Brad Pitt makes the cover of Architectural Digest

Brad Pitt has been on so many covers in his life - reputable magazines and tabloids alike, including being on covers with the title of Sexiest Male. I’ve got to say though, he must be so proud of his latest cover. He’s on the cover of the new Architectural Digest thanks to his work on rebuilding New Orleans through Make It Right by creating sustainable and affordable green living for the residents of the Lower 9th Ward.
Inside, Brad says, “I couldn’t believe nothing was going on. [...] I recalled the pictures of people on roofs, begging for help and I couldn’t believe that this was our America.”
I’m not sure how widely this magazine is available, but it’s the January 2009 issue and you can check major news stands for it if you’re curious in reading the full story. What an honor, he must be so proud. Both Brad and Angie are now being seen as more than just actors. Both of them are good people, they are both young and will accomplish many more good works in their life time. I am proud to be a Jolie-Pitt fan.

I just remembered something. Remember the 3rd anniversary of Katrina, Aug. 29., I think? Someone asked him if he’d be there, and he said no - that was for the people of NOLA, he didn’t want to be a distraction. Then he said he’d be be in NOLA for the 1st anniversary of MIR - Dec. 3. Wow, Brad and Angelina are both masters of multi-tasking. He’s going to talk about CCBB, but he’s going to make sure they talk about MIR and NOLA too. It takes lead time for a Today interview and a long long long several months long lead time for a magazine cover story.

How times and cirumstances change us! From being made fun of by his then wife and friends to being on the cover of AD. I think these two people are on God’s guardian watch,or appointed to it by Him. All of us need to take a part in the world and give a helping hand to others. I am so proud to be a member here with all of you to watch Angie and Brad become ambassadors to the world.
I agree with ducks. I think these two are something more than they seem. Much more fabulous even than just fabulous. Very positive leader material. I know they are changing me somehow too.

Brad Pitt Sits Down with Ann Curry, Talks New Orleans
Continuing along with his press run, Brad Pitt was spotted in the midst of an interview by “Today Show” co-achor Ann Curry on Monday afternoon (December 1).
The pair made their way around the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans, taking a break to sit down for the cameras in the midst of reconstruction efforts continuing after the devastation left behind by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
As for his Make It Right rebuilding effort, Pitt’s goal is to construct 150 new homes for residents - having completed six of those residences so far.
“We’ve cracked something here … these houses redefine affordable housing,” says Pitt. “This is a proving ground for a bigger idea that could work globally.”
Talking about how good it feels to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need, the “Fight Club” actor tells, “You have no idea what a high it is for me to see the delight on people’s faces when they see how these homes work. This project is not mine anymore. It’s so beyond me.”
