Brad Pitt - living in squalor??
Contact Music is reporting of Brads misery and “squalid” living conditions:
Hollywood star Brad Pitt is miserable, and his relationship with Angelina Jolie strained, since moving into a squalid 1970s tower block in Paris, neighbours claim. The SE7EN actor, who previously resided in a $25.5 million (GBP15 million) California mansion with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston is reportedly living in a deprived area of the French capital with Jolie and their two adopted children Maddox and Zahara Marley. Paris cafe worker Ahmed Shrir, who claims to serve Pitt on a regular basis, tells British newspaper the Daily Mail, “Brad is a really nice guy, but he’s not too happy about this area. He says Angelina wanted to live in an ordinary Paris district, and that his security people put them in the high-rise block.
I find it hard to believe they are living in squalor.

The person “claims” to serve Brad Pitt on a regular basis, and then proceeds to devulge personal information such as him hating where he lives, and alledging Angelina is running the show, and they dwell where they do because it’s where she wanted to be.
You know, there’s a part of me that’s growing that wishes they’d just split up so the world will leave them alone. Let his @ss go back to life with Jennifer Aniston (we know she’d take him back in a heartbeat), and let Angelina go back to her life. Split custody, and be done with it just to shut the haters up.

I’m sure Brad would not allow his family to live in a “bad area” of the city, even with security. They are two of the highest paid actors in Hollywood! Squalor—come on now?

E! just did a segment on their apt last week, 5 bedroom with the master suite with view of view of the eifle tower it’s over 3,000 sqf and cost $50,000/mnth… nOw is that living in sqaulor(sp)

Squalor? Right. Isn’t that place like darn expensive? For the amount of money they pay, it better be nicer than squalor. And to think that if no one knows what’s going on with them, you would think that Brad would divulge home life to a cafe worker? Didn’t think Brad was stupid. That is the biggest bunch of crock I’ve ever heard.

Has anyone looked up the dictionary definition of the word “squalor”? They might not be in a place as luxurious as they have been accustomed to up to now, but no matter how they are living, I’m pretty sure it isn’t in “squalor.” They wouldn’t allow their children to live that way.

I would love to live in the kind of squalor they do. The buiding’s exterior looks like crap but the inside is to die for. I too saw the video of the apartment and $50,000 gets you a beautiful interior and sick views.
Regarding these named sources: Brad Pitt has been in the entertainment business for years and knows how even “friends”, let alone strangers, will sell you out for a quick buck. So he’s going to open up to a cafe worker about his private life? Yeah right. I could come up with a more believable story.

BAM9love Iwant you to go to SPLASHNEWS.com and read about the description of the apartment and these are from the actual photographers that know about this building. It is magnificent its steps from the EIFFEL TOWER,they also said it was one of the most charming places in Paris.Dont let the rag mags get to you i promise after reading this you will feel a whole lot better.Smile be happy it was all a lie, we know brad and angie would only go for the best for their family.

The fact is that Brad and Angelina are going to have a baby TOGETHER. Nothing binds two people together more than a child. Their lives will now forever be linked, whether they stay together physically or not.
For this child’s sake, and Maddox’s and Zahara’s , let’s hope they stay together as a family, despite thier past.
People should just let them be.

I understand bamz’s frustration about the negative attention heaped on these two people.
But, think about what happens if they do break up: endless speculation and tabloid fodder would follow that, too.
The best we (or maybe what I) hope for is that they continue to live gracefully under such a high-powered microscope.
The most angry comment I’ve heard BP make in public was “You guys are out of control” in that pap video. That’s it!
I’d be cussing a blue streak.
It must take such composure to be them, you know?

As long as I know that Brad Pitt can NOT speak French. And we, French people, either can’t at all or speak little English. But fortunately, all Parisians who live around the Jolie-Pitts, are fluent in English. He can even understand when Brad is grumbling about! By the way, it is not easy to live in Paris after sunny California.

blueeyedsoul, I’m calm now lol. I read the wonderful interview BP gave about his upcoming PBS special (he’s narrarating, not appearing), and you get the definite sense that they’re solid (even if he never mentions AJ). Until Christina is able to post it, JustJared.com has it in the thread that has Angelina holding Maddox, and his face is painted.

I dont think so …not even for all the money in the world….she was the one who filed for divorce after all…if Brad wanted out so much then why did he not annouce the divorce …Jennifer was quite ready to give him a divorce and I have never read one thing about her wanting him Back…no matter how cute he may be …

Laura, who knows? There’s that group of Jen supporters who believe he’s kicking himself, and that he’s really pining away for her. They think she wouldn’t take him back automatically, but would in the end, and hey, it sure would play well for the Golden Couple fantasy crowd.
I honestly said it out of my frustration with the negativity that gets reported about Brad & Angelina based on nothingmore than photographs. Yeah, at the moment I posted it, in my mind I’m thinking that if it would give them (BP/AJ)some peace, and their children some peace, then be done with it. He can make the Brad/Jen lovers day, and Angelina can go her way, but I calmed down and came to my senses lol.

Can someone post the apartment infomation? I can’t seem to get it on splashnews.
What is up with people splitting up and the golden couple getting together just to please some fans? That sounds real nutty. People don’t get divorced if there wasn’t something real messed up with the relationship. They’ve all obviously moved on. Besides which, many celebrities allow the ladies to file for divorce, out of some sense of courtesy probably. So that says zip about who wanted the divorce more.
Could you imagine Jen telling the world that she wants him back? No sane woman would do that.
So really, not sure what you are really trying to get at there Laura. The way I see it, you are trying to give some sort of dignity to Jen and put her on a higher light. I have not seen even an ounce of evidence to suggest that Brad wants Jen back, let alone Jen wanting Brad back. To my mind it’s Jen who would simply LOVE getting Brad back; with all her pity, but then telling the world just how fabulous she is doing. Usually when people say such things, then they are feeling just the opposite.
So methinks, even if Brad was single, the question really is: Would Brad take Jen back? Me think not.

