Brad Pitt Heads Home to NOLA to Make It Right
Brad Pitt headed home to New Orleans this weekend, taking a break from filming Tree of Life to do some work with Make It Right.
While there, Brad met with Bill Clinton and volunteers to start breaking ground where the new Lower Ninth Ward homes will be built. Be proud, Pittwatch people - some of that is thanks to the donations we made back at the beginning!
Bill Clinton was quoted as saying:
“The way to really get New Orleans all the way back and all the way back in a hurry is to rebuild in the right way and make it a long-term, five- to six-year commitment, to create a much higher base level of jobs through this whole energy efficiency endeavor.”
Check out the photos of Brad Pitt and Bill Clinton over here.

First, thanks for providing such a great website. I’m so happy to see Brad sticking with his NOLA initiative. Also, I wanted to provide you a link with Angelina and all 4 kids. Hopefully this will put an end (at least for a while) to all those people constantly speculating why you don’t see Angelina with all 4 kids 24/7.

Can’t wait to see the homes after they finish. So proud of Brad, Bill and all those that helped either by donating or by working in NO.

Very proud.
I sat up straighter when CNN covered this. Thanks for posting about Sherry.
They aim to finish the first set of 20 by end of Summer, Lac.

Good to hear they’re already breaking ground. Just visited the MIR site and it’s nice to see they’ve already passed the halfway mark for the 150 homes. I’m sad to say I haven’t been able to pitch in anything, but it’s good to hear that quite a number of pittwatchers made contributions. Here’s hoping this will be the start of better life in the Lower 9th Ward.

Don’t feel bad Isacutie, sometimes prayers are appreciated just as well.
