Brad Pitt Puts Up With George Clooney’s Teasing

This is just funny. As we all know, Brad Pitt and George Clooney are good friends off the set and not only that, one of their favorite things to do is to tease each other and make fun of each other.
People.com has a cute little post about how George Clooney loves to remind Brad Pitt that he has an Oscar - and that poor Brad does not.
In fact, the 46-year old admits he often lords his big win over Oscar-less pal Brad Pitt.
“That’s what I enjoy doing with Brad – is gloating,” Clooney joked.
This part also made me laugh, when he mentioned his award:
“I keep it back over a fireplace in my house,” he said. “When my friends come over, I make them pick it up and we take photographs of them giving an acceptance speech.”
Sometimes those two aren’t just friends, sometimes they sound like brothers!

Am I the only one that would pretty much put up with George Clooney’s teasing…or anything from George Clooney!? ;-)

Well I did wander how long it would take for the Clooney himself, to bring up Brad in an interview, this time round.
On this promotional stint, he had been asked up to now.
**Kim,
It’s good that you have found your peace with them at last. But you do know that he goes home to Angie right??? ;)

George and Brad are dear friends, just like Angie and Marianne are also good friends.

Actually, as much as we all like Brad to be “BFF” with George Clooney, we must not forget that there´s is a “work friendship”, like among colleagues, nothing more. At least that is what George Clooney stressed in an interview I read in a German magazine about two years ago. Maybe it has changed by now, but he did say he would not call Brad his friend, even though he likes him very much and enjoys his company when they work together - but that his real friends were the people that he is in touch with on a regular basis during his normal life, who he hangs out with, and that those people had nothing to do with the movie business. It´s a pity, but maybe things have changed, and maybe they are closer now. In any case, even if they are not best friends, I am sure they really like each other a lot as colleagues!

Nice to see genuine friendship can still exist in Hollywood.

While I also adore the obvious joking around friendship that George, Matt & Brad have. There is a glaring error in this People blurb… Brad also has an Oscar! He won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for 12 Monkeys. I watched him receive it

Timmi,
Brad got the award for 12 Monkeys at the Golden Globe Best Supporting, not the Oscars. However, he was Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival last year for AOJJ.

I like George’s sense of humor he’s really funny. Anyway, Movie Star like Brad doesn’t need an Oscar he’s famous all over the world and still considered as Sexiest Man Alive. I love you Brad!!!

Timmi,
Brad was nominated for Oscar for 12 Monkeys, but he didn’t win. He got GG for it. VFF for AOJJ.
**Sophia,
We all heard George say that about Brad. But you what, he still calls him minimum of once a month (LK Live) and can’t help but mention him every chance he gets without prompting.
So you know what he is missing something through this lack of closeness, NOT Brad. We rarely hear Brad bring up George in an unrelated unsolicited conversation.
Think about it and tell me truthfully, WHO do think is desperate for the friendship/closeness alignment???
