Brad Pitt & Quentin Tarantino to meet in France?

According to Nikki Finke at Deadline Hollywood Daily, Quentin Tarantino was meeting with Brad Pitt in France today to further discuss the possibility of working together on the WWII movie Inglorious Bastards. Allegedly several companies (Universal, Warner Bros., Paramount, Sony) are all being pitched but people are waiting to see whether Brad is in or out.
The movie is set to start shooting in October, so a decision will have to be made soon. I think Brad would be great in a war role, and October is still far enough away to give him plenty of time with his new family members.

Maybe the decision will be based on where the movie would be filmed. Didn’ Angie say that they were both taking some time off.
I thought Brad was doing a film with Mark Walberg sometime in the fall, The Fighter?
I don’t know if this will push through, but I like Quentin Tarantino and his quirky movies and I think it’ll be interesting to have him direct Brad.
I don’t think it’s possible to do a movie with Tarantino at this time right after the twins’ birth, Brad will start shooting “The Fighter” soon. He probably do the The Fighter & squeeze’ Tarantino movie in between, whatever he decides I’m sure he will talk it over with Angie. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

I don’t think Angie said that, she said she finds that she wants to spend more time with the kids. Said that brad will be working mostly.
Brad’s turn to work? He just did Tree of Life. He must reconsider after all Angelina’s turn was working on with Leon and V, but it was a collaboration. Let’s see if he will take this one!

I don’t know about Tarantino and have not seen any of his movies, but as long as Brad is in it then I will definitely watch it. It’s great that we are going to see more of Brad’s movies in the next few months. We will not see much of Angie as the twins will keep her off the big screen for quite sometime!
I’m going to see Wanted with my husband this Saturday as Hollywood movies are normally premiered 3-4 weeks later than in the US. I’m getting so excited, especially after I have read all your reviews and comments!
My husband and I took our 4.5 year old son to see Kung Fu Panda 2 weeks ago and we had great fun watching it. It is such a good family movie that it topped all box offices in Vietnam.
I would really love to see Brad in this film! I just think it’d be good to see him in a war movie because i don’t think he’s done one like that before has he? I like to see him in all kinds of roles! He’s so talented. But i also heard he was in The Fighter film so i don’t know how that’s going to work.. I guess we’ll wait and see.. I hope she and her children are healthy and well.
Really thrilled about the twins, a boy and girl how great is that! All I can think of right now is the big challenge ahead for them. At some point in the future they will be on the move again, and can you imagine traveling with 6 kids all needing car seats. Did anyone ever hear about Brads parents arriving?

Just saw a report that this movie would be filmed in Germany and France. So maybe Brad would agree to do it.
I don’t much care for Tarantino’s recent stuff, and didn’t both “Death Proof” and “Sin City” tank?
Also, it’s weird that Pitt would work on Aronofksky’s “The Fighter” when he notoriously pulled out of “The Fountain” (Aronofsky’s last).
Not trying to be negative, but “The Fountain” was awful, IMO, so good on Pitt.
I saw this on another thread. It said that Brad had accepted the offer. But you can’t believe anything until it actually happens. I know that he is going to start filming the fighter in October. I don’t know how he will do both. I am really waiting to see he and George promoting Burn After Reading in August. The film comes out in September (I think). I hope that his fans support his upcoming films. They did not show up for Assination of JJ by C…. It really was a great film. Casey was great. But Brad had a wonderful performance also.
Apparently there were issues with the script Sarita, that he wasn’t comfortable with. He’s not the only actor to have walked away from a role he/she wasn’t comfortable with.
Showbiz Tonight will say what they want, even with the evidence in front of them showing the contrary.

Not sure about either movie, but Mr. Tarantino must really want him to travel just to speak with him for a few hours. Don’t lmpw how he could do both. But if he had a choice, I think he would choose Tarantino and DiCaprio. He has said he wants to work with Leonardo.

Yay! Miracle of miracles – Showbiz Tonight was actually decent about the JPs tonight! Their 2 commentators agreed that the JPs are good parental role models. The “con” comment dragged out the old “yank kids out of school & cared for by nannies.” Happy dance, happy dance – they chose my comment for the “pro” side: Yes, Angelina & Brad are role model parents. The children’s stability is their loving & intact family.

The new arrival of the Jolie-Pitts are sure to be on the cover of a magazine as soon as Angie has her rest.It will more than likely feature Angie,Brad and the babies,just the same as they did with Shiloh.I can wait, but Ange and the babies need some rest time.

i’ve read that too MaryAnn. Brad and Tarantino had dinner and discuss about the movie and that the filming will be on Germany and France, but i don’t know if it’s really true.
