Brad Pitt on Oprah Winfrey video clips

November 20, 2008 by Sherry

Many of you may remember that a comment was left here awhile back from Christina who had been lucky enough to be chosen to ask Brad Pitt a question during his Oprah Winfrey interview. Christina decided to ask Brad about some of his tattoos but he declined to elaborate, blushing and simply declaring that they were personal and that he’d like to just leave it at that. Fair enough Brad! When so little in your life is private, I completely understand wanting to hold onto some of the things that you can.

Here’s the video clip of Christina asking Brad about his tattoos:

Brad Pitt talking about how his kids are the greatest thing in his life, explaining the media to the children, and waiting for the twins to arrive:

If you’d like to see the entire show, reader Jessica emailed me this link. You’ll have to sign up for an account and log in, but apparently the whole thing is there. Also, for those of you who have asked about how to purchase the episode, most talk shows allow you to buy full episodes, so you can check out Oprah.com for more details.

Honestly, I could listen to Brad talk about his kids and Angelina Jolie for hours just because it’s so obvious from the joy in his voice and the way his face lights up that he is incredibly happy with his life right now.

I see the look of love on Brad’s face it is written all over. He is happy with his life, with Angie & their 6 children. I keep on watching the video & never get tired of it, I love how he described the children & Angie, so cute & his face expressions are way over the moon so proud & in love.
My guess, they are spending their holidays either in Cambodia or Africa.
    God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

As I basically said on the only other sane JP site anymore (BradPittWatch), watching/hearing not only Brad talk about his life, but also Oprah’s face, and hearing her, should never again deny that Brad and Angie are real, and here to stay.

The man is so content and settled in his heart and it’s wonderful to see. It’s really a beautiful thing to hear him talk about “his family.”

I just shake my head in disbelief when I think that he almost didn’t do MAMS, and if any of the other actresses hadn’t pulled out, Angie wouldn’t have did it either.

I think A and B hit a bumpy road back in 2006-7 with their work schedules, media exposure, A’s mom’s death, etc. But they are happy, at peace now.
I think they will spend Christmas in Cambodia and/or Vietnam, hopefully the latter too since that’s my birthplace.

  8. julia says:

dude! i could watch brad pitt talk about anything for hours!
Thanks for the awesome clips! I can’t believe I forgot to tape it :-(

  9. Lucy says:

I noticed he didn’t want to mention the country where they are going next because of the paps. He also mentioned the time when Angie was on bed rest a little bit during the interview. What’s nice was, they were flashing photos of Angie, him and the kids at some point and photos of his career from Thelma and Louise, Interview with a Vampire, etc. I taped the second part of this interview.

    He’s so lovely :)

It´s easy to see that he´s very happy. Whenever he talked about Angie and the children his face lit up. The love he feels for those seven is written all over his face. I could watch this video over and over again and never get bored. He has finally found happiness and he deserves it. Wonder if his ex watched that show. If she did she must have been either fuming or jealous. But who cares how she felt. Brad has what he´s always wanted (a family) and he deserves it.

  12. Kristen says:

I wish Oprah would have let him just ramble. I loved hearing all the funny little anecdotes about the children and how militant Angelina is about making sure they have all their toys. I just think it’s the sweetest thing in the world. Brad and Angie are love personified!

  13. Vida says:

I love the story about ZeeZee (what a cute nickname). She’s probably the only female on this Earth who would dare put dog-poop-covered hand in the face of Brad Pitt!!!

She’s a gutsy little thing LOL

  14. mélodie says:

i never heard about brad’s tatoo who is about a daniel pearl quote: somebody knows something about it?

  15. sarita says:

Argh. I wish I had a television so that I could watch this! My friend taped it for me, but I still haven’t gotten around to his apartment.
Even if I had a TV, I wouldn’t normally watch Oprah. I think she’s ultra-smug. Does anyone else think Brad seems a little uncomfortable here, with her? Her “Dare I see” comment just struck me, after watching the clip, as a little..I don’t know..forceful or something.
I guess I’ll have to watch the whole show. Still, I hope Angie never goes on Oprah, just because you can tell Oprah doesn’t have the best will toward her.

  16. Ligaya says:

I watched the show and taped it too. It was good to see and listen to Brad, and Cate too. Obviously, Brad and Cate are very comfortable with each other from working on 2 films now. The questions from fans were interesting too.

I noticed they edited out the story about Pax peeing on the time out chair (maybe on Brad’s request?) – maybe he’d be embarrassed about it when he got older. OTOH, ZeeZee and the dog poop, lol. I’m glad the timing worked out the way it did. Oprah taped Brad first, maybe it made her a tad bit more objective about X. She taped X next and aired X first. Then Oprah aired Brad last. I think that was good because the most recent show is the one that lasts longer, and the good impression Brad made and his stories about Angelina and their kids aren’t negated by X’ stories immediately after.

  17. Mary Ann says:

I liked the part about if he had one wish it would be to have no fences, gates and his children could run from yard to yard. This is what I always try to explain to people who think that the rich and famous have it made. They don’t have to worry about money, but they sure can’t live free lives.
