Brad Pitt gets picked up by the paparazzi!
July 2, 2009 by Sherry
I guess there is one decent advantage of having the paparazzi follow you around 24/7 because if you’re Brad Pitt with a broken-down motorcycle it means someone’s always around to give you a hand and you don’t even have to sit around while you wait for AAA to come pick you up.

Today in Los Angeles, Brad Pitt was out riding when his motorcycle completely crapped out on him, which might have left him stranded except that – as usual – paparazzi were tailing him and offered him a rid home. Brad took them up on the offer!

Now see, that’s just nice and kind of cute!

I thik it was a split second decision, he took the lesser of two evils to wait or get away from the streets as quickly as possible, who knew what would happen to him had he stayed.
I am just happy he got out of the car without incident because he was out numbered, we all get into bad situation, he is human, as Sherry say he should have just walk but on the other hand, that was also vulnerable too, we should sympathize, leave should have and could have for later when you recollect your though he did what he though was best at the time who knew it would turn out the way it did.
They can’t avoid these situations somtimes he just could not believe what happen. I often pray for thier guidence and protection they should not be humiliated just because they chose to entertainment us with thier abilities and do some good. I am still on vacation, but, I love Brad so I don’t want anything to happen to him he has seven sweeties waiting at home now.
When somthing really bothers me my thoughs race, I am in a hurry to comment and make mistakes, it should reads to entertain us with thier abilites,
“All so I would like to remind you that you all watched the video, other wise you wouldn’t be discussing it, and since you watched the video you have now contributed to the Pap problem.”
Kim, this is true, but I don’t think any of us are under any delusions about our contribution to the problem. It’s a frequent lament of the fan… oh, how much we want to see new pictures, but what guilt comes along with viewing them. As it is, the culture is fairly saturated with this kind of new media, so it’s difficult to avoid this kind of stuff even if you want to. Right or wrong, this business is thriving.
Anyway, I don’t disagree with you on any specific point. Perhaps Brad could have handled this particular situation better, but in general I think the Jolie-Pitts have a fairly mature attitude to the paparazzi. They don’t get hysterical about them or attack them, as other celebs have occasionally done, and they don’t make a fuss about them when the children are there. They don’t even attempt to prevent them from taking photos, usually, so long as they keep a respectable distance (requesting that long lenses be used). The only place they’ve really taken a stand is against photographers sneaking onto their private property, which is understandable. I guess what I’m saying is that you’re absolutely right when you say that these paparazzi encounters are part of a modern celebrity’s life, so like it or not, they need to figure out a way to live with it. I do think that Brad and Angelina have a pretty good understanding of that, though, at least compared with some other celebs, and relative to the level of their fame.
And thanks joliepittfanatic, you’re right, I did accidentally mistake the two agencies. Having one of those stupid days! Thanks for picking it up.
When I commented about Brad handling it better, I was thinking back to a time when AJ gave a ride to a Pap in England when his bike broke down. I remember reading the Pap’s version of their conversation in the car. I do believe that the Pap’s would have done better to keep the camera back let him know it was on and just record a conversation with Brad like about his bike instead of saying give a shout out to x17 or what ever and everyone talking at once. If the Pap’s were smart they would have handled it better as well, but they get so excited and hyper, with the amount of celebrities they see every day you would think they wouldn’t be so Star struck or maybe its not star that get them so excited but dollar signs in their eyes.
I really can’t lump AJ and Brad together in this Pap topic. I believe AJ handles the camera’s and intrusion much better then Brad maybe that’s because she grew up in it and Brad didn’t. As much as I like Brad as an actor (even more then AJ) I really don’t think he handles the interview part of the business very well, he seems shy and has trouble expressing himself. where as AJ seem very natural about it. On the other hand I believe Brad is way more artistic then AJ is.
kim- Well, Brad has basically actually said that he is uncomfortable during interviews when the interviewer is asking about his family. Specifically, he has said that he feels like talking about his family in interviews somehow “cheapens” it (I’m paraphrasing a bit here. Perhaps Sherry or someone else could explain that comment of Brad’s a little bit better than I just did!).
anotherbix- No problem, and I agree with you completely! The J-Ps do indeed seem to have a very mature attitude towards the paps. They haven’t really complained about them or asked for more privacy. Brad DID say a few months ago that he h8tes the paps. However, he followed that by reitering how they scare the kids (Zee in particular), which tells me that he was simply expressing his feelings, and that what he was really trying to say is that he h8tes the paps in terms of the fact that they scare the kids and aren’t respectful towards the kids (shouting out their names, etc.).
Mainly what Brad has complained about (I haven’t really seen Angie complain about the paps. I think the most she has said in regards to not liking the pap intrusion is that they really scare Zee) is the times when the paps have crossed the line. For example, when the paps trespassed onto the J-Ps land in France just to try to get the first photos of the twins.
Another example is right after the twins were born, when the paps rented the hospital room above Angie’s (I still don’t know how they were able to pull that one off!) and attempted to drill a hole through the ceiling of Angie’s room just to get the first photos of the twins.
I don’t care how famous you are, those are things that nobody should have to put up with!
Mostly, though, Brad just expresses that he wishes the paps would use long lenses instead of getting right in the kids’ faces.
UNDER MOD- Agree with anotherbix.
Oh, and I forgot to mention in my last post that I can’t believe after the paps tresspassing onto the J-P’s land and trying to drill a hole through the ceiling of Angie’s hopsital room (both to try to get the first photos of the twins), some people STILL don’t think Angie and Brad should have sold the twins’ first photos to PEOPLE (and believe me, there ARE still people out there who disagree with the newborn photos specifically, not just the W Magazine photos. I’m a regular on Celebrity-Baby Blog, and from time to time the discussion of whether or not celebs should sell their babies’ first photos comes up. Almost always, some of the people who disagree bring up Angie and Brad and how they think they were exploiting the kids by doing the photoshoots.).
i am from zimbabwe and I admire Brad and Angelina and one of my wishes is to shake their hands and say how do you do. I guess I can keep dreaming is all. She does good job for the refugees and UN work and now we have the blood diamonds case in my country and you said they have writtne their list on ban diamonds from Zimbabwe. Some of those diamonds are dug by poor people trying to to earn a living but where ever there is wealth the greedy take over and that leaves the poor to suffer.
