Brad Pitt on GQ in Italy

Brad Pitt is currently on the cover of GQ Italy’s October issue. His picture is adorned with a gun drawn below his eye, likely in honor of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford which will be opening in Italy on the 9th of November.
I wish I could tell you some of what the article says but my knowledge of the Italian language is pretty much limited to the food. If anyone here is from Italy and gets their hands on an copy, please feel free to let me know what it’s about!

This cover surprises me a bit. Now he is a father and I thought with AJ’s influence etc. he will be careful about his image so that his children would not see him in a cover photo like that (with a pistol under his eye). But I guess they are under contract to do certain cover photos and promotions for these movies. And in any case the children will see these films in few years.
I’m sure the kids will not get hold of the magazine & besides it’s GQ in Italy. I don’t know if it will be published in the States.

I agree with dapyro, it’s got a lot more to do with Jesse James than Brad himself. Also, keep in mind that although they pose for the photos, it’s the photographers and magazines who own the rights, not the celebrities. So Brad may have just posed for a head shot with no idea that they’d put the gun there.
Either way, unless you’re only going to do Disney films after you have kids, sometimes there will be things in your films/interviews/photoshoots that are inappropriate for children, and that’s the way it is. There are things I do for work (deal with racy or suggetive photos of celebrities, write with language that I wouldn’t want my young kids using, etc) that aren’t appropriate for their ages, but that’s why I keep them somewhat separate.
BTW there is an interview on parade.com where Brad talks very frankly. He talks about his life growing up etc.

He is an actor. Acting is an art. He is promoting Jesse James who is a gun expert. When Shiloh, Madd, Z, and Pax are of certain age: they can also watch Gia, Original Sin, Legends of the Fall, Thelma and Louise, etc. It is part of growing up knowing their parents are in showbiz.
I agree with lucy, that’s what i was thinking! and Sherry by the way my mia mama is italian i can speak it and read it a little, i will try to find the magazine and try to translate.
I’m Italian.. My english is terrible.. the photo is only advertisement for the movie… The article speak about Brad’s life and submission towards Angie. The journalist says to have interviewed of its friends and asked they for brad and all they are crazy of he.
It is an amusing article.
And who says the famous couple is having all kinds of problems? Looks like a happy family to me.I can’t wait til they announce their wedding plans.That might stop alot of this gossip.They have already talked about adding to their brrod,so ,I can bet there will be another biological child in the works.

Hi I am Italian and I have to tell you that Brad will be on Men’s Health Italy as well in the november issue. And there is also another magazine, Grazia, which came out a few days ago with an interview to both Brad and Angie where they talk about the way they want to raise the kids and about not getting married until they legalize gay weddings in the US.
Good to see that the first few posters agree with my following comments in the very first post of this thread;
