Brad Pitt is just a regular dad
Brad Pitt proved himself to be just your regular Dad the other night in Cannes. He arrived at a party to celebrate the premiere of the film Synecdoche, New York, which is Michelle Williams‘ new movie. He hung out by the fire and chatted with Michelle for a little while, and then he sat and showed longtime friend Catherine Keener photos of the Jolie-Pitt kids that he had stored on his iPhone (a man with a gadget, can’t resist that!). Brad also talked about how excited he was for Angelina Jolie to give birth to their twins.
Apparently Brad also practiced his French on a guest at the party. Maddox Jolie-Pitt attends a French school so it would be really beneficial for Brad to speak the language too. I’d love to hear his accent!
I love these little moments that we get to hear as fans. Brad Pitt is an enormous celebrity who can’t go anywhere without people screaming his name, but when it all comes down to it, he’s still just your plain old dad carrying pictures of his kids and talking about his babies.

Brad aged but in a very positive way, he is a great person & more so when he met & hooked up with Angie. He is so very proud of his growing family. I don’t know if it’s true but one tabloid said they bought a home with 35 rooms in the South of France. Tabloids news so it may or may not be true.
Shiloh’s birthday tomorrow. No sightings of them lately. They are laying low till the big event tomorrow. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

This is the kind of stuff that makes Brad so real and endearing. Remember in an old interview before Angie came along that he mentioned what he wanted most was to have kids? And now he’s got 4 with 2 more on the way. He’s been really blessed and he seems to have truly embraced his good fortune with a partner he’s labeled as “amazing”. Just look at how he’s so hands-on with the kids, how he carries them, plays with them and protects his beautiful family. I can’t say enough accolades for the JPs. They have found their place in this world with the way they live their lives and they truly inspire me.

thats sweet! didn´t Marianne Pearl once say that Angie had an extreme accent? lol i somehow imagine Brad speaking a huge accent, too…but its much harder for grown ups. if they stay long enough Maddox may be able to speak fluently and without an accent.

I saw so many photos of brangelina so far - btw.: thank you so much for that, Sherry! - but i never saw a picture like this: Angelina seems almost humble, Brad seems tired but so happy, so fulfilled with his life… (sorry about my english, i’m german and hope, you can understand what i mean/write here) - what i like to say is: This is to me so far the most beautiful photo i’ve ever seen of brangelina… thank you again for all the news and stories and photos and everything else about brangelina - i really enjoy it! A Very proud Dad! No doubt he went because of Catherine Keener, who is also in the movie.
Still it was nice of him to make time to speak with Michelle. She looked good on the red carpet, peaceful!

Brad is probably practicing his French since they are moving to France. Reports are that Brad and Angelina have signed a three-year lease on Domaine de Miraval, a chateau located between Correns and Chateauvert.