Bamz9Love, I’m getting to feel like I know you (even though, I, of course, don’t) and I sure do like who you are. You seem like you really care about B&A. Glad you are less discouraged. I was “taken in” (as you probably observed last week)by the lies about the B&A “bustup” with the doctored pictures, etc. so I know a little of what you felt at first with all the criticism. I’m pretty sure they are so much tougher than to let all the lies get to them and although we don’t know for sure, it seems like they really have so much going on for them that “troubles” wont do them in quite so easily as it does some couples.
Christina, take care of your little one. Pittwatch is still my first and favorite place to go in the mornings. I take care of little ones, too, so I know how important it is that you put them first–and I’m glad you do.

Oh JLS I have serious faith in the couple always. It’s the silliness of the tab’s, and my “outburst” was more about thinking at that moment that even the strongest person after awhile can maybe get ticked/hurt about what’s being said about them and/or their loved ones, and Jolie-Pitt aren’t any different and so in my head “at that moment” I’m thinking they should just say “ok world, you win! We’re busting this thing up, and I’ll get on back to being the red carpet Brad with Jennifer, and Angelina will go back to the life she had before us, and we’ll just work the kid issue out later.” It was wishing they could have a moment of peace. They’ed be miserable apart (IMO), and if you got to live under a microscope, then I’d guess they’re both with the best partner for that task.

I am a Brad Pitt fan.
But, I believe he made a big mistake getting involved with Angelina. There are alot to fall inlove with Angelina, but, my poor Brad just didn’t read on her emotional problems as a child. Maybe because he is the opposite of Angelina, he got attracted to her. By, my fellow Brad admirers, our dear Brad’s personal life is going to give him heartaches and headaches. So, let us brace ourselves and be there to support him when it happens. It will happen. Angelina does not look happy pregnant. It is a bad sign.

If I had a mother who has cancer and if I was always followed by photographers whereeverI went and if I was accused as a homewrecker unfairly and if I was talked about by the very talkative ex-wife non-stop, I WOULD NOT and COULD NOT look happy, even though I was expecting the baby of the man I adored. BP and AJ don’t know how to choose people to be with because all these insiders are like open-books or/and they have a hidden webcam in their appartment. We know even that BP sleeps on the couch already.

Alexie, i believe the reason she doesn’t look happy pregnant is the fact that she has cameras in her face 24/7. Those are the only pics we see of her–paparrazi! I’m sure she is happy and enjoying her pregnancy in private……God imagine if we all had to go through our pregnancies with millions of eyes on us—it is a stressful enough time already!!!! To Alexie: I don’t think it was a mistake at all for Brad & Angelina to be together. So what if her childhood was different than his? They share so much more now as adults than he and any woman he was with before did, and the same seems to be for Angelina and her previous relationships. They are so similar it’s not funny, and I think that’s the shocker to most people who never would have put them together in their mind. They are quite similar, and share a lot of the same qualities.
You need to read up on Jennifer Aniston’s childhood, and how in her own words and how in her own words, the negative issues from them clouded over her marriage. That’s the couple who in truth really had little in common when it came to the deeper things in life, and if people can get past the “they were so cute….they were so sweet…..they were the Golden Couple”, and just take a closer look at them past, maybe people would see Angelina Jolie was the least of their problems.

You don’t honestly believe that anyone within the Jolie-Pitt circle is actually telling anyone anything? Please don’t believe that crap, and please give them (Brad/Angelina)more credit than that. We don’t know where Brad sleeps, and neither do the Tabloids. The trash papers take one little itty bitty piece of bull, and turn it into something that is so far from the truth it needs a map to even get to where it all started from!
Brad & Angelina don’t have an entourage. they don’t employ hanger-on’s. They have a serious small circle of people who they employ, and it’s extremely doubtfull any of these people are talking out of school about Joli-Pitt.
Please don’t buy into the bull the Tab’s are selling. They’re losing money like there’s no tomorrow, and they’re printing anything to catch peoples attention and calling it truth. I love how AJ/BP make no comment whatsoever to any of them, and it’s because of this that the trash rags work even harder at coming up with new lies to sell…….I hate Tabloids so much that I don’t even read them in the grocery line! I despise them!

Like I was also making fun about all these “insiders” who are only made up by the media. I am sick and tired of all the negatives things written about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I was being just sarcastic to the tabloids who are so against BP and AJ.

In June, 2003, I was teased by my friend that I was jealous of Jennifer Aniston because I said that she didn’t look OK with a gorgeous guy like Brad Pitt. I can raise my hand on this one. My husband and I have always been big fans of both Brad and Angelina and we have often talked over the years about what a killer couple they would make. Untouchable. Of course he had the hots for Jennifer Aniston too - when I told him the news of Brad and Jen splitting up he said (oh so nonchalantly), “Oh, that must be why Jennifer called yesterday.” Turd. :)

Nobody can deny that Angelina and Brad look so good together. They are like a dream.
I remember the time perfectly, because in June, 2003 I found out that I was preganant with my daughter Zoe and my friend who teased me about them, was in France to visit me from New York.

Wow Christina! That’s amazing, really. I saw a pic of them (and Maddox) from the very VERY begining of MAMS shoots. It was so powerful, and I couldn’t believe the chemistry jumping off that little photo in People. I wouldn’t have ever wished Brad’s marriage over for it (and still don’t believe AJ factored much into the end,) but man, Brad/Angie just captivated me so much…..and apparently each other!
