Brad Pitt arrives at the San Sebastian film festival

Brad Pitt was all smiles as he arrived at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain today. He’s in town to promote Inglourious Basterds at the festival. He seems to have arrived solo, but maybe Angelina Jolie will be on the red carpet later since she’s not part of the press junkets. On the other hand, it’s so easy to fly from France to Spain, she may have just stayed home with the kids and Brad will be back tomorrow.
I’ll be keeping an eye out for any video footage of Brad at the San Sebastian Film Festival and will grab red carpet photos as they emerge.
Inglourious Basterds has done very well so far at the box office, so it will be interesting to keep an eye on it as it continues to open in other countries and continues to be promoted at festivals like this!

Can’t wait for red carpet
I was wondering why he was growing his facial hair as such! I sure miss his clean shaven face, but I will take what I can get!

There are some wonderful photos on the Getty Images site of Brad in a Suit and velvet shoes with a “B P” monogram at the photocall. He took off the hat and sunglasses. He looks adorable. He did not shave, but he looks great. Now, QT is in a workshirt and sneakers, but that is QT’s way and he will probably show up to the premiere in the same outfit, just like he did in Germany.
wow. i’m sure Brad is overwhelmed with the support of the fans, rain or shine, hot or cold – the weather won’t stop the fans from grabbing the chance to see him.

Dana/Anastaja- That would be interesting! Has anyone heard whether or not Lost City of Z is ready to film, though?
Anyway, how much do you want to bet that the tabs will pounce all over Angie not being there (although she could show up on the RC with Brad later, I’m guessing she is indeed not there, as they usually go to photocalls together, too, and at the very least are usually sighted together when they arrive at places together.)?
I personally agree with Sherry. Spain is just a quick plane ride away from France, and Brad will probably be able to be back in France tomorrow. I can certainly understand Angie staying behind in France with the kids in that case.
Also, Angie tends to (though certainly not by her own fault) outshine Brad at photocalls, RCs, etc. When she has been interviewed at Brad’s RCs and photocalls, she has been very vocal about the fact that it’s Brad’s night, and she’s just there to support him. It could be that she decided to stay home at least partially to allow Brad, Quentin, and the others to have the full spotlight that they deserve for their movie premire, if that makes any sense.
On top of that, we need to remember that Angie just did humatarian work in Kenya and spent two days in Ethiopia with Zee and Shi. She’s probably tired out after all that!

Oh, and I just remembered that Spain is several hours ahead of those of us in the U.S. So it’s kind of funny to think that the RC and stuff is probably all over by now (I’m not sure how long the actual festival lasts)!

joliepittfanatic – I´m pretty certain that the rags will unfortunately be pouncing all over Angie for not being with Brad in San Sebastien. But I, personally, don´t give a rat´s a** about those stories. This trip is only a one-day trip and Angie sure thought that she won´t be needed there. Naturally it would have been nice to see this happy couple together but IB is Brad´s movie and he´s doing some promotion work too. Brad looks really HOT in these pics. That beard is still not my personal favorite but maybe he has grown it for his next role. Angie sure loves her man with or without it very much. Hopefully Brad will be back home in France sometime today (Sept. 19 or early tomorrow Sept 20). He sure misses his family a lot during these short trips too.
