Brad Pitt flying solo out of JFK airport

Brad Pitt was spotted arriving at JFK airport in New York City today, preparing to hop a plane for an unknown destination. He’s often not exactly thrilled to see the paparazzi when he has his kids with him, but he seems happy enough when he’s on his own – love the big smile!
Although there’s no word yet as to where he’s headed, he did have a business meeting not too long ago when the Jolie-Pitt family was out in Los Angeles. He may have a follow-up meeting. There’s a lot going on with Plan B, including prep work for The Lost City of Z, so that’s my official “guess”.
Regardless, I don’t imagine that Brad will be gone for long because Angelina Jolie has filming for Salt and we all know that they try to separate their work as much as humanly possibly so that at least one of them is with the kids.

Oh boy here we go, Angie throws Brad out because he smiled at Jen. Angie throws Brad out because he left the toliet seat up. Brad leaves Angie because she smiled at the body guard. On and On and On. I agree with Sherry he is just going off to work and probably will be back by Monday morning for Angie to go to work.
This tabloid garbage is really making my sick. But I hope Brad and Angie really don’t read it at all.
He always looks so handsome!! I don’t know how they handle such busy schedules. I’d lose my mind! Kudos to them!
I’ve already seen one magazine that talked about Angelina snubbing Jen at the Oscars. Are they kidding?? She laughed at her joke, they smiled at each other! Tabloids really need to move on to a new topic. It’s getting so ridiculous!

LG, if they really DID claim Angie snubbed JA, I’m guessing they’re probably referring to the fact that she and Brad (but of course the tabs refuse to acknowledge the fact that he was there, too) never actually bumped into JA at the Oscars and thus didn’t actually speak to her.
Basically, it sounds like what they’re really complaining about is that they didn’t get the Angie/JA “showdown” they were hoping for! LOL!
In any case, I have also learned that tabloid headlines and the actual “stories” inside the tab are often slightly different from each other.
For example, back in December one of the tabs (I’m pretty sure it was Out of Touch) proclaimed on their cover: “Brad and Angelina: Twins Again!” Underneath that were bullets such as: “Secret fertility treatments” and “Where Angie will give birth”. Naturally the headline and bullets were insuinating that Angie was pregnant again.
However, I later stumbled across the actual “story” on the Internet, and discovered that they what they were claiming was that Angie was TRYING to get pregnant with twins again, not that she actually WAS pregnant again (which made me feel quite embarrassed, as I had just ranted here on PittWatch about how ridiculious Out of Touch was for claiming that Angie was pregnant again. Well, they were still being ridiculious, but I wish I wouldn’t have just jumped to conclusions like that!).
When all the tabs were running the story of Knox and Viv’s birth, Out of Touch claimed on their cover that they had an “Exclusive gallery” or “Never before seen photos” or something to that effect. I never looked at the actual “story”, but I’m guessing that the photos were actually the same ones circulating on the Internet: Of what was supposedly Angie’s hospital room and such, rather than actual pictures of Angie and Brad or the twins.
Therefore, whichever tab it is might be claiming on the cover that Angie snubbed JA, but the story might not suggest the same.
i have this feeling that the business trip won’t take that long otherwise he would’ve brought with him either the girls or the boys – he’ll miss them so much!
and as for the tabs, i just simply don’t even bother reading it.
I also think that he went to LA for a business meeting. He doesn´t like to be away from his family for more than a day or two. And especially now that Angie is starting her work on Salt Brad is needed more at home. Maybe his parents are in NY to help Brad and Angie with the children. I know that the rags will have a fieldday making up reasons for this solo trip but the simple truth is a business trip. Angela – I sooo agree with you. I don´t even bother to read them anymore. They write so much BS about our favorite family that it has made me sick for a long time. I only believe those stories that People Magazine writes because I consider it as a reliable source. They´ve NEVER written anything bad about this beautiful family! Hopefully Brad is already home in NY safely or will return today or early tomorrow. God bless them all!
Just my post-Oscar comment re AJ’s look….
AJ’s dress may not be the most beautiful that Oscar night but it was definitely THE MOST elegant & the MOST talked about & seen (in a positive way), together with her hairstyle, make-up & accessories (oh how I love her emerald earrings & ring). Everything just fits & complements very well, objectively speaking.
Her total look is very pleasing to the eyes. No excessive make-up and blings. Unlike other celebrities who are eye-sore due to too much accessories & make-up, AJ is very consistent on her preference to being minimal. She is always simple yet elegant. She is already very beautiful, so whatever she wears must not outshine her.
It’s all about how she wears her outfit instead of the outfit “wearing” her. Because it was AJ, she makes it special in carrying her dress. The confidence she exudes and the positive aura she radiates are very special elements that makes her very elegant. And effortless at that !!!! Besides, she has enough accessories that go with it. She doesn’t look like a Christmas Tree.
AJ’s posture and stance also enhances the beauty of her outfit. Other celebrities tend to poise too much. They hard-sell their dresses. AJ don’t do that. She just walks slowly & stands before the cameras with so much grace and she’s very relaxed. She’s just different from the rest. She exactly knows what she’s wearing & doing.
Thus, it’s no wonder why AJ is an epitome of simplicity, elegance, confidence & class rolled into one.
Give them a break people. Their not joined at the hip. Sometimes she has business elsewhere and so does he. So trips apart does not mean their are breaking up. Jolie-Pitts forever.
Wow they can not be apart for a day without rumors gettings started. They must find it funny.
I thought I heard that Angelina would have 2 weeks of filming in D.C. for Salt. Not sure if that was at the beginning of filming or not, though that’s what I thought I heard. Anybody else know? Someone pointed out that Brad only flies commercially when alone and when he is making a quick trip, so I bet he is with the family by Sunday night, anyway. He probably needs to do some business before he is on full time daddy duty.
i love the fact that they take “normal” plane when they are travelling alone and not their private jet: it’s more ecologic and less expansive!
Someone @JJ claims Angie,cast and crew are in DC they had cast dinner last night.They start filming Mon.They need extras $70/day. The person don’t know if kids are with her.
My guess is L.A. or New Orleans is where he is headed. I don’t even bother to read any of the tabloid covers at all. It is a waste of time and money. They are all negative and full of drama. Thank you Sherry for keeping us all updated.
sarahc- We aren’t trying to say that they’re breaking up or that Brad shouldn’t be taking this trip. We’re just concerned that the tabs will pounce all over this trip of Brad’s and claim that they’re splitting!
Oh, and if you were referring to Mary Ann’s comment: I’m pretty sure she was just referring to the headlines the tabs might make up. I highly doubt that SHE actually believes any of those things are true!

