this house with the red roofs.

    One of the fans at JJ posted a link to the video of the Jolie-Pitt’s arriving in Berlin. It’s # 239 under Brad’s new thread. Brad was carrying one of the twins in a baby carrier, getting all the kids out of the airplane & Angie walked down from the airplane with Mad.
    I hope, they both attend the premiere. I miss seeing them walking on the red carpet .Peace & blessings.

    Jolie Confirmed As Salt So I guess it’s time to forget about all those rumors from a while back, saying Angelina Jolie was dropping out of Edwin A. Salt because of her newborn twins and the other gaggle of kids she has hanging around. Moviehole.net is reporting that Jolie is confirmed to star in the movie, which has also been renamed simply Salt to accommodate the star’s gender (the role was originally set to be played by Tom Cruise).

    It beats me why anyone ever thought Edwin A. Salt was a good title to begin with, not to mention who wanted to see Cruise play the role. It was frustrating when Jolie was rumored to be dropping out, and the studio appeared to be looking for another man to play the role. It’s not every day you get a movie that’s entirely about a female spy, and not about her relationship with another spy or Bond, James Bond. Jolie is the woman to play the role, and we’re lucky she won’t be abandoning it after all.

    It is ashame that when Angie is out of the public eye for a few months then rumor start about a break up, depression, etc and when she is out in public there are still drama. I just roll my eyes at all of this and do the Jolie-Pitt dance whenever I hear news about them. It really brightens my day. They are just such a unique family, and unique people and actors. Glad Sherry that your site is mostly positive.
    Wonder if Brad’s trip to Paris with Z was related to him shooting the commercial. Also saw when he was boarding the plane, he was taking plenty of gifts back for the family.
    The pic of Angie arriving in Berlin was dark and grainy but you could see that smile. She is happy!
    Can’t believe the adoption rumors have started already.

    This is from the US State Dept:

    Bolivia: ADOPTION PROCEDURES: Bolivia U.S. citizens must be legal residents of Bolivia in order to adopt in Bolivia. It has two types of adoptions: national and intercountry. However, Bolivia does not allow intercountry adoptions to countries that have not ratified the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption, including the United States .

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE the CHANGELING poster (the article is great too). It’s striking, deceptively simple, elegant, sets the tone and mood for the movie, hints at the drama, and come awards season’s ads – it’ll remind the voters of the centrality of Angelina and her performance in the movie. The white background with only 2 images emphasizes the relationship of the mother and son. IMO, the large size of the partial view of Angelina’s head in relation to the small boy shows the vulnerability and helplessness of the son, and the enormous responsibility of the mother to find him. There’s a tear in Angelina’s eye that’s about to spill over – such sorrow, her expression reminds me of the Pieta. The boy and half of Angelina’s face is in shadow portending danger and mystery. The washed out dark palette adds to the brooding atmosphere. I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE.

    2 given to an hospital in ethiopia
    1 given to fund Human Rights Watch’s work in Burma and Zimbabwe. The gift will help to continue document and exposing horrifying abuses in both countries and pressure them for change.

    and the other 11millions’ll be follow, you cn’t give 14millions without reflexion and i’m sure that brad and angie want to make a good use of this money!

    Brad had a dinner with QT and all the cast and in the morning he was seen coming to the studio, there are few photos on wenn. I think they are preparing everything for shooting and he is very busy, but I think we shall see Angie soon.

    usually the press in Germany is quite respectful, they don´t hunt celebs like they do in America. i guess that why many stars like Germany.
    but just so you guys know…the “Bild”, this German magazine some of you were referring to isn´t a very reliable one, so please be careful about what they are writing…ok?
    i saw the pic with Angie smiling…you could see that grin through the blurry:p…did she see the camera?
    as for Brangelinas organisation skills…please don´t hate me but i guess they have people organising such trips for he big family. not saying that Brad and Angie are not able to, but mostly their “staff” does such stuff..Brangelina have enough other thinngs to take care off.

    I read approximately 5 to 6 novels a week, and most of them are about spys, CIA, FBI etc. So for me to know that Angelina will be appearing in a spy story is so exciting. Happy to also know that they and their children have picked up and moved to Germany. I hope that both Brad and Angie will appear together on the RC.

    The 14 million went to the Jolie-Pitt Charitable foundation. The Associated Press has recently reported on some of the donations the charity has made. (Families of war victims, human rights groups, Aids clinics, etc…)

    Now, why don’t you share with us, some of your own charitable donations?!?!

