Brad Pitt at Global Green Conference in NOLA
More news when I get the kiddies to bed, but can I just say…MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
I am editing this post, cause I don’t want to ruin the view just yet. As I am sure you have heard, today Brad gave the award to the winner of the Global Green sponsored contest to architects Andrew Kotchen and Matthew Berman who came up with the winning design to rebuild a section of the Ninth Ward in New Orleans that was completely destroyed one year ago in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The plan, modified after discussions with the community, calls for six houses, two multifamily units and services such as child care and a community garden.
Using resource-saving appliances and fixtures, solar electricity and hot water heaters, and recycled building materials, the team hopes to cut pollution and decrease operating energy use by 50 percent to 60 percent compared with traditional homes.
Whether the new homes will look like they belong in New Orleans may depend on the eye of the beholder. Berman said that exterior materials and the addition of porches, as well as the long forms, could make them echo other buildings in the area, but the core building is intended to be reproducible anywhere.
Brad had this to say at the press conference earlier:
I am appalled and embarrassed that residents still do not have the opportunity … to decide if they want to get back into their neighborhoods and recreate their communities.

I live in Toronto and I cant wait for next week Saturday.I am going down to see him with my girlfriend and we are super psyched,they are closing down the street from 4pm where the gala is going to be so that more people will be able to see him walk the red carpet.Toronto will be buzzing coming Saturday just counting the days.

As cliche as it may sound it’s the truth, the man is like fine wine getter better and better with each passing day. People always speak about how he resembles Robert Redford, and he does to a point, but IMO, I go with what Dustin Hoffman said about BP which was “we all look like onions next to that kid.” Robert “valdalia” Redford ain’t got crap next to Brad.

I love his look. He’s such a sexy DILF. Did anyone watch the interview with Ann C.? I love how he talked about his children and how he and Angie created this family. Screw the tabloids. Brad loves his woman and his kids, and I can say they’re in for a long haul, not even tabloids can break them apart.

Thank you Christina for the great pictures of these beautiful family in New Orleans. I did not see baby Shiloh though. Is she back in L.A. with her grandmother or with a nanny in New Orleans? Anyway, Jackie, I envy you. Wish I live closer to Toronto. Is Angie going to be there too? Please tell us how it went after September 9 right away. I hope you’ll have an unforgettable moment, even a picture to post.