Tabs will find a way to print a story about Brad and Angie no matter what they do. They print one lie after the other about Brad and Angie, so lets not give them anymore play. Brad and Angie are fine. Just very busy movie stars and humanitarians and parents.
Not only is his sweater buttoned all caddywumpus, but he is missing a button, and has a hole in one sleeve. All those millions, and he is still just a regular guy.

Sorry Pittwatchers, but its so easy to get sucked into those magazine head-lines, so that they can sell their wares. The tabloids should STOP, but they never do. Love the Jolie-Pitts.

A jolt of Jolie
D.C. goes A-list again next week, as the cast and crew of “Salt,” the upcoming spy thriller starring Angelina Jolie, arrives here to begin filming.
A casting call for background performers, obtained by Yeas & Nays, says filming will begin on March 3. Josh Friedman, a spokesman for D.C.’s Office of Motion Picture & Television Development, said, “We are expecting a large-scale production for several weeks, and again in summer.”
Jolie is expected to arrive early in the week, and a source tells us producers have been casting a teenage Jolie look-alike as well.
Jolie’s role was originally offered to Tom Cruise, but when his deal fell through because he demanded too much money, the script was rewritten for Jolie, with the title character’s name being changed from “Edwin Salt” to “Evelyn Salt.” Jolie plays a CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy.
The film also stars Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
A woman who answered the phone at the local production office said she couldn’t comment, as the film’s publicist hadn’t yet arrived in town.
Gena, thanks for posting that! So Angie’s character is named Evelyn, and not Edwina as previously rumored. Anyway, I wonder if Angie and Liev will discuss babies and swap parenting advice (Liev and his fiancee Naomi Watts also have a baby at home, Samuel, who was born in December, about five months after Knox and Viv. They also have a toddler son named Alexander, who’s about a year younger than Shiloh-He’ll be turning two this summer)?
I hope that the tabs won’t try to claim, once Salt has been shooting for awhile, that Liev and Angie are having an affair (I can just see them trying to claim that Angie is “trying to steal another woman’s man yet again!”).
It seems like they try to hook Angie and Brad up with their costars every time they are starring alongside someone of the opposite sex (most recently, they claimed that Brad was having an affair with Diane Krueger during the filming of Inglorious Bastards. Of course, they conviently left out the fact that Diane is married!)! I, for one, am sick of it!

liev has a long term girlfriend (naiomi watts) they might even be married, they have two kids together btw
kim2kim, Liev and Naomi aren’t married. Naomi just recently confirmed in a magazine interview, however, that they are engaged.
oh yeah, that and angelina only loves one man, and that is brad pitt. stupid rags!