    See even when i’m not here,there are people who talk about the break up. and acting weird. while i’m happy that family flew to Berlin together,but i saw a video today on German TV which made me really sad. Brad was out for dinner with cast and crew and when he was leaving the place,camera was located in front of door,and inside until he was about to come out,he was sweinging,and couldn’t walk on his own but when he came outdoor,there is another video online which has taken shots from side,and after he came out,he tried his best to concentrate and walk on his own,he was totally drunken. i was sad because i know twins are still sleeping with them,and can you imagin Angie’s feeling when she saw her man like this?

    it is good to get drunken once in a while,but Brad has been doing it alot lately,i’m actually really worried about Angie’s reaction after sometimes,i means everyone has some ultimate for anything. and he again was there until 2:30 a.m. a man with his whole family in town and a woman who has not gone out even once just because of her and his kids,and Brad is out and quite drunk and until 2 a.m? I hope he will understand,he shouldn’t do this,if he wants to remain such a great father in Angie’s mind and his kids and also his fans. it has been a while since we have seen Angie and Brad together,hold each other hands,maybe it is time to go out alittle more and work on their relationship.

    wow, I so took out my frustration at work out on JJB, sorry, but you got under my skin (congratulations). And again, with the comments that Oktoberfest (or drinking) is no place for Brad and AJ. Do none of you drink on this site. We have a glass of wine with dinner every night. My husband has a beer after dinner, and on the weekends a couple. If we go out; we go out and party. We usually try to make it to Oktoberfest here in Ontario, in Kitchener. It is a great time. We get a sitter for the kid usually a grand parent and go out. I really don’t think Brad and AJ are any different. You may not go out all week long like at university, but you still have fun, it keeps you young.

    @kim: you got it all wrong - no offense, but you should chill before reading other comments….what i meant to say was, that the Oktoberfest in Munich (!) is nothing but a gathering of an incredibly drunk crowd - its not fun at all. it changed very much in the last years….today, many thousands of police men have to patrol, because many many people use the opportunity of a such crowded and place full of drunk people to cause trouble. i am from Germany and its really nothing that would be interesting for Brangelina.
    a beer on the oktoberfest is about 1 liter…and most people do not only drink one single of them….and with all dur respect, you can´t compare an oktoberfest in Ontario with the actual fest in Germany. the original is in Munich, other cities have little fest that they call so - but most of them are for people who want to get themselves drunk for about a whole week.
    got what i meant?

    Phoebe, like I said was having a bad day at work, if I miss read your comment sorry. You may want to look up our Oktoberfest in Ontario, it is apparently the biggest out side of Germany. Kitchener Ontario was at one time called Little Berlin befor WW2.

    Of course i don’t have problem with getting drunken kim!It is something that alot of people do. but having 6 kids and staying up until 2:30 while your wife is sleeping alone in her big bed, and getting drunk while you are about to return to your home to your twins and other kids is obviously far from something natural. and the other poster who can’t handle a grown up conversation,that German actor doesn’t have wife or kids in Germany with himself. the only problem i have with Brad being drunk is he has done it while he has his family with himself. I don’t think Angie would be happy to see him drunk like that,like any other woman,would you? Brad should know and understand what a valuable woman he has and how great it is to have such a wonderful family and how great it is to have your family with yourself always,and should value it. he must know alot better than what he has done lately after his twins were borned,he obviously hasn’t convinced me at least as a man who wants to be with his family and has them his number 1 priority,in past maybe,but right now it seems he has put himself above his family.

    Just before the twins were born we had a thread going here that brought many new people to our community. It was great, so many different comments and thoughts. It appears now that we have some people here that just keep inputing stories about the Jolie-Pitt’s that are not true and farfetched. We don’t need that here and I think many would agree that we don’t want to be seeing these negative comments day after day. I am not saying that the Jolie-Pitts are perfect, who is, but some of these comments are so distorted. I believe that Brad Pitt is a loving family man and partner. Please take your comments to other websites that seem to enjoy talking trash.

    I can’t remember which channel it was,i was just passing through channels and i saw that,but it was in TV,there is another video available from speigel but it is from side and you can see him only when he was out and i told,when he got out,he was walking so concentrated. but the video i saw had a part before he was out and while he was still inside and was about to leave and pass through door,and there you can see how he was swinging obviously.it is from front and it is more obvious. hopefully Angie was slept when he arrived home,so maybe she hasn’t seen him like that.

    oh! i didn´t know that about Kitchener….i´ll look it up. its probably even more fun there. honestly, as a German i can say that the Oktoberfest in Munich isn´t fun anymore. i heard great things about it from my Grandma, but today its just a drunken party…its really sad- i guess Ontario does it the way it used to be in Munich years ago.
    as for Brad and Angie - there´s absolutely nothing wrong about getting out and having a drink (seriously, who doesn´t once in a while?) - but i wouldn´t even recommend the Oktoberfest in Munich to “normal” tourists anymore. its more stress than fun. perhaps if there is such a fest in Berlin they could go - its just not the original then.

    JJB, oh my goodness, Angie was awake feeding Knox and Vivi and when she saw Brad falling down drunk she took a heavy frying pan and hit him in the head. And that she told that was to be on a time out and he couldn’t have any more play dates. Then Madd, Pax, Zee and Shiloh got up and yelled at him also and told him, shame on you Daddy, you are being a bad boy.

    clearly, jjb is here just to stir up trouble. i wouldn’t be surprised if jjb and bampzskv are one and the same. they have a similar writing style. they also have wild imaginations, and that is putting it very mildly. clearly, since the break-up rumors were totally debunked and blew up in their faces, they’ve now concocted a whole new scenario in their minds, like now brad being a drunk. hmmm. i wouldn’t be surprised if a tab or two picks up on jjb’s comments.

    yup, i think people were right on point to also call jjb a troll.

    anywho, more power to brad, angie and the kids. glad they can get away and be very united.

    I’m in total agreement with your 4:24 pm post, Mary Ann. I don’t want these pesky pests hanging around ruining our good thing. If they continue hijacking our blog, we true-blue Jolie-Pitt fans may have to petition Sherry to ban them. And ROFLAO on your 4:35 pm post. Brad and Angelina should do like Desi & Lucy, and get a ‘reality’ series – only the plots would be from all the h9ters & tabs’ lurid imaginations. And profits from the show would go to charity – and maybe some psychiatric treatment for the h8ters.

    So convenient not to be able to back up trash-talk with verifiable sources. ;-)

    Phoebe, I’m glad you’re German, because if you weren’t your earlier post would sound like national chauvinism. Your post was specific enough that I can believe your opinion/information. I can’t believe there isn’t a kernel of cultural celebration in Oktoberfest. (I’ve been in Germany 3 times, including Munich. My husband’s family is part German.) Maybe it’s analogous to how the English hooligans ruined football for many people for some years. I hope that Oktoberfest returns to its earlier roots.

IMO, talking about whether they do things that we don’t personally approve has no place here. And anyway, we don’t all have the same ideas of what’s moral/immoral. That belongs on another blog – the h8ter blog.

    well there is a kernel of cultural celebration left, but really only a very small kernel…your example with the english hooligans is good - its the same with the Oktoberfest. these drunk people ruin it for everyone. its has begun about two years ago….i really hope it returns to earlier standards, too. :)

    So what if Brad had a little too much. This was a get together for film cast. Sure this will not be the first time or last time he will have a little too much. We need to think positive. We are not in their home and don’t know what is going on in their personal life. I am sure they are fine.

    Watch the media will be on Brad like white on rice while in Germany. Read on some post he went to the doctor this morning, ate lunch out and then went to the studio.

    The people on JustJared are going insane with comments. They range from talking about X,the old discussion about Brad and X,Brad going out, drinking in Berlin and BBT/Angie getting back together. Seems BBT made comments about him and Angie still being friends. Pleez! Some people are just ridiculous. The poor woman can not have down time with her children and relax without breakup and other negative things coming out.

    Brad does not look or act drunk in the videos and pics I have seen. But I guess JJB had to find something else to whine about since the breakup story was destroyed by Angelina and kids coming to Berlin with Brad. If they were truly breaking up Angelina could have simply stayed in Paris.

    Why do trolls like JJB go from site to site posting the same trash. Stay at JJB.

    In the video, the “drunk guy” is German actor Til Schweiger, it is obviously NOT Brad.
    Brad was walking normally considering he was being blinded by camera flashes.
    JJB’s comments have always been suspicious to me, I don’t think a fan would write what she does.

    Regarding the advertisement for Tag Hauer, it is an old one (more than 2 years i think) and it is plastered all over Asia. There is a huge billboard on one of the busiest highways in Kuala Lumpur with Brad’s face and I always found it soo attractive that I normally can’t take my eyes of it. Good thing I don’t drive and am always driven! (Don’t get any fancy ideas — I take the cab a lot and am not chauffeur driven!)
